Between You And Me on zee one Sunday 2nd July 2023 update, Akhilesh manages to bring his hand back in a levelled position as Kabir. He looks at Amaya. I told you I wont lose you. He wins the match. The kids are overjoyed. Mishri dances on Panchi Banu song with Pushpa. Amaya asks Kabir to stop it. Tanya says good people never lose. Do you now understand who will stay here and who will leave?

Amaya asks her if she thinks this stupid match will let them have this house. I have the agreement which clearly states that this house is mine! Pack your bags and leave if you are done celebrating! Amaya looks at all the rooms. Tanya stops her from going to her room. Amaya taunts that she isn’t interested in staying in a servant room anyways. Tanya ignores her. Amaya tries to open Akhilesh’s room and asks Tanya to open the room. Tanya asks her if she thinks she will listen to her orders. Amaya breaks open the door with a kick. Tanya walks away. Amaya chooses Akhilesh’s room. Mishri steps inside the moment Amaya steps her foot in the room. I knew that you will choose this room. Amaya asks her if she can see future. Mishri denies. Amaya complains to Akhilesh. Your mad daughter is taking me somewhere. Stop her! Akhilesh tries to stop Mishri but in vain. I will prove it today that she is my Mapu. Kabir comes to Akhilesh’s room. Amaya is standing with her back to him. He closes the door behind him. Are you alright? He walks up to Amaya and notices her punishing herself in a similar manner as Mishri.
Mira tends to Mishri’s wound. Being stubborn wont change the truth. You got hurt in the process after all. Mishri says I cannot accept it that she isn’t my Mapu but someone else. Kabir asks Ira what she is doing. Move it aside. Ira says I deserve it for what I have done today. She recalls pushing Mishri and Pushpa away when they had tried to hug her. Flashback shows terrorists forcing Ira to make sure the Minister dies during his operation. Ira refuses but gives in when the terrorists target her family. Ira meets the main terrorist and requests him not to make her do all this. I am a doctor and I have sworn to save people. They take her to the operation theatre. Main guy realises that she looks just like Gunjan. Our work can happen quickly now. He calls Gunjan and tells her to come from the back door. No one should recognize you. Wear the uniform of nurse. She agrees. Gunjan
steps out of the van.
Ira says I was going to operate upon Minister Sahay but they wanted me to kill him during the operation. I was shocked hearing it but I was more stunned when I saw Gunjan.
Flashback:
Ira performs the surgery successfully. I wonder how the terrorists had a change of heart suddenly. They wanted to kill him. Gunjan and the terrorists enter in the operation theatre. The main guy explains that they saved the Minister so someone can replace her. Ira finds it strange. Gunjan steps forward and removes her mask. Ira is stunned to see her. Gunjan tells Ira there wont be much difficulty. I will take your place now. I will receive the bravery award in your place and a blast will happen during that function. Lot many ministers will die at once! Ira refuses to let it happen. One of the terrorists hit her on her head. She falls unconscious. Gunjan takes Ira’s place. They hide her under a trolley.
Present:
Ira says Akhilesh risked his life to save my life. He did not know that the one he saved was my lookalike Gunjan.
Flashback:
Akhilesh knocks at the door. The main guy tells Gunjan to talk / behave like Ira. You will tell the person that the operation was successful. Akhilesh lies to the main terrorist that he is his ally. The main guy tells Akhilesh that Ira saved minister. Akhilesh points knife at Gunjan’s neck and takes her with him. The main guy had recognized Akhilesh so he let him play his part. He tells his junior to take Ira with him. I will let everyone else believe it for now that Ira has ruined our plan.
Present:
Akhilesh dint know that I was being shifted somewhere else in my unconscious state.
Flashback:
The terrorists discuss that the bomb will explode very soon now. No one will be able to save anyone!
Present:
Kabir says Akhilesh thought he had saved you but he had instead saved your lookalike. Ira nods. Gunjan pretended to have lost her memory initially. The main guy kept coming to the house as her doctor and supplied her all the info about my family.
Flashback:
The main terrorist sends Akhilesh outside on the pretext of buying medicines and stays with Gunjan. He hands her a file which contains info of every single member of Pandey family so she can know everything about this family in detail. There is no scope of error now.
Present:
Ira says the boss kept coming here stealthily to check on Gunjan. I wish someone had seen him. I wouldn’t have to do this today just to meet my family!
Flashback:
Gunjan tells her boss not to keep visiting her often. Everyone is so irritating in this family. That girl does not leave me even for a second. He nods. She tells him to go before someone sees him. I will update myself fully before that happens.
Present:
Kabir says how someone can be so ruthless. Where had they kept you? She shares that she was held captive in a secluded place. I felt so helpless when they told me what they had done with my family. I shouted, cried, fought but it was too late!
Flashback:
The main guy wakes Ira by throwing water on her. He tells her her story and how he switched Gunjan with Ira. He also tells her his plan. She requests him not to do all this. Please let me go. He points out that the world will believe her to be a terrorist. You will do that blast! She tells him to think whatever he wants to. Do whatever you want to. Someone may believe or not but I am sure Akhilesh will never believe that the girl living in that house is Ira! I trust him completely. He gives her an injection. She falls unconscious murmuring that she trusts Akhilesh completely.
Present:
Ira says I was alive with a hope that Akhilesh might feel that the girl at home is someone else and not me! As far as I know him, he must be sure that something is wrong!
Flashback:
Akhilesh tries coming closer to Gunjan but she pushes him away. He also asks her her favourite colour. Her reply makes him alert.
Present:
Ira says Mishri too must have felt something strange.
Flashback:
Gunjan scolds Mishri when she touches the bag containing the bag. Akhilesh asks her what is inside the bag. Gunjan lies that it is related to hospital stuff. Mishri denies but Gunjan argues with her and walks away.
Present:
I also knew that Gunjan will somehow win over all the odds. She would win over them all. I couldn’t do anything. Kabir asks her what happened next. She says the main day came. Terrorists had locked me nearby. Gunjan came to meet her allies few hours before the event.
Flashback:
The main guy asks Gunjan if she is ready to blow everyone’s mind. We have to teach a lesson to everyone. Ira tells them to fear God. Don’t do this. Gunjan says I don’t know what fear is or I wouldn’t have been wearing that bomb belt around my wait.
Present:
Ira says I couldn’t let anything happen to my family and so many innocents.
Ira says I couldn’t keep quiet anymore. I somehow managed to escape from the hideout.
Flashback:
Ira fools a terrorist and hits him on his head.
Present:
I saw Akhilesh near the room when I was getting out. He had a doubt on them maybe. I thought he will find me but maybe something else was written in our fate. I was caught by that terrorist before Akhilesh could come.
Flashback:
The terrorist catches hold of Akhilesh. Someone knocks on the door. The terrorist covers Ira’s mouth before she can shout for help. He takes her to a corner and gives her an injection. She passes out.
Ira says I thought Akhilesh would understand that it isn’t Ira who is staying with him. He still feels I tried to blow that bomb under the pressure of terrorists.
Akhilesh
is looking at Ira’s photo. This woman just looks like Ira. It cannot be Ira! I still remember the day I shot you! Even if that is a lie and Ira has survived, she will still not behave this way with us! He recalls all that happened today. Tu Mera Humdard Hai song plays in the background as he looks at Ira’s photo emotionally. He gets distracted hearing Mishri, Vansh and Pushpa’s voice. They are playing excitedly shouting that Ira is finally back. Vansh tells Mishri that God has heard your prayers. Your Mapu hasn’t become a star. She is still alive. Akhilesh recalls how rude and unconcerned Amaya had been during the day. He tells the kids to stop.
Ira says Akhilesh tried his best to talk Gunjan out of her plan. Finally the moment came when he took out his gun to shoot Gunjan. It must be so difficult for him to shoot his Ira. Maybe this is why he missed his bullet. Kabir asks her how Gunjan died if Akhilesh dint hit her. Ira says the terrorist was hiding nearby and he shot at her bullet belt. Akhilesh thinks he shot her.
Flashback:
Akhilesh misses the shot but Gunjan is shot by the terrorist. Akhilesh shouts Ira’s name.
Present:
Ira says you saw Akhilesh’s condition. He must be dying from inside thinking that he killed the one he loved the most in his life. Wish I could tell him that Gunjan dint die from his bullet. Kabir asks her how she knows this truth. Ira replies that the main guy returned to the hideout after the bomb blast. He told me that entire world will blame me for this blast. He set a bomb in the hideout. A blast happened. maybe it was my mother’s blessing or my daughter’s prayers that I escaped. You came there like an angel and saved me. I will forever be indebted to you for this. Your one hand stopped working permanently when the wall fell over your hand during that incident. I feel so guilty seeing you this way every day. Kabir calls it his duty. What would I have said to Lali Ma after my death then? Akhilesh too would have done the same. Why dint you tell the truth to your family after everything? Ira replies that she came back after a few days but the news flashed my name as a terrorist on every channel. People were so angry. They threw stones at our house and burnt our company! Everything was finished. My family members couldn’t get out of the house. Moti Ba lost her mental balance. No one would have believed me back then even if I had tried. My family’s life would have been in risk yet again. It was better to go away from my family at that moment. I couldn’t see everyone hating me.
Akhilesh tells the kids to stop. the woman in the house is neither Ira nor your Mapu. Mishri insists that it is her Mapu. Akhilesh reasons that only the face is same. She does not value relations like Ira. She does not have feelings or heart like Ira. Pushpa says I am sure it is Mishri’s Mapu. Vansh and Mishri second her. Akhilesh decides to prove it today that it is neither Mishri’s Mapu nor his Ira.
Kabir tells Ira she is assuming this. Your family cannot hate you ever! Ira says that time was very difficult for me. I thought of committing suicide many times but you supported me throughout that time. You even took me to US. I couldn’t control myself after knowing about my family’s condition. The relations have gone haywire. I couldn’t stop myself. I also knew that Adi and Tanya are trying to sell the house and flee from here. I decided to come to this house as your wife, Amaya. Whatever I did or said today was to make sure that no one doubts my identity. Kabir asks her if she thinks their plan was successful. She says I hope so.
Akhilesh cuts his finger shocking Vansh, Mishri and Pushpa. Pushpa makes him sit down and tends to his wound. Mishri also asks him why he did this. Pushpa tells Akhilesh not to do this ever again or she wont let him play with her toys ever again. It pains me to see you thus. A song plays in the background as Akhilesh looks at his mother. I promise you. She tells him to rest. She goes to bring turmeric milk for him. Akhilesh asks Mishri if she saw his Amma’s reaction. She isn’t mentally stable yet she couldn’t see her kid in pain. This is a mother’s love. That woman walked away when Mishri’s hand was burning. Listen to it very carefully. This woman is neither Mishri’s Mapu nor my Ira. Ira is dead. I am responsible for her death. He walks away.
Kabir says I accept your story as true. What if this family begins to believe it that you are Amaya? You came here but how will you help everyone get back on their feet? What if they all begin to hate you? She shows the book of Mahabharata. I have read this 10 times in the last one month. Lord Krishna says that we have to go against our loved ones for their well being sometimes. I know that one reads Ramayana at home but the lessons from Mahabharata will help me in my fight. She recites a shloka. I will become the villain to mend the relation between the father and daughter. I will fix Moti Ba. Akhilesh is broken completely. He hurts himself daily and considers himself a loser. I will make him capable enough to buy this house back from me. I will fill so much poison in everyone’s lives that everyone will have to come together to fix everything to cut that poison forgetting their issues. That will be my victory! I will have to fall in Akhilesh’s eyes to fix his broken heart.
Mishri is in house temple. Bapu isn’t ready to accept my Mapu. It wont be right if he will keep hurting himself like this. Vansh assures her that they will pacify Akhilesh. Pushpa asks Mishri to choose one of her fingers. Mishri tells her against it but Pushpa convinces her. Mishri chooses a finger. Pushpa says it means Akhilesh is right. That woman isn’t your Mapu! I believe him now. He is right. Vansh calls it unfair.
