Love’s Complicated On Starlife Wednesday 16th September 2026 Update, Vasudha enters the kitchen and wonders what she should prepare for breakfast. The maid tells her that Savitri has already cooked breakfast. Vasudha says she will prepare everything for lunch, but the maid tells her that Savitri has prepared lunch as well. She says Savitri instructed that Vasudha should not do any work. Vasudha wonders why Savitri is doing this for her and decides to speak to her.

Meanwhile, Avinash scolds the award function manager for not sending them an invitation. The manager insists that an invitation was sent. Avinash asks him to send someone from the award function committee. A servant then tells Avinash that someone has arrived. Avinash goes downstairs and is surprised to see the mystery girl. She asks him if he has come there to steal. Avinash introduces himself, but she refuses to trust him.
Vasudha arrives, and the mystery girl asks her about Avinash. She also questions Avinash about why he stole her bag. Avinash explains that he was actually helping her. Devansh comes there and asks what is happening. The mystery girl introduces herself as a teacher. Devansh tells Avinash that she has come to help them with their school project. He asks Avinash to take care of her because she is their special employee. The mystery girl then leaves.
Sanjay arrives and introduces himself as someone from the award function committee. He says they had already sent an invitation to the Chauhans and hands the invitations to them. Avinash follows the mystery girl and tells her that she is his responsibility from now on. He says the Chauhans treat their employees very well and asks her name, but she leaves without answering. Avinash thanks God and dances happily.
Devansh tells Sanjay that he will attend the award function for Chandrika’s sake. Sanjay thanks him and leaves. Vasudha asks Devansh if he is really going to attend. Devansh says he does not want to go, but he has to. He tells Vasudha that he wants to reveal the truth to Chandrika before attending the award function.
Chandrika tells Prabhat that her phone is switched off and thinks Devansh must have called her. Prabhat gives her a power bank, and Chandrika says she is proud of Devansh. Devansh calls Chandrika and tries to tell her about what happened during the shoot, but she asks what he is planning to wear for the award function. He says he has not decided. Chandrika asks him to go to her room, where he finds an outfit she has chosen for him. She tells him she will speak to him after finishing her meeting and disconnects the call.
Later, everyone reaches the award function venue. Hanumant gives Devansh some candy, and Devansh thanks him before asking him to come inside. Hanumant says he will come after parking the car. He tells Vasudha that he is proud of her, and Vasudha says he is her biggest support.
Chandrika and Prabhat also arrive at the venue. Chandrika says it is a surprise for Devansh, and they go to the green room. Meanwhile, Devansh and Avinash take their seats. Karishma is about to sit beside Devansh, but a staff member stops her and explains that only the winners can sit there while the family members have to sit behind them.
Avinash tells Devansh not to worry, but Devansh moves aside. Avinash asks what happened, and Devansh says Chandrika is not answering his calls. He says he cannot receive the award without first telling Chandrika the truth. Avinash reminds him that they came there for Chandrika and suggests that Devansh accept the award from her and then tell her everything. He is confident that Chandrika will understand that Devansh did it to protect the reputation of the Chauhan company. Avinash then takes Devansh inside.
Vasudha arrives with Hanumant. Hanumant tells her that he never thought he would get the chance to stand with these people. Avinash sees Vasudha and calls her. Vasudha assures him that she is fine. Avinash tells her that they are receiving the award because of her. Madhav tells Vasudha that he will take care of Hanumant, and Avinash takes Vasudha with him.
Sarika tells Karishma that the maid has become the owner. Karishma sees Hanumant and becomes angry. She tells Sarika that everything will change within a few minutes. She says Devansh is Chandrika’s pride and that Chandrika will be shattered once she learns the truth. Karishma says she will win Chandrika’s trust and become the next queen of the Chauhan family. Sarika becomes angry after hearing this.
Karishma calls Vasudha and tells her to sit behind. She then goes and sits in Vasudha’s seat. Avinash comes to Vasudha and asks what she is doing there. Vasudha says she is fine where she is. A staff member notices Karishma sitting in the wrong seat and tells her to move. Karishma returns to her assigned seat.
The award function begins. Chandrika tells Prabhat that Devansh is looking handsome. She notices Devansh calling her but disconnects the call. Prabhat says she has never done that before. Chandrika explains that she cannot lie to Devansh, so she wants to see the happiness on his face when she goes in front of him. She also says she is proud of Vasudha. A staff member arrives and tells them that the award function has started.
Vasudha thinks she cannot see Devansh suffering like this. The host announces a special award, and Devansh moves aside. Vasudha goes to him. Devansh tells her that the award will only remind him of how he betrayed Chandrika. He says he should never have taken Madhav’s place on the shooting day and that he should have cancelled the shoot because that day has become a bad memory for him. Vasudha thinks that the same day is beautiful for her. She assures Devansh that Chandrika will forgive them and tells him that he must receive the award for Chandrika’s happiness.
The host calls Devansh onto the stage. Devansh goes up, and the host invites Chandrika and Prabhat to present the award. They come onto the stage. Karishma smiles and tells Sarika that this is all part of her plan. The host then plays the video from the marriage shoot. Chandrika, Prabhat, and Hanumant are shocked when they see Devansh as the groom. Chandrika glares at Devansh as she remembers how she defended him.
The host praises the Chauhans for giving Vasudha the opportunity and calls Vasudha and Avinash onto the stage. Prabhat tells Chandrika not to react there and asks her to discuss everything at home. Avinash takes Vasudha to the stage. The host asks Chandrika to give the trophy to the winner and says the moment will be memorable because Chandrika is giving the trophy to her son Devansh. Chandrika gives the trophy to Devansh, then glares at Vasudha and angrily leaves. Sarika and Karishma smile after seeing their plan succeed.
Later, Chandrika reaches home with Prabhat and stands outside in the rain, becoming completely drenched. Prabhat asks what she is doing. Chandrika remembers proudly saying that Devansh would never go against her and starts crying. Prabhat asks her to come inside, but she tells him to go ahead because she wants to be alone. Prabhat refuses to leave her alone. Karishma and Sarika arrive, and Karishma says Devansh has broken Chandrika’s pride today.
Chandrika asks Prabhat to go inside, and he takes her into the house. Karishma lies to Chandrika that she never saw the video. She then asks Sarika to become a towel for Chandrika. Sarika wonders if Karishma is planning to turn her into another Vasudha.
Devansh and the others arrive later. Devansh covers Chandrika with a shawl and tells her she must be feeling cold. Chandrika throws the shawl away and slaps him. Everyone is shocked. Devansh falls at her feet and apologizes, admitting that he made a huge mistake and should not have hidden the truth from her.
Chandrika asks Prabhat to tell Devansh that she will not believe his acting. She says this is real life and his acting will not work on her. She declares that she is Chandrika, the woman who built the Chauhan industry with truth and loyalty. She says Devansh has become the kind of person who does not deserve to stay in her house. Devansh begs her not to say such things.
Karishma tells Devansh that his lie is the reason Chandrika is like this. She says he should have asked Chandrika before sitting on the marriage mandap. Sarika tells Chandrika that she tried to stop Devansh and Avinash, but they did not listen to her. She claims that Devansh and Avinash said they would handle Chandrika themselves.
Karishma blames everything on Vasudha and asks Devansh to admit that he did it all for her. She says Devansh wanted Vasudha to get one percent of the profit and cannot believe that he lied to Chandrika for Vasudha. Sarika also blames Hanumant and Vasudha. Hanumant says he only watched the video that day.
Vasudha tells Chandrika that Hanumant is telling the truth. Hanumant asks Vasudha to keep quiet and tries to slap her, but Prabhat stops him. Vasudha says the situation was like that and asks Chandrika if she was wrong in the matter. Devansh tells Chandrika that everything is his fault. He asks her to punish him but requests her to talk to him. Chandrika says she will punish herself for trusting Devansh.
