The Good Son on zee one Wednesday 12th April 2023 update, Episode starts with Ramesh telling Purva that Vedant had killed his first child. Purva is shocked and asks him not to accuse him big. Dadi asks Ramesh to stop it. Gomti asks why is he digging the past and asks him to end the matter. Ramesh says Gudadi lal is as dirty as that day for me. Manjula breaks down and cries. Purva asks Dadi if this is lie?

She says if someone dies in his hospital then he feels that it is his defeat. Gomti says you might think him as the God, but he is a murderer. Dadi says it was just an accident. Purva asks him to tell everything. Dadi says when Vedant’s Dada ji brought him home, he was everyone’s favorite. Manjula used to take care of him. A fb is shown, Ramesh melts down after few days and accepted Vedant. He takes little Vedant in his lap and hugs him. Manjula and Dadi
are happy. Soon Manjula got pregnant and delivered a baby boy. Ramesh and Manjula’s family was completed. She says the first three years after baby’s birth, they were very happy. The baby boy Bittu falls down from the stairs and dies. Ramesh sees Vedant standing behind and beats him badly. He calls him inauspicious and asks him to be in the corner. Dadi says Ramesh’s hatred increased with time. Gomti tells that Vedant did a big sin and tells that Ramesh is great to let him stay here. Purva says Vedant will get love and support from her. Dadi asks Purva to give him love not for sympathy. She asks her not to talk to him about this.
Purva thinks Vedant forgets everything and forgives his family. She gets his message that he has to go to Mumbai for an emergency. She then calls Pankhudi and asks what is she doing? Pankhudi says she is alone. Purva says I will come there to stay with you. Pankhudi says no and asks her to be there. Purva says she is very scared about that drugs incident. Pankhudi says she is fine and ends the call. She checks her baggage and thinks where did she forget the medicine/drugs. She thinks to get that drugs anyhow, else she will be caught.
Sumiti is walking and collides with Purva in the night. She says I thought to find out from where did that drugs come in the house. Purva says she will find out. She thinks she didn’t think from where it came? She goes to Sanju’s room and checks for the drugs bottle. Pankhudi silently comes to Sanjeevani Sadan. Her phone beeps. Sumiti gets alerted and thinks what was that sound. Pankhudi hides behind the sofa. Purva checks drugs in Sanju’s room. Pankhudi silently runs and goes to her room. Sumiti thinks there must be drugs dealer or thief. Pankhudi thinks where did she keep the medicine/drugs. Purva thinks she couldn’t get anything in Sanju’s room, and thinks to check in Pankhudi’s room. Pankhudi gets the packet and thinks to destroy it. Purva comes just then and checks in the drawer. She thinks she shall check in every corner. Pankhudi runs out of room and sees Gomti. She runs and hides in Sanju’s room. She thinks to hide the medicine in his room and thinks his destiny is bad. Ramesh, Gomti, Dadi and others come outside Sanju’s room. Pankhudi falls on Sanju. Sanju wakes up and gets happy.
Pankhudi runs to bathroom. Dadi, Ramesh and others come inside. Gomti says thief entered your room. Sanju says Pankhudi came to meet me, and tells that she also can’t leave without each other and will marry soon. Purva is shocked. Sanju knocks on the door and asks her to come out. Purva asks if she is here, and asks her to come out. Pankhudi thinks what to do with the drugs and makes the tablets go in the wash basin drain. Purva gives her swear and asks her to come out. Pankhudi comes out. Everyone is shocked to see her.
Purva asking Pankhudi what is she doing in Sanju’s room at this time. Gomti remarks on Pankhudi. Sanju says we love each other and she came to see me. Purva asks Pankhudi to say and says I beg infront of you. Ramesh says now truth is out. She says we can’t have bad values. Purva is about to slap Pankhudi. Sanju stops holding her hand. Purva asks her to tell if she came with her wish. Pankhudi nods yes. Ramesh smiles. Sanju also smiles. Purva asks didn’t you think about your self respect and my respect. Sumiti says our Radhika will not do this thing. Ramesh says she is of a respectable family. Gomti says this is the result of bad upbringing. Purva tells that whatever Pankhudi is doing today is not because of upbringing and childhood. She tells that she don’t like Sanju and
her affair and asks her to stay away from her house. Pankhudi says I will go, but listen to me. Purva slaps her.
She says you have ruined my respect and asks when you ruined it, that time you didn’t think about me and our parents and Nani. She says Vedant was right, you will stay away from Sanju and this house. She says nobody trusts such girls who blame guys and then she is found in the man’s room. She says I will drop you. Pankhudi says I will go. Purva says I can’t raise my head infront of everyone. Ramesh tells Dadi that this is the result of bringing anyone to house. Sanju sings song happily….Narendra says Sanju has fallen more in love. Ramesh says he won’t let anything wrong happen with Sanju.
Purva drops Pankhudi to the staff quarters and asks her to go to room. Pankhudi asks her to listen. Pura says I don’t want and asks her to go. She calls Vedant and his phone is off. She gets worried. She comes home and thinks of everyone snide remarks. She looks at Vedant’s pic and thinks why you are not here. She says I need you a lot, come back soon. She gets sorry message from Pankhudi.
Next day, Sanju goes to hospital to meet Pankhudi and hugs her. It turns out to be his dream. He calls her, but she doesn’t pick his call. Sanju messages her I love you. He then thinks to talk to her directly. Radhika chooses saree for Dadi. Dadi asks her to select for herself. She then asks Purva to check the saree on her. She tries saree on her and tells that it is good. Manjula says she will make Malpua. Dadi says she makes good Malpua.
Sanju comes to staff quarters to meet Pankhudi. Pankhudi asks why did he come to meet her after whatever happened yesterday. He plays song on his mobile and dances, presenting bouquet to her. Purva comes there and asks him to come. Sanju says this house is of Tripathi, I am Tripathi. Purva asks him to go. Sanju tells bye and tells that he will come again. Purva asks why are you bearing him and his doings. Pankhudi says I am not answerable to you and tells that she will become Tripathi family bahu anyhow. Purva says didn’t you see that they don’t bear us. Sanju comes back and tells that I am with you Pankhudi, and if anyone troubles you, then I am just a call away. Purva thinks Pankhudi’s choice can’t be Sanju and thinks if she really wants to marry him. Pankhudi says I don’t want to take your advice and can take my own decisions. She goes for rounds. Purva thinks she has to bring her back from this madness. Pankhudi thinks she will become Tripathi bahu by marrying Vedant.
Radhika talks to her lover Prateik and says I really love you. Dadi comes to Purva and asks if she was sharing Pankhudi’s worries with God. She tells that they shall get her married with the right guy. Purva says she has career to take care of.
