Between You And Me on zee one Tuesday 4th July 2023 update, Mishri dances with Pushpa and calls Vansh as well. He asks them why they are dancing but Pushpa is clueless. I am dancing because MIshri Didi is dancing. Tell us the reason. Mishri shares that she is now certain that it is her Mapu only. Vansh speaks of Ira’s words. She isn’t wearing vermilion. Mishri speaks of concealer. She hid it. Her vermilion looked a little different than the rest of her face. Vansh recalls and nods in agreement. You are right. Mishri says I now know that she is my Mapu but why is she doing this. She requests Bajrang Bali to help her.

Ira thanks Kabir for his idea. Concealer hid my vermilion. He tells her not to thank her. I am doing some good deeds by helping your family. Ira thanks him again. Very rare people can go out of their way to help someone. Let me
know if you need any help ever in life. He says you have said it so many times. I don’t need anything. She swears upon Mishri that she will give him whatever he will ask for in return of his help. He nods. You can start today’s drama. We have a milestone to achieve today. She says I will try to make Akhilesh the way he was. He used to take care of this family and would get whatever he set his mind to. Kabir tells her not to lower his image in that process. He feels I have come here to snatch everything from him. Ira says I know the truth. If truth had a face, it would be you. Remember this and my promise always. I am with you if you need anything in life. She leaves.
Kabir smirks at himself in the mirror. He repeats Ira’s words. She is so naive and innocent. Shall I call her innocent or dumb? Do you think I want to do some good deeds by helping you? My real motive is something else altogether! You are jumping on the axe whenever you tell me that you can do anything for me. You even swore upon Mishri today. Now you will have to give me whatever I will ask for. His phone rings. He tells the caller that everything will be fine like before when he will ask for his favour.
Ira pushes stuff away and asks the servant to throw it away. He tells Ira it is her photo but Ira calls it behenji. She is no more. You can throw it away! Akhilesh snatches the photo out of his hand. It is my wife’s photo and it will stay here only! Ira says this was what was missing. What is it? Akhilesh points out that his wife has bought all this stuff. She corrects him. She is no more. Maybe you are forgetting that this is my house now. I will decide what’s useful and what’s useless here! Your daughter has ruined my scarf worth a lac. This is her punishment. Her mother’s photo will be thrown out of the house! He firmly says that nothing will move an inch till the time they are here. Ira repeats her order to the servant / guard but Akhilesh threatens him. The guard runs out. She tells Akhilesh that this is her house. You cannot make your rules. I will be the one doing that. Why did you end up in this condition when you love your house so much? He tells her to mind her words. I may lose my cool. She says this is reality. You are just a blo*dy loser with nothing! What are you so proud of? You don’t do anything. Your mother has turned crazy (she turns her back to him while saying this). Don’t know if your daughter even goes to school or not. Who cares? This family should have been in a circus! She turns towards him. You should feel bad. You hurt Amaya’s ego after all. Just wait and watch what I do now. I haven’t seen a bigger loser than you who turned his father’s well set up business penny-less. It is good that your behen ji type wife died. Heaven is better than living a life like this! He warns her to stop. Not another word, Mrs. Amaya Pandey. She tells him that this is just the beginning.
A guy (jeweller) greets Ira. How can I help? She shows him Ira’s bangle. I want to sell it. Akhilesh points out that this is Ira’s bangle. She points out that his kids have lost one bangle and she had to forcibly wear this one. I can sell it to make up for my loss. What is it’s value? The jeweller asks for it but Akhilesh refuses to let it happen. Ira suggests him to buy it from her if it is bothering him so much. It is your wife’s bangle after all. He asks her to name its price. Mishri is watching everything from the stairs. Ira mocks Akhilesh. You don’t have a penny but a lot of confidence. He asks her to name the price again. She offers him a deal. You have an issue with the fact that Kabir and I bought this house. We will leave the house if you can bring even 1% of the price of this house. I know it is impossible as it comes to 10 lacs. You don’t have the guts to earn that much. He replies that she will get her money by tomorrow. Nothing will be even shifted an inch till then. She agrees. She tells the jeweller to come tomorrow. I am certain Akhilesh wont be able to arrange the money. The jeweller nods and leaves. Ira tells Akhilesh he and his entire family will leave the house if he fails. Akhilesh says you wouldn’t need to even say it. we will do it willingly. She nods. She mentally apologizes to Akhilesh. I know you are a fighter and you love challenges. This is my motive. I want you to win this challenge for yourself.
Mishri realises that Akhilesh would go to fight yet again. I must stop him somehow. I cannot let him risk his life for money. She calls out to Akhilesh. Please don’t go. We will find a solution. He asks her to let go of his hand. She denies but he tells her that no one can stop him today. Ira wonders why Mishri is stopping Akhilesh. Akhilesh leaves. Ira asks Mishri why she was stopping Akhilesh. He is going to earn money. Mishri shares that Akhilesh has gone to Akhada to fight. He gets paid to lose in the fight. He will be hurt badly in the process. I don’t want it to happen so I was trying to stop him. She runs after Akhilesh. Ira sits down in shock. What did I do? I dint think of what extent Akhilesh can go to. He will hurt himself and risk his life. I must stop him. She gets thinking.
Akhilesh comes to Pintu’s office. I am ready for the fight. I want to be paid for losing. He notices Pintu packing his stuff. What’s happening? Am I late? Pintu shares that it has stopped. A mad woman called police and informed them that this is illegal. Everything is finished! Akhilesh asks for her name. He shares Amaya’s name.
Mishri is pacing worriedly in the living room. Vansh requests her to eat something. Mamu will take time. Mishri says Bapu is risking his life for money. He must be so hurt! Akhilesh shouts Amaya’s name as he enters. Vansh is confused to see him angry. Mishri says I am glad he isn’t hurt.
Ira comes downstairs. Why are you shouting? Where is my money? He says you blocked all my ways to win money. You stoop so low! She reasons that she will keep challenges in the deal. I don’t want illegal money. Akhilesh says it will be fun to make you lose now. You want me to toil hard to earn money which I have never been afraid of! Now I will earn it the right way and I will throw it all on your face! Akhilesh leaves. Vansh panics while Mishri is all smiles. She recalls Ira’s warning to them.
I know what has happened. She takes out a measuring scale and measures her distance with Ira. I am maintaining the distance but this distance cannot stop you from taking care of me and Bapu. Ira asks her what she means. Mishri shares that her concealer has hidden her vermilion. Ira calls it nonsense but Mishri calls it common sense. You closed the Akhada when I told you how he would earn the money. It wasn’t because you dint want him to bring money. It was because you cannot see him in pain. Ira tries to talk but Mishri stops her. This drama wont work anymore. It is your birthday tomorrow. I know it that you are my Mapu. I may not have proof but I challenge you that you will give your proof to everyone yourself tomorrow! Ira gulps. Mishri goes upstairs with Vansh. Ira says why my kid is so smart. I will have to be extra cautious tomorrow. I am your mother in stubbornness too if you are stubborn!
Ira is in her room. It is so strange. I am in my home and it is my birthday tomorrow. Moti Ba would have blessed me immensely if everything had been fine. Wish I could take seek her blessings this time too. Adi and Tanya will send me to jail for terrorism if they find out the truth. She thinks of an idea. I will do it before everyone else wakes up. She sets an early alarm and lies down to sleep.
Ira wakes up at 4:55 am. She realises that she woke up even before the alarm rang. Everyone must be sleeping. This is my chance. She goes to Pushpa’s room. Moti Ba is sleeping so peacefully. Ira walks inside. Ira moves the duvet aside and touches Pushpa’s feet. Past memories flash before her eyes. It is my birthday today, Moti Ba. I need your blessings very much. I have to fulfil the promise that I had made to you. I promised you I wont let this family break ever. I had never thought that one day will come when I will have to go away from my family and you all will be in this condition. Don’t lose heart. I will set everything right with your blessings. Akhilesh will stand back on his feet. I will rid Mishri of all the abuses she is going through! This is my promise to you. I only need your blessings Moti Ba.
Akhilesh opens the door and is taken aback to see her there. What are you doing in my Amma’s room? Ira wonders what she will say to him. Akhilesh repeats his question twice for her. She pretends to be drunk. What’s this woman doing in my room? That is the question. The nation needs to know what this woman is going in my room! I was partying all night. I came to my room to sleep peacefully and she is sleeping in my room. Everyone is so weird here. Anyone sleeps in anyone’s room. She speaks loudly and he tells her to be quiet. You are so drunk that you don’t even know which room it is. It is my mother’s room. She replies that someone has taken over every room here. It is so confusing. I am going. She drops a decor item. Pushpa wakes up. Akhilesh puts her back to sleep. He next reprimands Ira for drinking too much. You cannot even stand straight right now. She tells him she is in no mood for a lecture. He says I don’t want you to disturb anyone else. I will take you to your room. He takes her to her room. I mistook you for Ira once. Even her shadow isn’t like you! She asks him if his wife never had alcohol. How boring! He asks her if people who don’t drink alcohol are boring. Don’t call her that. She used to be very happy and used to keep everyone happy as well. I still remember the day we had gone to Malaysia and she was drunk. Flashback of the same incident is shown. His eyes well up. Ira asks him why he stopped. Leave me. He shares that Ira promised not to have alcohol ever again. I can never forget that day. I still remember her happy face, her beautiful eyes, scattered hair and her til on the back. She looked so beautiful! She stumbles in her step and he holds her close. They share an eye lock. Khushrang Bahara plays. Ira frees herself and walks away. Her dress gets stuck in his bracelet. She panics that he might see her til. He will find out my truth then. She tells him to stay away from him. This dress is so expensive. You and your daughter only know how to spoil things. He says I said sorry. It was by mistake. My biggest mistake is that I helped you. He goes. Ira feels bad. I am so sorry Akhilesh but I cannot tell you my truth. I cannot even tell you how much I have missed you in the past 3 months. I am so close to you yet I am so far away from you. It is my birthday today. All eyes will be fixed on me. I cannot let anyone doubt my identity. I am so sorry Akhilesh. She cries.
There is a puja at home in Ira’s memory. Akhilesh tells Pundit ji to make sure nothing is amiss in the puja. Tanya assures him about it. I have asked for Ira Bhabhi’s favourite Seera. Ira Bhabhi liked it, right? Akhilesh nods. Tanya asks Akhilesh to give her some money. I thought to give donation in orphanage in her room. She is excited thinking she can do monsoon shopping finally. Ira snatches the bundle of money from her hands. Akhilesh spoke to me about money. What’s this? I asked for 1% which equals to 10 lacs. This isn’t even 1% of that 1%. He tells her that she will get the money after the puja. She replies that no puja will be held in her home.
Ira calls it 16th century material. How can you do all this in 21st century? I have allergy from smoke. This wont happen. Akhilesh says it is my wife’s birthday today. She reminds him that Ira is no more. Don’t dirty my house in the name of celebration. She asks them servant to leave. She tells Akhilesh that there is a party at home in evening. I want this hall clean. You are not invited to the party if I don’t get my money by evening. You should leave quietly then. Akhilesh leaves in a huff. Tanya asks Ira to return the money to her. It is for donation. Ira agrees but keeps a condition – let me slap you twice. Tanya walks away.
Ira mentally apologizes to Akhilesh. You have to focus on your future rather than reminiscing about our past. Mishri wishes Ira Happy Birthday. She shows
a card to her and reads out the message she has written for Ira. I am from you and because of you. Don’t go away or the house will break apart. It will smile only when you are here. Happy Birthday Mapu. Ira repeats that she isn’t her Mapu. It isn’t even my birthday. Stop wishing me. Mishri stays put. I know you are my Mapu. I am ecstatic as I will be celebrating your birthday today! Ira asks her to move aside. I have to make preps for a party with my friends. Don’t go over the moon thinking it is a birthday party. She heads upstairs. Mishri says you may act if you want but I know that you are my Mapu. I will do something special today for you.
Akhilesh vows to take the house back from Ira. She isn’t letting me do havan in my home only! Mira asks him if everything is fine. Akhilesh shares that Amaya isn’t letting him do anything at his own house. It is also because of you somehow. This all wouldn’t have happened if you hadn’t gotten that bangle. Mira apologizes to him. How can I help you? He asks her if she can help him find a job. I have to throw money at this woman’s face! I cannot even go for a wrestling fight because of her! Drop it. Mira says there is a job but it is for labours. Come with me if you want to do it. Akhilesh goes with her.
Tanya is sitting upset in a corner. Devina taunts her. Tanya tells her what happened a while ago. Devina says if she is Ira then she wont go puja for herself. She would want to throw a party instead. Tanya nods. She has kept a party in the evening. Devina asks her why she is telling her this now. Tanya says you only said she isn’t Ira. She even cleared the vermilion. Devina nods. It might also be because of concealer. Tanya understands what Devina is hinting at. We are back to square one. We have to find out if it is Ira or not. They go quiet as Ira comes there. She is ordering a dark chocolate cake. Devina tells Tanya that it is Ira’s favourite cake. Ira turns and notices them. are you guys spying on me? Devina requests her if they can also come to her party. We haven’t had good food in a while. Ira agrees. I would need a servant and a joker (Tanya) for my party. Tanya gets angry. Are you crazy? Ira denies. This will drive you crazy. She shows a big bundle of money to Tanya. Devina coughs and Tanya ends up accepting her order. Ira tells them she will pay them after the party only. Get onto it! Devina nods. Ira goes. Tanya asks Devina if she wants to become a joker. Devina points out that this is the best way to keep an eye on Ira / Amaya. Tanya refuses to dress like a joker. She shares a plan with Devina. We can send mummy ji as joker. Ira will get furious if it is indeed her! Devina reminds her that Ira dint react when Mishri had put her hand on a lit diya. Your idea isn’t bad but you chose the wrong joker. I know who can make Ira react. Tanya asks her about it. Devina tells her to follow her.
Tanya dresses Pushpa as a joker. Devina gets afraid seeing her thus but then compliments her. Pushpa looks at herself. Am I looking pretty? Will I get gulabjamun in the party? They fool her. You just have to do your monkey dance there. Pushpa happily does that right away. Tanya asks Devina if she is sure Amaya will react if she is indeed Ira. Devina nods. Pushpa meant so much to Ira. She will not spare us if she is really Ira. Tanya suggests taking Pushpa downstairs but Devina decides to take the kids away for a while. They wont let us implement our plan otherwise.
Mishri and Vansh look at Ira’s party unhappily. Vansh points out that Ira is drinking. I think she cannot be your Mapu. Ira thinks she cannot tell them the truth. I have to act so I can continue my plan. I wish I could tell you that this is just apple juice.
Akhilesh is fixing furniture in an orphanage. Ira’s words echo in his head. Mira is impressed. You fixed all the chairs in a very less time. Thank you. He thanks her. I got work because of you. I can take out my anger on this wood atleast. She gives him money but it is too less. He tells her to hand it over to the orphanage in Ira’s name. It is her birthday today. She would have done the same if she was alive today. Saying so, he walks away. Mira calls him a gem of a person. She loves his wife so much even though she has passed away.
Devina sends Mishri and Vansh to bring Pushpa’s medicine. She is experiencing chest pain. What if it is another heart attack? Mishri suggests her to go but Devina lies that she is illiterate. What if I bring wrong medicine? Vansh seconds her. The kids run off to the chemist.
A girl asks Ira about the bandage. Ira dismisses it as nothing. Devina and Tanya take Pushpa outside. Pushpa does monkey dance.
