Rishi tells Jhanak that everything was his mistake. Jhanak says things should not have happened that way and reminds him that he hurt her emotionally. Rishi assures her that he will try to win her heart. Abhimanyu welcomes Aditi’s family. Indumati says there must be good news for everyone to have gathered. Jhanak arrives and greets everyone. Bablu announces that Aditi’s marriage has been fixed, making everyone happy. When Dritimaan asks who the groom is, Bablu reveals that it is Koushik. Jhanak asks Rishi whether he is fine, and he tells her that he is happy for Aditi.

Koushik arrives and greets everyone. He acknowledges the misunderstandings between Rishi, Aditi, and Jhanak but says he does not want anything like that to happen again. He suggests that they close that chapter for everyone’s happiness, and Rishi agrees. Rishi says Aditi is a good girl and that he is happy for her. Koushik tells Jhanak that she can consider him her elder brother, making her happy. He then tells Rishi that they are relatives now, and Rishi congratulates him.
The next day, Aniruddh asks Arshi not to feel nervous. Arshi says Aditi is happy with Koushik and that it would have been better if Aditi had realised her feelings earlier. Aniruddh asks her to forget the past and says he is happy with the decision. He reveals that Aditi approached Koushik first to discuss the marriage. Aniruddh then asks Anjana and Bablu to begin the Aashirwad ceremony. They perform the ritual and bless Aditi and Koushik, while Anjana shares some advice about married life with the couple.
Rishi’s family arrives, and Aniruddh welcomes them. Anjana remarks that they have arrived on time. Aditi asks whether Rishi is not coming, and Tanushri explains that he will come directly from the office. Aniruddh asks Dadabhai to bless the couple. Dadabhai tells Aditi and Koushik that married life is not a battlefield before blessing them. Rishi finally arrives and apologises for being late. Aditi recalls the moments she shared with him, while Koushik looks at Aditi and Jhanak looks at Rishi. One of the guests questions why Aditi’s former husband is attending the ceremony and claims that society will not accept it. Aniruddh asks her to stop, but she insists that Rishi’s presence is an ill omen because he and Aditi were once married. She claims that she does not intend to insult anyone.
Tanushri suggests that they leave, but Sanjhbati points out that they have done nothing wrong. Putul adds that it is only one person’s opinion, while Dadabhai insists that they cannot leave just like that. Aniruddh declares that Jhanak is his daughter and Rishi is his son-in-law. Jhanak reminds everyone that some people seem to forget she is also a daughter of the house and that Rishi was invited to the ceremony. She insists that nobody should insult him.
Abhimanyu tells Aniruddh that they cannot stay after Rishi has been insulted. The guest defends herself, claiming that she has only spoken the truth and did not intend to insult anyone. Sanjhbati asks everyone not to drag the matter further. Putul points out that Aditi and her family have not disrespected them, so there is no reason to leave. Dadabhai adds that broken relationships should not be judged. Jhanak tells Rishi that she knows he is hurt but assures him that they love and respect him. Rishi smiles at her, and Putul encourages everyone to continue the ceremony.
The priest calls Aniruddh and Arshi to bless the couple, but Koushik points out that Rishi has not blessed them yet. Rishi questions the need for it, but Koushik says they cannot pretend the past never happened. He believes they must acknowledge it before moving forward and asks Rishi to bless the couple. Aditi questions what Koushik is doing, but he explains that he wants what is best for everyone. Jhanak agrees that Rishi should bless them, and Tanushri supports her.
Rishi blesses Koushik and Aditi and offers them advice about marriage. He asks Koushik to take good care of Aditi. Aditi thanks Rishi and apologises to him, but he tells her that everything is fine. Putul then asks everyone to stop the emotional discussions, and Aniruddh and Arshi proceed to bless the couple.
The next day, a guest asks Anjana whether Arshi is still Aniruddh’s wife. Anjana questions why that matters, while Jhanak says that Arshi being Aditi’s mother is enough. The guest dismisses Jhanak’s understanding of the situation, claiming that although Aniruddh said he married Nutan, nobody witnessed the marriage. She also mentions Jhanak’s court battle and insists that society needs proof of everything. Anjana asks her to stop, but the guest maintains that she is only speaking the truth.
Jhanak points out that society has treated her unfairly. The guest then declares that Arshi should not touch the rasam ki haldi that day and questions whether Jhanak learnt nothing from her mother. Jhanak demands to know what the guests know about Nutan and scolds them for speaking about her mother. The guest insults Jhanak’s upbringing, claiming that she failed to understand her own mother. Aniruddh and Arshi arrive and ask what is happening. The guest argues that Aniruddh and Arshi are divorced, so Arshi cannot participate in the ritual. Jhanak tells her not to interfere in their family matters.
The guest then tells Aniruddh that she has heard many rumours about him and Nutan and directly asks whether he married Nutan. Jhanak says she cannot bear to hear such comments. Aditi questions why Arshi cannot participate in the ritual when she is still her mother. Aniruddh firmly declares that Arshi is Aditi’s mother and nobody can come between them.
Just then, a man arrives and asks Aniruddh whether he remembers Tejas. He explains that after Aniruddh and Nutan got married, they visited a new restaurant where their photograph was taken. He has come to give Aniruddh the photograph. Aniruddh becomes emotional when he sees the picture of himself and Nutan, and memories of their past come flooding back. The man thanks Aniruddh for saving Nutan from Tejas, while Aniruddh thanks him for bringing the photograph. Jhanak also becomes emotional upon seeing the picture.
