Nidhi orders Preeta to leave the Luthra house, but Preeta questions how she can treat her that way. She explains that she is not there as a guest but as a doctor, and Nidhi cannot stop her from treating Dadi. Preeta then goes to attend to Dadi. Nidhi questions how the family can allow Preeta to treat Dadi when Shaurya is in jail because of her. Karan immediately asks Nidhi to stop blaming Preeta.

Preeta asks Kavya to bring the first-aid box. Nidhi reminds Karan that he went to the hospital to see Rajveer instead of arranging bail for Shaurya. Karan tells her not to judge him, but Nidhi insists that he only cares about Rajveer and Preeta. Preeta applies ointment to Dadi’s injured leg before going inside to get an injection. Karan warns Nidhi not to blame Preeta for everything.
When Preeta returns with the injection, Kavya approaches her and apologizes for Nidhi’s behaviour. She admits that Nidhi was wrong to treat Preeta that way. Preeta says she understands Nidhi’s situation because nobody can take a mother’s place. Kavya then shares her own worries, explaining that Varun is not answering her calls even though she desperately needs him. Preeta suggests that Varun might be busy or unaware of what is happening in the Luthra family. She promises to scold him when she sees him and hugs Kavya as the song “Maa Meri” plays in the background.
Meanwhile, Nidhi tells Karan that she has tolerated the injustice done to her, but she will not accept Shaurya being treated unfairly. She insists that Karan must choose Shaurya over Rajveer this time because Shaurya is in jail because of Rajveer. She then walks inside. Karan tells Mahesh that Nidhi is wrong and is overreacting, but Mahesh reminds him that they have many things to deal with and takes him away.
Nidhi later confronts Preeta again and orders her to leave. She says she does not care if Preeta thinks she is insecure, adding that the Luthras do not care about Shaurya, which is why he is still behind bars. Preeta tries to explain that things are not as Nidhi believes, but Nidhi asks her to stay away from the Luthra family and walks inside.
Aarohi advises Preeta to arrange another doctor for Dadi because she fears Nidhi might attempt suicide again. Preeta agrees to ask Varsha to treat Dadi. Aarohi goes inside, and Preeta explains the arrangement to Kavya before leaving.
Kavya introduces Varsha to the Luthra ladies, and Rakhi appreciates Preeta for helping them. Dadi soon wakes up and cries out in pain. Varsha begins treating her, but Kareena complains that Dadi needs Preeta and Preeta is not there. Rakhi explains that Preeta left because of Nidhi, but Kareena insists that Preeta was wrong to leave.
Meanwhile, Nidhi tells Aarohi that she will not allow Karan to choose Rajveer over Shaurya. She declares that if Karan refuses to give her the rights she deserves, she will take them herself.
At the police station, Preeta meets Shaurya and reassures him that everything will be fine. Shaurya explains that he only went to Anshuman to learn the truth, but Anshuman manipulated the situation and made him look guilty. Preeta promises that she will not allow anything wrong to happen to him, explaining that she also wants to protect him as a mother. Shaurya asks her not to seek help from Karan, and Preeta agrees.
Later, Dadi continues crying in pain. Rakhi asks how she is feeling, and Dadi says that her leg still hurts. Rakhi gives her a painkiller. Kritika says she cannot even call Preeta because of Nidhi’s behaviour. She points out that Preeta still cares about the family even though she has lost her memories and no longer remembers them.
Dadi reminds Kritika that Preeta left her children and Nidhi was the one who took care of them. She adds that she understands why Nidhi reacted that way because Shaurya is in jail. However, Kritika insists that Nidhi was wrong. Rakhi agrees, explaining that Nidhi cannot decide who should treat Dadi because Preeta understands Dadi’s medical condition better than anyone else.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Palki tells Rajveer that he can go home that day. Rajveer reflects on how peaceful his life was before he learned the truth about everything, explaining that his life has become complicated since then. Palki is confused by his words.
Varsha approaches them and asks about Preeta. After spotting Preeta, she explains that Dadi is still in pain and her condition is not good. She asks Preeta to treat Dadi, prompting Preeta to decide to return to the Luthra house. Rajveer sees Preeta leaving and tells Palki that she is going back to the Luthra house.
At the police station, Nidhi learns that Preeta has met Shaurya. She warns Shaurya to be careful of people like Preeta. Aarohi then tells Shaurya that he does not know what has been happening in the Luthra house. She claims that the Luthras, especially Karan, do not care about him. Aarohi reveals that Karan hid Shaurya’s arrest from the family and that Nidhi tried to stop Preeta from entering the house, but nobody supported her. Shaurya asks what Preeta did wrong.
Nidhi blames Preeta for everything and says she is glad Shaurya called her because she would otherwise never have known about his arrest. She insists that Karan cares about Rajveer rather than Shaurya and claims to understand how Shaurya feels about his father giving Rajveer the love and attention that should have been his. Aarohi adds that Nidhi stood up for Shaurya in front of the Luthras. Nidhi reassures Shaurya that she will arrange his bail and tells him not to worry.
Shaurya declares that Karan will regret giving Rajveer his share of love and attention. Nidhi asks him to take care of himself before leaving.
Meanwhile, Karan and Mahesh meet Anshuman. Mahesh asks Anshuman to forgive Shaurya, while Karan insists that Shaurya did nothing wrong and that Anshuman misunderstood him. Mahesh apologizes to Anshuman on Shaurya’s behalf and requests that he withdraw the case. However, Anshuman refuses, stating that the law will take its course. He adds that he needs to go to the office to secure the Sembur project. Karan becomes angry and scolds him.
Back at the Luthra house, Rakhi tells Kareena that Dadi is still in pain. Kareena warns Rakhi not to call Preeta, insisting that Dadi is overreacting. However, Preeta soon arrives at the house. Rakhi sees her and realizes that she has returned to help Dadi. As Dadi cries out in pain, Preeta enters her room and asks her not to tell anyone that she is there.
