After Dana woke up, the doctors examined her. She was not responsive to anything so the doctor said it was because she was in a coma for more than a year. She would therefore need to undergo therapy so that she could relearn how to walk, talk, eat and other normal functions.
David was worried about going to see Dana because he knew Lucy and Adam did not want to see him. Helen told him to go and see Dana because he was her husband. When David went to Dana’s room, Lucy immediately asked him to leave. Dana however whispered his name and it was the first time she spoke since she woke up. Adam kicked David out too but Dana cried for him. They eventually let David stay to help with Dana’s recovery.
Adam didn’t want Jia to leave the company and the country. He went to Kai’s house to apologize for judging her and begged her to stay. He said that he did not want to lose his children, after what happened to Dana. He put the karaoke bar and house in Jia’s name and said that he would not disown her. He also asked her to go back to work at the company.
David tried to get in contact with Jia again. He went to Dragon Empire Builders hoping to see her but ran into Lucy. Lucy slapped him and asked him not to disrespect Dana because she would get worse if she found out what was going on between him and Jia. He told David to leave and not to return to the company.
Jia overheard their conversation and once again felt guilty. She ultimately decided to leave, yet again because she did not want to cause problems. She and Kai left without telling Adam because he would try to stop them. She also took a job at another company.
Dana worked hard to recover with David by her side. When her memories started to return, she remembered that she was expecting a child. David and her parents told her that she lost it and Dana took it hard. When she got better, she asked about Jia because she had not gone to see her. Adam said that Jia took a job in Australia. Dana asked for Jia’s number because she wanted to call but everyone said they didn’t have it.
When Jia was working, she suddenly fainted and had to be taken to the hospital.
