Saras and Kumud On Starlife Thursday 9th October 2025 Update, Saras falls near the kitchen door. Everyone gets shocked and rushes to him, calling his name. Vidyachatur asks Kabir to call the doctor, and they quickly take Saras to his room. Kumud asks the doctor if everything is fine. The doctor says Saras needs bed rest. He had an operation a few days ago and it seems he is taking too much stress from work. The doctor advises them to give him medicines on time and make sure he does not take stress.

Vidyachatur says he told Saras to rest, but now he won’t let him go out until he is completely fine. Kabir agrees and says he and Danny will manage the work. Everyone leaves, telling Saras to rest. Kumud asks Saras to lie down and not get up. She reminds him that even though there is a lot of work at the factory and school, he must first think about his health.
She tells him she will get the medicines. As she turns, she notices a letter in her bag. The next morning, Kumud tells Kabir she has to go somewhere but asks him not to tell anyone she went alone. Kabir hesitates, but Kumud insists he go to Danny, so Kabir agrees and leaves. Kumud then gets another letter in the same place with a picture of a baby doll. The letter says it’s Saras’ valuable thing, and if she wants to see it, she should come to the given address, signed “your well-wisher.” Kumud wonders who is doing this and why. She thinks of telling Saras but remembers the doctor’s warning that he must not take stress. She decides to go and see for herself.

Kumud reaches the address and realizes it is a mental asylum. She hears a lady singing a lullaby and sees her holding the same doll as in the picture. Kumud checks the photo and walks closer to her. She is shocked to see her face and whispers Saraswati Maa. She remembers Badimaa’s words and thinks, how is this possible? Saras’ mother is alive? She smiles through tears, thinking Saras’ prayers have been answered—his mother is alive.
The doctor asks Kumud if she knows the woman. Kumud says yes, she is her mother-in-law, Saraswati Vyas, but asks how she ended up here. The doctor explains that Saraswati has been there since before he joined. She is unstable, but harmless, always playing with the doll she calls Chandra. He does not know who Chandra is. Kumud cups Saraswati’s face, smiling and crying.
Saras calls Kumud just then. She struggles to decide how to tell him where she is and whom she is seeing. She tells Saras she is out for some work and will return home soon. After the call, Kumud asks the doctor to let her take Saraswati home. The doctor refuses, saying she is not stable and no one has visited her in years. Kumud explains that they thought Saraswati had died by suicide. The doctor still insists it is not safe to take her out, but Kumud says she will visit daily and asks the doctor to call her if anything is needed.
Kumud sits beside Saraswati, thinking how no one believed this could happen, but Saras’ prayers have brought his mother back. She promises to take Saraswati to her son soon. She touches Saraswati’s feet for blessings and leaves in tears.
Meanwhile, Ghuman watches from the shadows, smiling. She worries Saraswati may recognize her but decides to take the risk. She approaches Saraswati and greets her. Saraswati smiles and says her son Chandra is sleeping. Ghuman tells her it is only a doll, her real son Saraswatichandra and her husband Laxminandan are far away from her. She then poisons Saraswati’s mind, saying the girl who just touched her feet is the one who separated her from her husband and son. She warns Saraswati not to trust Kumud, claiming she is very bad and will take her Chandra away. Saraswati gets worried and says she won’t let anything happen to her son.
Elsewhere, Avinash tells Anushka how much he likes Kabir, calling him a superhero and his best friend. He says he doesn’t want to return to the hostel and suggests Anushka marry Kabir so he can stay with them. She laughs it off, saying he is crazy, but Avinash insists she won’t get a better husband. After he leaves, Anushka thinks sadly about how she once dreamt of being with Kabir but knows it can’t be fulfilled. Kabir overhears and thinks Anushka doesn’t love him. He feels their relationship ended before it even began.
Saras calls Kumud again, worried because her phone is off. When Kumud finally comes home, she debates whether to tell Saras about his mother. Saras asks where she was and why she didn’t call. She says her phone battery was dead. Saras scolds her for worrying him, but she tries to calm him. He tells her that when he lost his memory, she spent time with him, but now that he has recovered, she doesn’t. He acts annoyed, and she apologizes, saying she won’t do it again.
Saras asks where she went, but she avoids the question. He teases her about a surprise and notices she is crying. She thinks to herself that his mother has returned. Saras keeps pressing her, but she insists she will tell him at the right time. She asks if he trusts her, and he says more than himself. He agrees to wait. She leaves, and Saras wonders what secret is making her cry.
COMING UP
Kumud comes to meet Saraswati, but the nurse stops her. The nurse says Saraswati was moved to another ward because she claimed her food was poisoned and accused Kumud of mixing it.
