Bari Rani Maa assures Kaal if Raaj Mata and Gayatri’s daughters are alive and in Amirkot, they will soon be killed. Raaj Mata was collecting her savings from across the home when the guards break into their house. Rani was crying in the living hall, one of the guard recognizes her to be a servant at palace. He then looks around and says she isn’t the one they are looking for.

Raaj Mata recalls Lakhan’s promise that Bari Rani Maa would never suspect Rani just because she stays in front of her eyes. She comes out to take Rani along her.
Bari Rani Maa wonders how this is possible, haven’t they look all around. The guard suggests may be Lakhan was lying just to save his life. Kokilla defends Kunwar ji in front of Bari Rani Maa questioning why she never believes Kunwar ji. Bari Rani Maa warns Kokilla if she finds any lie about it she will kill her. Bindu comes asking Bari Rani Maa about Swarna, Bari Rani Maa says her mother has run away leaving Bindu. She tells Bindu that Swarna left with a strange man who once came to meet them. Bindu cries calling Bari Rani Maa a liar, but Bari Rani Maa caress her. Bindu runs inside.
Rani cries in Raaj Mata’s lap saying Lakhan took a promise from her not to speak in palace, but she had to speak to save Raja. Raaj Mata says her Baba loved her a lot and would never want her to cry. She insists on Rani to impose laughter over her tears and tickles her. She recalls Kaal killing Raja ji and Gayatri and was upset. Rani fell asleep in her lap. She recalls Bari Rani Maa killing Lakhan and Swarna.
The next morning, Raaj Mata inquires a tea stall man about government hospital. Rani was hopefully watching some men around eating breakfast. She buys a cup for both, Rani shares it with Raaj Mata. Rani tells Raaj Mata that from today they would both share half of the things. Raaj Mata caresses Rani where she had been hit on head.
The warden kicks Raja to fell on ground while he was asleep. He holds his ear to wake up as there are rules in the hostel. Raja curses Rani for everything. Rajeshwari was feeding Jeewan, Bindu cries watching this as her mother and Raja both left her alone.
Raja was getting ready when the roommates come to bully him, demanding he must call them Sir. Raja stands up to confront them demanding what if he doesn’t accept. The boys gather in a team showing their fists, Raja agrees.
Raaj Mata insists on the doctor but the doctor says only the one who has money is treated. Raaj Mata was ready to do any work he asks for. Rani also insists. The doctor allows Raaj Mata to work as maid, Aya in the hospital; this way her treatment will be freed. Rani tells the doctor that she will not be same always, she will get education when grown up. The doctor assures to roll her into a school.
Bari Rani Maa comes to meet Raja in the hostel. Raja hugs her saying he knew she would come to take him, only she loves him. He informs Bari Rani Maa he was woken up at 5 am, and the food was worst. Raja was excited to leave with her, Bari Rani Maa tells Raja she can’t take him against his father’s will. Raja calls Kaal a villain. Bari Rani Maa cheers this is what she wanted. He calmly tells Raja that one must only be friends with the ones equal to them, they can help one to grow up in life. Now he should have no place for Rani or someone similar in life.
In the hospital, Raaj Mata does the cleaning of the hospital while Rani studies along her. Raaj Mata gives her a gift; she begins eating it but Raaj Mata forbids her. She first thanks God then eats it. Rani asks why they thank God when it’s made by a cook. Raaj Mata says that Goddess gifts it, Rani shares it with Raaj Mata.
Raaj Mata was hopeful that she will soon be a grown up, Rani wonders when will she grow up. Raaj Mata says she must spend all those days happily. In a ward, Raaj Mata plays music while Rani dances with her. A nurse passes by the ward and comes inside to scold them. Raaj Mata shuts off the music at once. The nurse informs them about the rules of the hospital and warns them to complain the doctor. Rani goes to hug the nurse, and asks if she is fighting for such a petty matter. The nurse turns the music on and join them in dance. Raaj Mata feels dizzy and fell on the floor.
Rani walks with the stretcher as Raaj Mata is shifted to OT. She then runs to the temple, complaining to God that both her parents died, but if her Dadu is also snatched she will never stop crying. She requests the God not to be so strict, she has no one on her side except Raaj Mata. The doctor’s panic as Raaj Mata stops breathing, the nurse comes to Rani but she doesn’t hear anything and runs into the operation theatre. She asks Raaj Mata not to break her promise, she will now accept all what she says, be a good girl; she calls Raaj Mata to open her eyes. The nurse assures Rani they are all with her. Rani says she wants Raaj Mata, else she would die as well. With a jerk, Raaj Mata coughs. The nurse calls the doctor and takes Rani back.
Doctors come to treat Raaj Mata, hopeful that her condition is getting better. The nurse advice Rani to be what Raaj Mata wants now. Rani hugs her, promising. Raaj Mata raises a hand to keep it over Rani’s head.
Raja comes to his room and enrageously shouts about hating Kaal, he would always do whatever Kaal asks for. Bindu wipes her tears and promises Bari Rani Maa doing what she wants to. Bari Rani Maa asks Bindu to be Raja’s biggest support. Bindu was determined to do what she asks for, but never become what her mother wanted her to be.
Rajeshwari brings food to Jeewan and advices him to shut all the doors of Raja’s return. Jeewan only demands for laddu. Rajeshwari advices him to become what Kaal wanted Raja to become.
Rani brings medicine to Raaj Mata. She warns Raaj Mata about taking her medicines regularly else she will fell ill. Rani tells Raaj Mata that she has thought about working in Amirkot’s palace again. Raaj Mata forbids her go there and her condition worsens.
Rani promises never to go there, but wonders how she will clarify her misunderstanding with Raja then. Months pass by. Raja was writing Rani’s name on paper and hurt himself with the nib of a pen. His roommates come to tease him about Rani, Raja beats them badly and pushes them down the floor. He recalls Rani’s words that Jeewan wasn’t going to get better by fighting. He forward a hand to the boy and pulls him up. They all hug laughing, they play with each other. Months pass by. On the dinner table, Jeewan asks Kaal in English if he needs butter on his bread. Kaal appreciates Jeewan, and says it was because of Raja that Jeewan couldn’t concentrate on his studies.
Raja who stood at the door heard about it. He remembers Kaal beating him, punishing him to go away from this house. Amrita runs towards Raja, Bindu also comes to greet him and asks how many days of vacation he has in hostel. Kaal says to Jeewan may be Raja learnt something in hostel through these months. Raja leaves the hall angrily.
In the hostel, Kaal questions Raja why he went away from the palace. Raja says he came back to his home, his palace has no place for him. Kaal reminds him he is Amirkot’s prince, Kaal. Raja says atleast he is a prince by name, else Kaal is a prince neither by name nor by actions. Kaal holds a hand over him, the warden stops Kaal reminding this is their boarding school. Raja leaves. In the palace, Kaal breaks a glass curt at Raja for his misbehavior. He announces he neither want to see Raja nor hear his name in the palace. Amrita requests Kaal to scold or beat Raja but not keep him away from himself.
Kaal slaps Amrita calling her responsible for Raja’s behavior.
Raja shares with his friends that his father is one reason to send him here, but there is someone else whom he trusted completely and she broke his trust and heart. Rani thinks about Raja, she prays to meet Raja once so that she can explain she even lost her Baba to save their friendship, maybe he realizes then that she didn’t betray him. At night, Raja was sitting with the mask Rani brought him, he prays he should never meet Rani. He will never forgive her for what mistake she has done.
Years later, the grown up Rani is shown running to catch her bus. She is finally successful in catching the bus and relieved, then gives an angry look to the passenger. She takes a seat, the passenger trying to harass her sits beside him.
Raaj Mata scolds a maid, Gayatri calls Hema, a maid by her name. Hema scolds Rani for calling her by her name. Raaj Mata scolds her for misbehaving with Rani. She demands a juice for herself, Rani makes Raaj Mata take a seat and insists on her to drink the juice. Raaj Mata asks if this is orange juice. Rani insists it is, she asks Raaj Mata to forgive her for giving her rice water instead of juice. She thinks Raaj Mata was so upset with Baba’s death and she only remember to be Raaj Mata of some palace now. She was lost in her thoughts when the conductor comes to tell her he has no other coins. Rani demands for her coins, as it will fill in her money bank. She sits back, thinking about Hema and her conversation.
Hema was concerned how Rani will study with so less money. Rani was determined to save each penny, she got a scholarship in a high profile college but was determined to survive among them. She has to prove to her Dadu that she is really a Raaj Mata. She takes her lunch box thinking that Raaj Mata had given it to her while leaving. Raaj Mata blessed her saying its their family ritual to study in London, still she is happy Rani will study in a well off college. She prays for Rani to get a good mannered husband, who is responsible and well educated. Rani says no guy today is responsible these days.
There Raja playfully drives his car rashly.
Rani curses the boys today to be irresponsible. Raja drives to a toll tax point, the man pays him all the money he had collected. The bus goes out of order, Rani asks the conductor how far is Amrikot from here. He tells her it’s some 2 km away, Rani thanks him and leave. She walks on the path.
Raja sat with his feet up on a stall table, his friends demanded who will pay the bills if not they? Raja points at Rani saying she will. He comes to greet Rani, she was lost first then asks him the address to university? Raja confirms if she is a fresher? Raja tells Rani that the man on counter is really helpful, he will give her all the directions.
Raja comes to the waiter and tells him that this girl will pay their money. Rani tells Raja it’s a pleasure meeting him. He leaves, Rani asks the waiter for the way to university. The waiter asks for 11 rupees and counts the food. She argues she didn’t eat so much, but the waiter complains she just said a yes. Rani thinks she had a loss just after entering the university.
In the university hall, Jeewan slaps a boy for eating popcorns from his pocket. He was still eating when Bindu comes to scold him for being a child. Jeewan tells her she is also the same like childhood, she tells him to call her Naveen; his sir gave her this name. He demands to call her as Rave, he gave this name to himself. They students discuss that Sir only sometimes come to university as his father is the owner here.
