Meet in love on zee world Tuesday 18th June 2024 Update, The scene unfolds with Imarti and Gunwanti in the common area, where Gunwanti expresses her frustration that she can’t do anything because all her wood is wet. Imarti suggests they check on her. They head to the kitchen and are shocked to find Meet cooking on a chula (a traditional stove). Meet asks them how the vegetable looks and if it smells good. Imarti, puzzled by how Meet is managing to cook, hears a noise from her room and decides to investigate.

In her room, Imarti discovers her bed is broken. She realizes that Meet used the wood from her bed to cook and begins to complain. Meanwhile, Meet offers the food she cooked to God, expressing her wish for her family’s happiness. Jasodha and Gunwanti, standing behind her, are stunned to see the elaborate meal. Jasodha questions Meet, suspecting some deceit. Meet insists she did nothing wrong and highlights the love involved in cooking for family, using Jasodha’s annual kheer for Sarkar as an example. Jasodha retorts that relationships are grounded in marriage and asserts that without a husband, Meet is nothing, and her son will always hate her. Jasodha leaves in anger, and Imarti confronts Meet about destroying her bed. Meet explains she needed dry wood and didn’t know who wet the others.
Later, Manmeet enjoys the food and praises its taste to Jasodha, saying he started eating alone because it smelled so good. Meet smiles, pleased with his reaction. Manmeet feels refreshed after eating.
In another scene, Sarkar, who is sleeping, is approached by Jasodha. She reminisces about their past and expresses her desire to be his wife in every lifetime. Sarkar, recalling something Imarti told him about documents, pushes her away, leaving her sobbing. He coldly dismisses her.
Manmeet, on the phone with a photographer, instructs him to capture most of his wife’s movements, warning that no detail should be missed. Manmeet plans something for Meet’s first and possibly last Holi in Sarkarpur.
Sarkar gives instructions to Badri regarding Holi arrangements. Jasodha approaches him, worried about his mood, but he deflects with a sarcastic remark, leaving her reassured yet confused.
As Holi celebrations begin, everyone gets ready to play. Sarkar arrives at the party and is greeted by the men. Jasodha attempts to wish him Holi and seek his blessings, but he brushes her off and greets Mahendra instead. Meghna comments on the apparent discrimination between men and women in Sarkarpur to Meet. Manmeet points out a cameraman to Sarkar, ensuring their plan for Holi is set. Sarkar takes color from Jasodha’s thali and applies it on Manmeet’s face, indicating the start of their celebration. Gunwanti and other women apply color to Sarkar’s feet, highlighting traditional gender roles. Sarkar urges everyone to enjoy Holi with their spouses.
Manmeet approaches Meet with color, but instead, he applies it to Shagun, taunting Meet about playing Holi with loved ones. Meet mocks him and walks away, leaving Manmeet plotting further.
Sarkar welcomes Inspector Bhati, who is there to celebrate Holi off duty. Manmeet encourages Bhati to exchange Holi wishes with Meet, which is recorded by the cameraman. Sarkar, Manmeet, and Bhati then wish each other Holi and continue with the celebrations.
Jasodha reflects on how, for the first time in 30 years, Sarkar hasn’t played Holi with her. Meanwhile, Manmeet mixes something into the thandai (a traditional Holi drink) meant for Meet, ensuring his plan to humiliate her unfolds. He’s interrupted by Gunwanti and Imarti, who playfully hit him as part of a ritual, causing a scene that distracts him temporarily. Eventually, he forces Meet to drink the thandai, believing his plan is in motion.
Manmeet later realizes that the thandai he intended for Meet and Bhati was accidentally consumed by him as well, complicating his scheme. Despite being intoxicated, Manmeet continues to taunt Meet and participate in the festivities, which Bhati observes with suspicion.
As the celebration continues, a boy hands Meet a note asking for help, claiming they are in danger. Meet searches for Anuja, worried she might be in trouble. Bhati follows her, but they both fall into a mud pit covered by hay, set up by Manmeet. Manmeet records their struggle, intending to use the footage against Meet.
Inside the palace, Jasodha tries to complete Holi rituals with Sarkar, but he rejects her, announcing his intention to marry Imarti’s younger sister, Jalebi. This declaration shocks everyone, especially Jasodha, who collapses in tears. Manmeet pleads with Sarkar, but Sarkar is resolute, revealing that Jasodha gave important documents to Meet, which he destroyed. Jasodha’s actions were intended to secure Manmeet’s happiness, but Sarkar sees it as betrayal.
Sarkar presents divorce papers to Jasodha, demanding her thumb impression. Despite everyone’s pleas, including Meet’s argument that having two wives is illegal, Jasodha reluctantly complies, believing it’s her duty to obey Sarkar.
In their private moments, Imarti and Jalebi celebrate their anticipated rise in power within the household. Jalebi expresses initial concern about resistance from the family, but Imarti reassures her, confident in Sarkar’s authority.
Sarkar, unwavering in his decision, dismisses Meet’s protests about the legality and morality of his actions. He insists on punishing Jasodha, asserting his dominance and the traditional rules of the household. Meet, Narendra, Meghna, and Manmeet try to reason with him, emphasizing Jasodha’s integral role in the family and the love and respect she deserves.
The tension culminates as Sarkar prepares to enforce his decision. Despite the emotional pleas from his family, he remains adamant, showcasing the rigid patriarchal structure and the harsh consequences for those who challenge his authority. The scene closes with the family in turmoil, facing an uncertain future under Sarkar’s stringent rule and the impending marriage to Jalebi, while Meet vows to challenge the injustice.
