He asks his wife about Saraswatichandra, mentioning that he should be with his father at the party. Saraswatichandra’s introduction scene starts. Saraswatichandra does puja in the water while his friend Sunny waits near the car. Komal requests that Sunny bring Saraswatichandra to the party soon. Sunny asks him who he was praying for—his dad or his mother.
When Sunny calls him “Chandra,” he corrects him, asking to be called Saraswatichandra, saying it is his mother’s name, and no one can separate his mother’s name, Saraswati, from his. They leave for the party. He enters the event in traditional puja attire, shocking everyone. He touches his father’s feet, wishes him a happy birthday, and offers him prasad. His father appears angry and refuses to accept the prasad, so Saraswatichandra leaves.
Komal asks her husband not to be too strict with Saraswatichandra, but he tells her not to defend him blindly. He remarks that even Saraswati didn’t defend him like that, and they must act before Saraswatichandra accepts sanyas, as he had given a lecture on it at an ashram the previous week.
Saraswatichandra enters his room and stands in front of his mother’s photo, talking to her silently and offering prasad. With folded hands, he reflects that his mother’s anklet was close to his heart as it made him feel her presence. Komal enters his room and asks for prasad. He touches her feet, and she expresses how proud she felt about his actions for his father, assuring him that she will try to make his father understand. She encourages him to change his clothes and return to the party.
Saraswatichandra walks down the stairs in a formal suit, and all the girls at the party gaze at him in admiration.
In the party, Saraswatichandra greets the guests. Meanwhile, Komal’s friend comments on how all the girls are looking at her stepson, as he is the most eligible bachelor. Komal responds that he will remain a bachelor, and she intends to make sure of it.
Saraswatichandra’s father makes a special announcement, stating that his son has decided to get married. Everyone claps, and both Saraswatichandra and Komal are shocked.
He moves near his father and stands beside him as people take pictures. Later, in Komal’s room, she questions her husband about the unexpected announcement. He explains that he made the decision because Saraswatichandra’s devotion to puja is pulling him away from his career and personal life, and that a suitable life partner could help him find balance. Without it, he fears losing his son.
Komal agrees, saying they must find the best daughter-in-law for their best son. Her husband reveals that he has already chosen a girl—his friend Vidyachatur’s daughter, Kumud. He describes Kumud as bold and bright, the perfect match for Saraswatichandra’s contrasting personality.
His phone rings with a call from India. He informs his friend that he has made the formal announcement and looks forward to meeting his daughter.
The scene shifts to India. Vidyachatur tells his wife about the marriage proposal for their daughter from Laxmi’s family. The household reacts emotionally to the news, feeling grateful for the proposal. Kumud’s mother thanks Bhagwan for giving her daughter a proposal from Laxmi’s home.
Vidyachatur decides to discuss the proposal with Kumud. She is by the poolside at home, where her sister Kusum grabs her drawing and runs away, accidentally dropping a pearl into the pool. Kusum apologizes, saying it was her fault. She also tells Kumud about the marriage proposal, but Kumud doesn’t hear and dives into the pool to retrieve the pearl. Kusum calls her parents.
Vidyachatur reassures them that if Kumud has set her mind on retrieving the pearl, she will succeed. Kumud emerges from the pool with the pearl and proudly shows it to her father, recalling that he gave it to her when she passed her second grade. It was a token of his pride, and she couldn’t bear to lose it.
Vidyachatur tells her about the marriage proposal and suggests she should consider it. Kumud shakes her head, indicating her refusal, stating she wouldn’t even marry a prince if it meant being separated from her father. Kusum teases, saying her elder sister might refuse, but she is all for it.
Vidyachatur notices a drawing Kumud made of her ideal prince, and he remarks that Saraswatichandra will surpass her imagination.
In Kumud’s house, she talks to Kusum, insisting she won’t agree to marry “Mr. Dubai.” Kumud explains that her future husband must match her personality, be as daring, and equally educated—she is the only graduate in her village. Kusum argues that Mr. Laxmi Nandan Vyas is one of the world’s richest men, and Saraswatichandra is destined to marry a brave, intelligent girl like Kumud.
The next scene shows Saraswatichandra making a daring leap from a helicopter.
