Meet in love on starlife Monday 12th August 2024 Update, Sumeet and Raunak are in jail. Sumeet asks Raunak to tell her the truth about what happened on their wedding night. Raunak admits that he took drugs, but the police arrested him before he could reveal something about Shlok. Shagun appears and stops Raunak from speaking further. She threatens him and promises to bail him out after 12 pm. Shagun then tells Sumeet that her plan will be ruined in 12 hours, and she wants Sumeet to return home with Raunak as her husband. Shagun plans to make Sumeet and Raunak’s first night difficult to take revenge on Sumeet’s mom.

Pankhuri and Poonam discuss marrying Shlok and Bitti to make him forget Sumeet. They hope Shlok will move on soon. Shlok receives a call from Sumeet and they plan to meet at the Shiv temple the next day. Shlok has a plan to find the truth. Sumeet asks about the plan, but Shlok tells her to wait and see. Shlok proposes to marry Sumeet again to prove their marriage to everyone and stop his wedding with Bitti, which he believes is wrong in God’s eyes. Sumeet refuses, as she wants to win over Shlok’s family first. She asks for three days to find evidence.
Raj and Priyal together, Priyal has a panic attack, Raj calls Sumeet and says we had to take Priyal to the hospital. Sumeet says okay but we have to take her out secretly because she is dead for everyone and will help us to force Raunak to reveal the truth. Sumeet decides to take her to Dr. Mehta to S.S Hospital. Raj says okay but be careful. Bitti sees this and informs Shagun.
Priyal and Sumeet at the hospital, Sumeet says no need to worry no one will recognise you inside the veil. At the hospital, Shagun tries to see Priyal’s face with the help of a fan but fails, Sumeet saves Priyal. Shagun bribes a wardboy to do something. Wardboy asks Sumeet and Priyal to wait inside the room. Later, Shagun locks Sumeet and Priyal in a room and releases poisonous gas. Priyal is unable to breath.
Meanwhile, Bitti and Shlok’s pre-wedding ceremony is happening. Bitti thinks about getting married to Shlok as she has given all the information about Sumeet to Shagun. Poonam gives blessings to Bitti and Shlok. Shlok imagines Sumeet in Bitti’s place, but reality hits him, and he stays.
Inside the locked room, Sumeet tries to break free and calls for help. Shagun calls Raj and makes him hear Sumeet’s cries for help, she says in some time your sister will be dead because of poisonous gas, so now tell me how are you planning to accuse my child? Raj says its not possible she is in hospital. Shagun says I know she is in S.S hospital and I’m too, so now tell me truth. Sumeet and Priyal struggle to get out. Raj says to Shagun I don’t know what plan you are talking about. Shagun disconnects the call.
Sumeet tries to break the door with a fire extinguisher but she falls and hit her head on the door and faints.
Shlok mistakenly drops the haldi & walks out. Everyone in shock.
Sumeet wakes up and save herself from getting shocked. Shlok in hospital. Sumeet writes help on a paper with her blood. Shlok remembers Raj informing him about Sumeet’s situation, and he rushes to the hospital, leaving the haldi ceremony. Shlok searches for Sumeet and finds a note asking for help. He bangs the door and calls out to her. Sumeet lies unconscious inside the room.
Shlok in hospital. Sumeet is unconscious in a room, and Shlok knocking at the door and tries to unlock it. He turns off the poisonous gas pipe. Sumeet wakes up and asks for a lighter or matchstick. Shlok gives her lighter. Sumeet asks Shlok to stay away from door. Shlok gets tensed and hides. Sumeet unlocks the door with the help of an explosion.
The nurse looks after Sumeet. Sumeet asks Raj about Priya’s safety and questions Shlok if he came despite disappointing Poonam. Shlok assures her that nothing is more important than life. Sumeet notices haldi on Shlok’s sherwani and playfully applies it on her face, making Shlok smile. Meanwhile, Shagun is searching for her phone and sees Sumeet and Shlok talking with Priya and Raj. She realizes that her plan to make Raunak reveal the truth has failed, and she decides to change her game against Sumeet. Sumeet asks Shlok to go home as Poonam must be worried. Raj assures Sumeet that he will join them later. Shagun calls someone and continues with her devious plans.
Sumeet takes Priya home and advises her to back out of the plan if she feels hesitant. However, Priya insists on getting justice for herself and wants Shlok and Sumeet to unite as they are meant for each other.
Shagun disguises herself as an old lady selling toys and tricks Priya by making her unconscious. She feels triumphant as her plan succeeds. Raunak calls Shagun and threatens to reveal the truth to Sumeet if she doesn’t get him out of jail. Shagun assures him that she already has evidence to prove his innocence, as Priya is alive and with her.
The court hearing begins at the police station, and Shagun brings someone in a burkha, claiming she is the girl who accused Raunak of murder. However, she is shocked when Sumeet unveils herself from the burkha and pretends to be dizzy. Sumeet explains how she replaced Priya with herself, having noticed Shagun’s fancy footwear when she disguised herself as an old lady. Sumeet keeps provoking Raunak, accusing him of harming Priya and warns Shagun that they will be responsible for any harm to her in the future. She teases Shagun for her defeat in the scheme.
Judge says culprit Raunak wasted time of court and try to mislead the case, the same thing doesn’t repeat again so I’m putting this case in the fast track and recommend police to transfer Raunak from the lockup to jail. Raunak says I did noting. Judge says court is adjourned.
Shagun says to Raunak don’t worry I’ll handle the situation. Raunak threatens Shagun that if he has to go to jail, he will tell Sumeet the truth about the wedding night. Sumeet believes Raunak might reveal the truth when provoked. Suddenly, Poonam arrives and slaps Sumeet, blaming her for destroying Shlok’s life for her own selfish motives. Raj defends Sumeet, but Poonam remains firm in her decision to never accept Sumeet as her son’s wife and insists on getting him married to Bitti.
Shlok takes Poonam aside and expresses his trust in Sumeet, telling his mother that Sumeet is the only one he wants to be his wife. However, Poonam remains stubborn in her opinion and takes Shlok home. Shagun taunts Sumeet, saying even if she proves her marriage with Shlok, Poonam will still not accept her. Shagun mocks Sumeet, laughing loudly and declaring that Shlok and Bitti will get married in two days.
Shagun scolds her goons and instructs them to search for Priya everywhere. Priya is scared and asks Sumeet why she brought her to Shagun’s home. Sumeet assures her that Shagun won’t think of looking for her there. Using Priya’s phone, Sumeet tricks Shagun by changing her voice, leading Priya into a room. Raj is put inside the lockup, and he recalls how he bribed a constable to get him in so he can convince Raunak to believe him. Sumeet gives Priya water and sees Shlok and Bitti’s wedding card, confident that she will prove the truth before the wedding.
Raj lies to Raunak, claiming he attacked Shagun at the airport. He tells Raunak that Shagun is leaving the country due to media attention caused by his arrest. Raunak panics, refusing to let Shagun leave him, and shouts that he didn’t murder anyone. He becomes hysterical and pours water on himself. Raj realizes it’s not easy to break Raunak’s trust in Shagun. Sumeet sees a maid packing Raunak’s belongings and plans something.
Shlok and Bitti’s mehendi ceremony takes place. Poonam says Bitti’s mehendi will be dark as she will receive the love of her mother-in-law as well. She talks about how much Bitti loves Shlok and is the right choice for him. Shlok expresses his confidence that Sumeet will prove their marriage truth tomorrow. Raunak eats food sent from his home, but Sumeet warns him not to eat it as it’s poisoned. Raunak dismisses the idea, but he suddenly starts feeling unwell, and Sumeet urges him to vomit the food. It is revealed that Sumeet had mixed mild medicine to create an allergic reaction. Raunak falls unconscious.
