Anthony tells the police what he and Victor were arguing about on the night that he died. Anthony said that he had asked to resign from the company since he heard Victor telling another lawyer that he would take over his position. Victor told Anthony that he had misunderstood the situation since he was actually going to promote him. Anthony added that as siblings, it was normal for them to fight.
After the conversation, Alfonso went to the station to tell Romeo what Anthony said. They were convinced he was hiding something even though Anthony was the one who requested for Victor’s autopsy and even instigated the investigation on Victor’s death. They argued that Anthony might have done so to divert the investigation from himself so they decided to look at him as a person of interest.
Enzo did not have anyone to talk to since his friends weren’t free to go out so he went to see Hazel at the food stall she was working at. Hazel said she was busy and couldn’t talk so Enzo said he would buy everything they had and gave Hazel a bunch of notes. Hazel however took it as an insult and told Enzo to leave instead.
That evening, Arthur broke into Anthony’s house and stole some of his documents like Olivia had requested. He met with her the following day to give them to her and she saw some letters that Anthony had received from a foreign bank. She therefore concluded that Anthony had colluded with Villamanka to steal the company’s money from her.
Olivia went to see Villamanka at his hide out but she found that he had already escaped after hitting the man who was watching him. When she went home, she told Matilda what she had found out and Matilda said that they should report Anthony to the police. Olivia however said that she couldn’t do it because she had obtained the evidence using illegal means.
The police went to see Raquel and her family hoping to get more information about Anthony’s involvement in Victor’s death. Raquel and Joseph however told them that Anthony was incapable of doing such a thing.
At the office, Ernesto told Raquel that Anthony never got to meet with the people he was going to see on his trip and he couldn’t contact him. He wanted to know if she knew anything but Raquel said she hadn’t talked to Anthony. She also tried to contact him but he wasn’t available.
Justine visited Calvin at the mental hospital and he was delighted to see her. He also told her that he had only added a little poison to Victor’s drink so that he couldn’t leave the house and didn’t mean to kill him. Justine said she believed him adding that everything would work out. Olivia too and she was able to see how Justine made Calvin smile.
Justine received a call from home saying that their power had been cut out. Olivia decided to help her by giving her some money to take care of her expenses as well as her sister. Justine did not want to accept it but Olivia insisted since she had been helpful to Calvin.
Joseph went to Anthony’s house and found that it had been broken into. He called the police and Anthony’s housekeeper confirmed that some of Anthony’s things had been stolen. Everyone was trying to contact Anthony but no one was able to reach him.
Olivia went to the company and accused Raquel of teaming up with Anthony to steal the company’s money. Raquel however hit her for insulting her and Ernesto had to stop them from fighting. Raquel told Ernesto that whatever Olivia was accusing her of was not true.
Obet met up with Sabina and was able to apologize to her for the incident with Enzo. Sabina also had a conversation with Ernesto at home and he told her that he never meant to hurt her when he had tried to protect her.
Joseph met with Justine and she was able to tell him that Calvin only gave Victor a small amount of poison and did not intended on killing him. Joseph relayed the information to Hazel and they decided to help Calvin prove his innocence.
Calvin was worried since he was getting better which meant that his hearing would be reopened. Olivia however asked him not worry since she would work on looking for his father’s real killer.
Hazel went to get her stuff in the school locker and ran into Enzo. He was drinking at school so she took away the alcohol since it was not allowed in school. Enzo apologized for putting her on the spot when he visited her at work. He added he was sorry since he had lost her. Hazel told him it was his fault for pushing her away.
Later, Hazel saw Enzo heading home but she took his car keys away because he was drunk. Enzo tried to get them back but he ended up leaning on Hazel before he passed out. The other students saw them and took pictures of them.
