Between You And Me on zee one Monday 3rd July 2023 update, Pushpa says even Mishri has no proof to prove it that it is Mishri’s Mapu. Akhilesh is right. She isn’t wearing vermilion! She has no vermilion. Mishri says this is a great suggestion. If Bapu fills Mapu’s hairline then she wont remove it. We have to make Bapu fill Mapu’s hairline somehow.

Kabir says I can understand your emotions very well but what you are about to do is really tough. Going against your loved ones for their sake is like hurting yourself and them all the time. What will happen in future if you broke in your first attempt itself? She says I know it isn’t easy but right now all I have is hope. If I live up to it and save even one relation then I will emerge as victorious. I will set my emotions aside and do what’s best for my family. Come what may I wont
let them know that I am Ira! It will be my victory if I save ever one of them.
Mishri promises Bajrang Bali that she will prove it that it is her Mapu only. She blows conch. It is a great idea Vansh. Vansh says we will complete our mission. They go. Adi has overheard everything and is irked. They have gone nuts! Amaya has proved it that she isn’t Ira but these kids are trying to be over smart. She will throw us out of the house if she loses her cool! I don’t want to be thrown out of the house because of them. He decides to hide the box of vermilion. He hides all the vermilion boxes from the temple. One box falls down and vermilion spills over in Ganesha’s foot. He picks it up using his hands. There wont be any test now. He hides every single box in Mishri’s room.
Next morning, Mishri has a question paper ready for Ira. Where was she since these days? Why was she away from us? We missed her very much. Vansh reminds her that they have to make her complete the vermilion test before making her answer her questions. They get onto their plan but cannot find any vermilion box in temple. They hear Akhilesh talking to someone about matches. Mishri tells Vansh they must stop him from leaving somehow. Vansh gets the task of stopping Akhilesh. He tries to engage Akhilesh in chit chat and Mishri goes to look for the vermilion box. Akhilesh doubts Vansh’s intentions but he tackles him smartly. He requests Akhilesh to help him in maths homework. Akhilesh reminds him that he has been a topper in maths. Why do you need my help? Vansh lies that even genius needs help sometimes. Akhilesh helps him. Adi watches Mishri checking in the drawers helplessly and smiles. Keep looking Mishri but you wont find it! Akhilesh solves Vansh’s sums.
Devina and Tanya notice the smile on Adi’a face. They ask him the reason. He calls himself genius. I foiled their plan. They wanted to see if Amaya puts vermilion or not to find out if she is Ira or not. I hid all the boxes so they wont be able to test Amaya. You guys can also praise me. They actually end up hitting him (almost). Devina says even I thought it isn’t Ira but Amaya but what if she indeed is Ira. She will make our life hell. Don’t you get that? He realises his folly.
Akhilesh tells Vansh to focus on his studies. It was a very simple question. Mishri prays to God to help her. This test wont happen if Bapu will leave. Please stop him. You have to do a miracle now.
Pushpa calls out to Akhilesh just when he is about to leave. She asks him if the work he is going for is auspicious or not. He gets confused. It is auspicious. She tells him to seek blessings from Lord before leaving. My Amma says so. He folds his hands in reverence upon her asking. She also tells him to bow down in front of God. Hasn’t your Amma taught you anything? He tells her not to talk about his Amma. She has taught me a lot. She tells him to do it then. He bends his head and gets a teeka (of vermilion) on his head. The kids jump in joy seeing that God is on their side. Pushpa plays with them. Akhilesh asks them why they are dancing. Pushpa says I feel like dancing seeing them dance. He advises them to stay away from Amaya while I am away. Mishri reminds Pushpa that her friend must not leave without having breakfast. Pushpa does not let Akhilesh leave without eating breakfast.
Vansh compliments Mishri. You stopped Mamu for real. She nods. We have to now make Bapu meet Mapu so his teeka can fill Mapu’s vermilion. He gets confused. How can it happen like that? She replies that she has an answer to that and takes him with her. She ties a string on the stairs. Vansh calls it dangerous as someone can fall. She says that’s the plan. I will bring Mapu from here. She will stumble in her step because of this string. He understands her plan. Mishri says it will be God’s hint if everything happens as per my plan. She requests Bajrang Bali to help her find out the truth.
Mishri knocks at Ira’s door. Ira thinks all she wants to do if hug Mishri tightly right now but I must keep a tab on my emotions. She opens the door and acts rude with Mishri. Why did you come to disturb me in the morning? Mishri shares that it is 10 am. Ira tries to close the door but Mishri tries taking Ira downstairs with her. Ira refuses. She stands with her back to Mishri. Mishri says you want to hide in the room to escape from all of us especially Bapu. You know you wont be able to hide the truth from Bapu if he comes in front of you. You love him very much after all. Ira gets emotional but hides it. You are so irritating. Do you know it? I am not your Mapu but Amaya. I don’t care. Mishri asks her to come downstairs with her to prove it. Ira agrees. You will stay away from me afterwards. Mishri gives in. Ira heads downstairs on her own. Mishri is glad thinking she will bring out Mapu’s truth in front of everyone soon.
Vansh asks Akhilesh to come upstairs with him. Kabir uncle wants to throw away Mami’s stuff. Akhilesh gets miffed. How dare he touch her belongings? Ira is coming downstairs while Akhilesh is headed upstairs. Mishri and Vansh do thumbs up at each other. Ira stumbles on the rope and falls straight in Akhilesh’s arms. Her hairline gets filled by the vermilion in his teeka. The kids are grinning ear to ear. Past memories flash in Ira and Akhilesh’s mind while all the elders look on in confusion. An ecstatic Mishri tells Vansh that her plan worked. It is indeed my Mapu! I even got hint from God. Bapu’s teeka has filled her hairline! Pushpa also smiles. Ira touches her forehead and looks at the vermilion. She glares at Mishri. Is this why you tied this thread here? She also scolds Akhilesh.
You were coming upstairs intentionally so you could witness all this. Akhilesh denies. I don’t have any such interest. I was told that Ira’s belongings were getting thrown out of the room so I was going upstairs. Kabir asks them what’s happening here. He questions Akhilesh as to when he said that. Akhilesh looks at the kids silently. Kabir tells Akhilesh that he is letting him stay here as he gave his word to him. Don’t try to touch my wife ever again! Kabir holds Ira’s hand. Akhilesh steps aside to let them go. Mishri bows down her head. Akhilesh takes her downstairs.
Akhilesh reprimands both Vansh and Mishri that this woman isn’t Mishri’s Mapu. I wont spare you if you do such kind of a childish act again! Understand one thing clearly. This woman has nothing to do with our family! He walks away in a huff. Pushpa takes the kids with her. Tanya is still confused over whatever happened. Adi asks her to come.
Vansh says our super plan flopped. Mishri counters him. It was successful. Bapu’s teeka filled Mapu’s hairline. Vansh says she was so irritated. She would have wiped the vermilion by now. Mishri is sure Ira wouldn’t have done it if she is indeed her Mapu. We have to carefully keep a check on her forehead.
Ira is looking at the mirror. Kabir asks her what the kids did because of which she has this vermilion in her hairline now. Ira praises her smart little one. Kabir reminds of their mission. You wont be able to do any of that if you will become emotional like this. She is about to wipe it clean but Kabir stops her. You put it after so long. She reasons that she must wipe it to fix everything. everyone will doubt my identity if I leave it on. She is teary eyed.
Vansh and Mishri are eagerly waiting for Ira at the stairs. Mishri is sure Ira would be in a fix. She cannot clean the vermilion and cannot even step out of the room like this. She has therefore locked herself in her room. I am certain she wont be able to remove it ever. I have to go inside the room to find out the truth. Vansh nods. Ira comes out and goes downstairs directly. She is wearing a scarf around her forehead covering her vermilion. The kids follow her downstairs. Mishri tells Vansh that Mapu wore that scarf to hide the vermilion. We have to make her remove it so as to find out the truth. Ira asks them what they are discussing. Mishri asks her why she is wearing a scarf when the sunshine isn’t even coming inside. Ira calls it fashion. You wont understand. Mishri claps for her. You made an excuse just like my Mapu. Ira says I dint make an excuse. Let me eat in peace now. The kids sit down to eat as well. They pick up paratha’s. Ira asks them why they eat such oily breakfast. Mishri remarks that she is taking care of her just like her Mapu. Can I eat cornflakes too? It isn’t oily. Ira tells her to eat whatever she wants to except her head. Mishri drops her bowl. Ira asks her if she cannot even eat properly. Mishri apologizes and offers to clean it. She brings vacuum cleaner, goes under the table and catches hold of one end of Ira’s scarf. It comes off in a second. The kids look at Ira in shock. Tanya and Devina are watching it from far as well. Tanya asks Devina if she saw it herself. She has cleaned the vermilion.
Ira scolds Mishri for not being able to use the vacuum cleaner. Mishri says it happened by mistake. Vansh tells Mishri that it isn’t her Mapu. She has cleaned the vermilion. Ira speaks about the price of scarf (just to scare Tanya and Devina). It costs a lac and was specially designed. Mishri asks her if she dint pay too much price for it. Vansh apologizes to her for ruining her scarf. Ira warns them to maintain a distance of 2 meter from her from today onwards. Mishri is confused hearing it. Ira reasons that this is how it happens in US. Tanya asks Devina if there is a rule of 2 meter distance in US too. Tanya shakes her head which gives Devina a chance to taunt her. Ira warns the kids of consequences if they try to come near her. Have paratha’s only! Tanya and Devina get up startled by the noise. Ira asks them if they made the kids do all of that. They decline.
Vansh says we failed the vermilion test. Mami wouldn’t have done that ever! Mishri seconds him. Is she really not my Mapu? Was I wrong? Is she just my Mapu’s lookalike and not really her?
Devina and Tanya discuss the same thing. Tanya says it is evident now that it isn’t Ira. Devina rues that if it was true then she could have sent her to jail directly. Please kill me Lord if she is Ira. Pushpa startles her by coming unannounced from behind and hugs Devina from behind. Tanya has to call Mishri to save Devina. Mishri cutely tells Pushpa not to trouble Langdu Chachu (Devina) as she is old. Devina speaks in her usual tone and voice. Mishri and Pushpa are reminded slightly of Devina. Mishri makes to take Pushpa with her. Pushpa asks her why she is sad. Mishri tries to avert it but then tells Pushpa that it isn’t her Mapu who is staying at home. She even removed the vermilion. Pushpa says I told you before but you dint hear me. Let’s go and play.
