Sachin felt a bit left out so Savitri teased him playfully about his gentle jealousy yet he felt very proud of Sayali for her honesty and integrity. Before leaving for her village Savitri gave one last piece of advice. She remembered the cradle gifted during her last visit and openly wished for a great-grandson from her three grandsons which embarrassed all three couples and left them blushing. Sachin later reflected on the need to balance life before having a child but Savitri insisted he and Sayali should think about a baby now that they had their own room. This made Sachin extremely embarrassed and with her blessings Savitri finally left the Deshmukh house.
Sayali felt deep sympathy for Roshni since both Roshni and Tejas had lost their room and their tough situation weighed heavily on her heart. Sachin firmly advised her not to think too much about their suffering because they were simply facing the consequences of their own actions. As he held Sayali close he felt comfort and security in her presence and in an emotional moment he expressed gratitude believing she would never betray or abandon him. That night Tejas had a restless time and tossed and turned from stress and exhaustion while unable to sleep. Roshni watched him helplessly knowing she could not ease his pain. She quietly stepped out to the veranda murmuring to herself and questioning if she made the right choices in her marriage. Savitri saw Roshni’s troubled state and realized how much she had been enduring so she gently advised her to live a more responsible life in the family. Roshni felt emotional and thanked Savitri for her constant support.
At breakfast Sayali served everyone at the table but Renuka sat separately because she could not behave normally. Through a playful song Sachin reminded his mother how greed had influenced her choice of daughter-in-law. Renuka had once dreamed of a luxurious life with others’ support but those hopes were now shattered by Roshni’s truth. The family encouraged her to sit with them and eat regular food instead of isolating herself with diet meals. During the meal Riya directly asked Renuka if Roshni would still be her favorite daughter-in-law and Akash questioned her about her favorite son Tejas. These uncomfortable questions left Renuka deeply unsettled. Sayali and Savitri sarcastically reminded Renuka that she should now act normal with Sayali too. Sayali boldly said she was far better than the hypocritical Roshni and Sachin Riya and Akash supported her. Overwhelmed by guilt and fear Renuka suddenly started screaming as she realized her biggest worry of being questioned by everyone had come true.
Later that night Riya and Akash discussed Roshni and Tejas’s situation. Riya could not understand how Roshni behaved so normally while hiding so many secrets from the family. She believed Renuka was the root cause of all problems because she could never accept Roshni as a simple humble daughter-in-law.
