Simran is in tears. She asks Raj if he expects her to leave Kritika in jail and abandon her a second time.
She begs him to please bring her daughter home and warns that if she doesn’t come back home by tomorrow morning, she will take her own life.
Raj is shocked at her words.
Grandmother is sitting in the hospital corridor.
Sid looks at her and winks.
She sees that Roshni and DD are sitting on both sides of Sid, sleeping with their heads on his shoulders.
This makes Grandmother very happy.
She turns to see Bablu and Pratima also watching with glee.
Grandmother thanks God for what he has done.
Sid pretends to stretch as though he’s waking up from sleep as well.
Roshni and DD wake up and they all say good morning.
The doctor announces that the boy’s life is out of danger and the girl who hit him has been arrested.
The police inspector calls DD to inform her that the girl who hit the boy has been bailed.
DD is upset.
Roshni takes the phone and says she will come to the police station right away.
DD offers to go with her
Roshni tells DD to go home so that she can rest after straining her neck all night
Sid tells both ladies to go home and he will handle the girl at the station.
Roshni protests but he reminds her that she has a head injury.
Roshni makes him promise he will teach the girl a lesson.
Sid says he won’t spare her.
Pratima tells them all to go while she and Bablu take care of the little boy.
Sid gets to the station and asks the police inspector who bailed the girl. He says an innocent child is fighting for his life and the person who caused the accident has been allowed to go.
The police informs his that the people who bailer her are rich and powerful people, Mr. and Mrs. Khurana.
Sid is shocked.
He sees the bail form with his father’s signature.
The inspector says they can take the case further if Sid likes.
Roshni calls Sid on the phone and he ends the call because he doesn’t know what to say to her.
He decides to go and find out why his parents bailed Kritika and who she really is.
DD gets home and sees Mona.
Mona walks away without a word.
DD calls are back to apologise for not taking her call last night, explaining that Roshni was in an accident and they were at the hospital.
Mona tells DD to just let it be, she can only look after her daughter Roshni,while she looks after her own, Samaira as it’s clear DD doesn’t have time for them anymore.
Pratima tries to explain but Mona tells her not to bother, they will all handle their problems from now on.
She tells DD that she can see she has formed groups in the family and they are now on their own; Rajveer did not come back home last night but it’d not DD’s problem.
Roshni tries to explain to Mona but Mona walks away.
DD tells Roshni not to bother as Mona obviously wants them to give her space, so they will do that and hopefully she will soon realise they are her family and not enemies.
Kritika is back home.
Simran tells Raj that she will talk to Kritika about what she did.
Kritika says she didn’t make a mistake, they left her at home by herself to go and be with Sid and Roshni, so she drank a lot.
She says she didn’t know the child was there and Roshni too.
Raj asks what happened to Roshni.
Sid enters suddenly and tells them that Roshni also fell a victim to Kritika’s anger. The child she hit is Fatey, one of the children in Roshni’s NGO.
Kritika hides behind Simran.
Sid tells her not to hide because he has forgiven her past mistakes but she seems to be ungrateful.
He says the child is fighting for his life in the hospital and Roshni too got hurt and if anything happens to Roshni.
He raises his hand and Simran blocks him, telling him he can’t touch her.
Sid asks his parents what’s going on. He says they have always been people who support doing the right thing and the right thing in this case is for Kritika to get punished.
He pulls Kritika by the hand and makes his way towards the door.
Simran begs him to stop because she hasn’t had the chance to tell him Kritika is his sister.
Sid stops.
Kritika looks at Simran, then at Sid.
Simran tells Sid that he’s going to put his older sister behind bars.
Sid turns and Simran tells him Kritika is her daughter and his sister.
Sid is disappointed that they hid such a big thing from him for so many years.
Raj says they wanted to tell him but the time was never right.
Sid says he came so many times and asked about her but they never told him and now he feels like a stranger in his own house.
Simran says she was afraid of his reaction.
Sid says she should have told him when he was still a kid because fear has now caused so much trouble for everyone; her daughter tried to kill her daughter in law.
He says he doesn’t know who to support, his wife or his sister.
Simran says she doesn’t know why DD lodged a complaint.
Sid says it wasn’t DD that lodged the complaint but he and Roshni.
Simran says she doesn’t know what’s wrong or right but she wants to beg him not to send his sister to jail because she doesn’t want to lose her daughter again.
Sid says he can’t bear to see his mother like this, so Kritika won’t go to jail but he has a condition.
At DD’s house, Roshni is pacing about restless.
DD assures her Sid will handle it all.
Sid arrives and DD says thanks goodness he’s back.
Kritika enters and stands beside Sid.
DD and Roshni are shocked.
DD asks what Kritika is doing in her house.
Roshni tells Sid that she was the girl who caused the accident.
Sid tells Roshni he wants to talk to her.
Roshni asks why they have to talk in the house.
DD says they should have taken her to the police station.
Sid says she has realised her mistake that’s why he brought her to the house.
Roshni reminds him that the boy’s life was in danger till this morning, so she can’t forget.
She asks who the girl is to him for her to want to forget.
Sid is quiet.
Roshni says if Sid is not ready to do anything, then she will do it.
She goes to grab Kritika’s hand.
DD begs Roshni to please wait. She says she agrees with Sid to forgive her; if it were in the past, she too would have punished the girl but in the last few days she has learnt about forgiveness.
She says if the girl goes to jail, it will only harden her but if she is forgiven, she can amend her ways
Kritika apologies to DD and Roshni.
Sid tells her to put her hands together and apologise properly.
Kritika hesitates then puts her hands together and apologises to them again.
DD says it’s fine but it should never happen again.
She asks for her parents’ number so she can also talk to them because it is their fault for not raising her properly and giving her so much freedom.
Sid and Kritika stare at one another.
Sid tells DD that there is no need to involve her parents.
DD asks for her name and then says she will go to the hospital and apologise to the child she ran over then she will do some community service for a month and if she finds her to drink and drive again, then she will give her a good hiding and hand her over to do the police herself.
Kritika agrees and as she is leaving, Sid tells Roshni and DD that he will be back.
He follows Kritika.
Roshni is upset but DD begs her to understand.
Rajveer is in an office.
A man hands him a document and says he has prepared his divorce papers.
He says he doesn’t understand why Rajveer is doing it, he said he wanted all of DD’s money but how does this now fit in.
Rajveer tells him to mind his business and do the job he paid him to.
He asks for the other papers and the man hands them over to him.
Rajveer smiles.
Sid is with his dad. He says he had to lie to his family and he is saddled with the heavy burden. He took his sister’s side over Roshni’s and he doesn’t know what will happen when Roshni finally realises the entire truth.
Raj apologises and says he never thought they would be a problem for him.
Sid says he understands that Kritika didn’t grow up with love and his mother feels guilty about it but they should mark his words, Kritika needs more discipline than love right now otherwise she will get more and more out of control.
He says they will have to keep a close eye on her and find out who she hangs out with and where she goes, otherwise it will become more difficult to handle her in the future and become a bigger problem.
Sid leaves and Raj thanks God for giving him a son like Sid who knows how to handle different relationships and maintain them.
Sid meets up with a contact who says he has obtained the information Sid requested.
He says there are no records of Rajveer anywhere but he found a juvenile case filed against him which means he has done something illegal and even before he was of legal age.
He says if Sid likes, he can go to a rehabilitation center to find out more.
Sid says he will go by himself.
Sid gets to the rehabilitation centre and asks the officer in charge for information about Rajveer.
The officer says he doesn’t divulge such information.
Sid says Rajveer is posing a danger to his family and he is still refusing to help him.
The officer remains adamant.
Sid sees a man staring at him.
Rajveer gets home and gives Samaira some papers.
She opens it and it’s documents for a new house.
Samaira hugs and thanks him for buying a house in her name.
Rajveer says it’s time for them to move to their own place. He says he doesn’t know why they look at him with suspicion in DD’s house, so he wants them to move to their own.
Samaira says she will go anywhere he takes her.
He tells her to sign the papers.
Samaira starts signing without reading the pages underneath.
Rajveer smiles with satisfaction as she is actually signing the divorce papers.
Kritika tells Simran that Sid and his mother in law humiliated her today. DD asked her if she had a mother and father and it seems everyone enjoys trying to find out what her childhood was like.
She says Simran said they would accept her but Sid was there as they humiliated her and he didn’t say anything.
She says she could have told everyone the truth there but she couldn’t do it because she didn’t want to ruin her brother’s life.
Simran says she loves both of them.
Kritika asks what she sees in Sid and says Roshni would gladly send her away. She feels sorry for Simran because she abandoned her and got married into money and what does she get in return, a husband and son who don’t listen to her.
Simran asks Kritika if she had had something to eat.
Kritika says she is not hungry.
She tries to stand up but faints.
Simran calls for help.
Sid follows the man who was staring at him earlier.
He meets him outside and asks if he has any information.
The man stares at him.
Sid gives him some money and the man hands him a file.
Sid says there is nothing about Rajveer in it.
The man says he will find out all he needs to know about Rajveer through the address.
He tells Sid to leave before anyone sees him.
