Karan and Preeta arrive at the police station, but a criminal suddenly runs out. Karan protects Preeta from the man and remembers all the times he has saved her. They share an emotional eyelock, and Preeta tells him that she remembers everything. Karan is shocked by her words. She reminds him that he always comes to her rescue whenever she is in trouble and thanks him for protecting her. Karan realises that she is talking about what just happened and assures her that he will always protect her. They then enter the police station.

Meanwhile, Shanaya spots Varun at the hospital and remembers how Alia asked her to call him. She wonders if Alia was referring to their Varun but quickly dismisses the thought, saying it is impossible. Shanaya calls Varun, who notices her and tries to leave. However, he is shocked when he sees Kavya. Kavya questions why he lied about being at the office. Shanaya realises that something is wrong between Varun and Kavya and quietly walks away.
At the police station, Shaurya remembers how Anshuman questioned him about Karan and Preeta’s relationship. Preeta informs the police inspector that she has come to file a complaint against Anshuman for attempting to kill Rajveer. Karan also files a complaint against Anshuman for attacking him. Shaurya overhears their conversation, while a constable also hears everything and immediately calls Anshuman to inform him. Shaurya asks the police inspector for permission to meet Karan, and the inspector allows it. Preeta asks Karan to remain calm because Shaurya needs his support at this time.
Meanwhile, Varun tells Kavya that he came to the hospital with a client. He gets angry at her for doubting him and walks away. Kavya is confused by his behaviour. She then receives a call from Preeta and learns that they have filed a complaint against Anshuman. Preeta notices that Kavya is unusually quiet and asks what is wrong. Kavya explains everything that happened with Varun. Preeta tells her not to worry and promises to speak to him. Kavya admits that she does not understand what is happening. Shanaya then approaches her and shares what she knows about Alia. Preeta overhears their conversation and wonders why Varun lied to Kavya.
Shaurya tells Karan that Anshuman claimed Karan cares more about Rajveer than himself. He also says he knows Karan rejected Anshuman’s offer. Shaurya further reveals that Anshuman questioned him about Karan and Preeta’s relationship. Karan gets angry and explains how Anshuman tried to misbehave with Preeta. He tells Shaurya that he is doing everything possible to get closer to him, but Shaurya keeps pushing him away by trusting other people. Karan advises him to learn to trust the people who love him. He admits that Shaurya has disappointed him and walks away. Shaurya then threatens to kill Anshuman once he is released. Preeta asks Karan what he discussed with Shaurya. Karan tells her to go home and rest, promising to drop her there.
Elsewhere, Rajveer and Palki search for Pradeep’s address in a register. Palki tells Rajveer that Karan is not the bad person he believes him to be. Rajveer eventually finds Pradeep’s address. Meanwhile, Kavya cries as she remembers how Varun blamed her, but she quickly wipes her tears when she hears Shanaya approaching. Shanaya asks where Rajveer and Palki are. Rajveer tells them that he will meet them later and leaves. Palki informs Shanaya and Kavya that Rajveer has found some evidence. She then notices Kavya’s mood and asks what is wrong. Kavya tells her about her problem with Varun. Palki advises her not to be upset, suggesting that Varun may have been stressed and shouted at her because of it. Shanaya also asks Kavya to relax. They later leave, but Palki suspects that Varun is definitely hiding something from Kavya.
Rajveer arrives at Pradeep’s house, but Pradeep tries to escape after seeing him. Rajveer catches him and demands to know why he came to kill him. Pradeep pretends that he knows nothing about the matter. However, Rajveer tells him that he saw everything in the CCTV footage. He beats Pradeep and demands the truth.
Pradeep finally reveals that Anshuman wanted to kill Rajveer. He also admits that he knows Rajveer is Karan and Preeta’s son but chose not to tell anyone. Pradeep then escapes. Anshuman overhears their conversation and tells Rajveer that Karan is very cunning. He questions why Rajveer is helping Karan and says no one deserves to have a son like him. He also claims that he feels sorry for Preeta before walking away.
Meanwhile, Karan drops Preeta off at home and asks her to go inside so he can leave peacefully. Preeta reminds him that she is not a child. When Karan hears the door opening, he quickly leaves. Palki opens the door and tells Preeta that she has been waiting for her. She then informs Preeta about what happened between Kavya and Varun, adding that she suspects Varun is hiding something from Kavya.
Back at the police station, Anshuman tells Shaurya that he is willing to withdraw the case if Shaurya gives him something in return. Shaurya asks whether Preeta came to meet him. Anshuman admits that she visited him and that Karan arrived afterward and beat him up. Shaurya gets furious and attacks Anshuman. Anshuman calls the constables for help, and they manage to rescue him from Shaurya. Anshuman then leaves.
Meanwhile, Rajveer remembers Anshuman’s words and goes to the Luthra house. He confronts Karan and accuses him of ruining his life. Rajveer claims that Karan gave him blood just to manipulate him and questions why he saved him. Karan finally reveals that he saved Rajveer because he is his son. Rajveer is left shocked by the revelation.
Elsewhere, Roma scolds Varun for going to the hospital with Alia. Varun assures her that nobody saw him with Alia. Roma tells him that he should not have shouted at Kavya because she might call off their wedding. She asks him to call Kavya and apologise. Varun calls Kavya and says he is sorry. Kavya warns him not to repeat his behaviour. He thanks her for forgiving him, and she tells him that she will complain to her brothers if he does it again. Varun remembers the threats from Shaurya and Rajveer before ending the call.
