Luisa goes to ask about Hernan at the Cancer hospital where Brenda was confined because she had seen him. She also wanted to know about Brenda but the nurse told her that Brenda had just passed away so it was not the right time for her to see the family.
Mum’s baby (the woman who helped Luisa and Mayumi) was discharged from the Cancer hospital after her tumor was removed. (Luisa got to meet Brenda since she had accompanied Mum’s baby there). Mayumi, Luisa, and Sasha brought her home but Hernan saw them outside as they were boarding a taxi.
He asked the nurse if Luisa was admitted there but the nurse said there was not a patient by that name. Isabelle asked Hernan who he was looking for but he said it was nothing. He instead asked her to go home with him so that she could help choose Brenda’s clothes.
During Brenda’s wake, Isabelle overheard Hernan talking about looking for Luisa and Mayumi. She got upset with him thinking that Hernan would replace her mother with Brenda. Hernan told her that she understood since the only reason he was looking for Luisa was to repay a debt he owed Mario.
Mayumi had an interview at Isabelle’s company as a lab analyst. A guy on a motorbike ruined her clothes by splashing her with mud but she was able to change in time for the interview. When she arrived, Isabelle was the interviewer and she was able to recognize Mayumi from the last time they met. She accused Mayumi of being a con artist since she was a street vendor and wasn’t qualified for the position. Mayumi asked Isabelle to check her resume but she refused to do it and told Mayumi to leave.
Mayumi was upset after leaving Isabelle’s office. When she was heading home, someone touched her inappropriately and she attacked him. She threw her shoes at him but he dodged so she threw a stone instead. The guy dodged again and the stone hit someone’s car. He called her crazy for going after her and left, leaving Mayumi to deal with the incident alone.
The car Mayumi hit belonged to Isabelle. When Isabelle found out, she accused Mayumi of trying to take revenge for the interview. She called the police and demanded for Mayumi pay 25,000 for damages. Mayumi was taken to the police station and called her mother to come to help her.
Hernan asked about the new applicant since she was highly recommended by HR. Isabelle’s secretary told her that Isabelle kicked her out but Hernan asked to look at her resume. He recognized her by her name and was glad that he finally found Mario’s family. Since Mayumi had her address listed, Hernan decided to visit her. On the way, Isabelle’s aunt called to tell her that they were at the police station since someone hit Isabelle’s car. She said that it was the girl from the interview so Hernan decided to go there.
When Luisa arrived, Isabelle was shocked to realize that the girl she fought with was Mayumi. Luisa tried to come up with the money to pay Isabelle but only managed to raise 18,000. Isabelle demanded the whole amount and insulted them both.
She also accused Luisa of trying to seduce her father so Mayumi defended her mother. They were fighting when Hernan arrived and offered to pay for the damages to Isabelle’s car. He also asked her to go home but Isabelle did not want to leave him with Luisa. Isabelle’s aunt however asked her not to worsen the situation.
Hernan was delighted to see Luisa and Mayumi after looking for them for a long time. He hugged them and expressed his joy in seeing them again. When Mayumi was released, Hernan offered to take them home but Luisa declined. Mayumi instead gave him her number and invited him to a party at their house the following day.
Isabelle was upset with everything that happened and asked to see her friend Francis (the guy who fought with Mayumi earlier). She told Francis what happened and he asked her what the girl looked like. Isabelle said it did not matter and instead asked him to go out for a drink with her. Francis said he had to go home so Isabelle asked him for a hug to comfort her.
