Episode 53
Roshni asks Sid if he wants to talk.
He asks if there is anything to talk about.
She says he can always share whatever he is thinking with her.; Bablu told her Sid would not be able to go to Dubai for DD’s work.
Sid says DD had faith in him and was going to give him power of attorney but he let her down.
Roshni tells him to see it as a new beginning, DD will include him in everything and it would be okay.
She says she wouldn’t have allowed him go to Dubai by himself anyways because she has heard they have beautiful belly dancers there.
Sid teases her about it.
Roshni hits him with a pillow and the feathers fly around the room.
They look into each other’s eyes then Roshni pretends to be in pain and when Sid gets worried, she hits him with the pillow again and he fights back.
They soon fall on the bed and stare into each other’s eyes with feathers flying around them.
Sid tells her to do the belly dance for him.
She asks what he will do for her.
At the office, Sid gets a call from Kesar and Sid says he will be on his way.
Rajveer phones Gafoor and tells him to quickly leave for the airport as he is about to get the power of attorney for DD.
Sid meets up with Kesar at a hotel.
Kesar says a man named Hussain booked a room at the hotel in their company name and he is unable to get more information but he had his doubts about the business man from Dubai that Rajveer brought to DD.
Sid says he knows someone at the hotel and can get more information.
He goes to the reception and asks to see the hotel logs to check for a guy called Hussain.
They print out the details and it’s Gafoor.
Rajveer vows Sid is up to something so he wants DD to hurry up before Sid spoils his plans.
He tells DD to hurry up with the power of attorney because he doesn’t want to miss the flight to Dubai.
DD says it will take her another 10 minutes.
Sid shows the printout to Kesar and Kesar says he knows Gafoor as DD’s enemy and he is sure he is scheming against DD becaue he is not sopposed to be in India.
Sid says he will try and find a way to see Gafoor in his room.
Kesar points to a car and Sid sees Gafoor is already leaving the hotel.
Sid blocks the car and the driver stops.
Gafoor asks what’s going on.
Kesar joins Sid and Gafoor tells the driver to run them over.
Sid goes to try and open the car but Gafoor hits him with the door and Sid falls to the ground.
Gafoor runs and Sid gives Kesar instructions to call the police while he chases Gafoor.
Gafoor stops to throw things at Sid and Sid blocks them.
He soon throws his laptop bag at Gafoor sending him to the ground.
The police arrive.
Rajveer gets a call from Kesar but he doesn’t answer it because he knows something is up.
Sid tries to call DD but she doesn’t answer.
Rajveer tells DD to hurry up or he will miss his flight.
DD hands him the documents with the power of attorney, making Rajveer very happy that he can finally take all that belongs to DD.
Sid enters the office. He takes the documents from Rajveer and tears them up.
DD asks him what’s wrong.
Sid tells her to come with him and see that Kesar didn’t steal anything from her.
They get to the corridor and the police inspector tells her that Gafoor was the one who stole from her and was going to Dubai to try and resell the same jewelry back to her.
Rajveer gives Gafoor a sign not to tell on him.
DD gives Gafoor a slap and insults him.
As the police are about to take him away, Gafoor tells Sid that there is another person who is close to them and working from the inside against DD.
Sid gets worried as he wonders who the person could be.
At home, Pratima and Roshni are cooking in the kitchen.
Pratima tells Roshni that Sid helped to clear Kesar of the theft and Roshni that is very lucky to have such a husband that takes care of everyone.
Samaira enters the kitchen and asks for green tea.
Pratima says she will have to make it herself because the maid is busy.
Samaira says she wants green tea and she doesn’t know why they are all rejoicing over Kesar’s innocence.
She tells the maid to make her the green tea right now.
Roshni tells Samaira that the maid is busy as they are all trying to make dinner.
Samaira yells at the maid and Pratima cautions her.
Samaira moves her hand and it touches the hot spoon Pratima is cooking with.
Samaira moans in pain.
Mona enters the kitchen and fusses over Samaira.
Roshni tries to explain what happened but Mona tells her not to bother because she knows they will always put the blame on Samaira.
She tells Roshni not to tell DD because if DD kicks them out like she did Kesar and Resham,they have nowhere to go to.
Roshni is upset and in tears. Pratima consoles her.
At the office, Kesar touches DD’s feet for her blessings.
DD is in tears.
Kesar says with her blessings he and Resham will be leaving town; he has learnt a lot from her and will put it to use.
DD says she should be the one to apologise to him.
He begs her not to.
He says she’s his hero and with her blessings, he wants to make something of himself.
DD says he can still do all of that with her.
Sid tells DD that Kesar is right to leave and she should let him go, in time, she will be raving about how much he has achieved.
Kesar tells DD that she’s been like a mother to him so she should just give him one chance to make some good himself
DD says her best wishes are with him. She tells him to apologise to Resham and she will come and see them when they’ve settled down.
They both wipe their tears.
Rajveer is not happy.
He goes to meet DD in her office.
He apologises to her and says he didn’t know about her history with Gafoor.
DD says he disappointed her and thank God Sid got there in time.
Rajveer says he wants to have a chance to make it up to her.
DD says he should just leave her for how.
She calls Sid on the phone.
Rajveer and Sid meet at the door and DD tells Sid to shut the door.
She holds him by his shoulder and tells him she’s so proud of him; he trusted his instincts to do the right thing and she has realised he has a good sense of business too.
Sid tells her it’s okay.
DD says she mortgaged the house and the store to have the jewelry made again because she doesn’t have that kind of money. She begs him to help her out now so the process will go without any hurdles.
Sid says she finally put her trust in him and he won’t let her down.
Sid thinks about what Gafoor said and wonders who amongst them is bent on ruining their lives.
Raj gives Simran a document to sign. He tells her that he wants to start his biggest project and put it all in Kratika’s name.
She smiles and hugs him.
He tells her there are 2 documents and she should sign them.
She says she doesn’t understand.
Raj says he wants to start a project for her other daughter, Roshni.
Kratika watches them and concludes that Raj is deceiving Simran to make her sign over everything to Roshni.
She vows to give Sid and Roshni hell over it.
Sid goes to the police station to make enquiries and the inspector tells him that Gafoor has been bailed.
Sid asks how a criminal like Gafoor can be released.
The inspector says his lawyer came and bailed him and there was nothing they could do.
Rajveer and Gafoor are standing outside the police station.
Rajveer tells Gafoor that he has given him a lot of money so he should just stay away.
Gafoor says he would have gotten Rajveer also arrested if he left him in jail.
Rajveer says it was Sid that got him in jail.
Gafoor tells Rajveer that he is also not safe and Sid will also haunt him down.
Rajveer looks and sees Sid coming out of the station. He panics.
Gafoor leaves and Rajveer holds the lawyer asking why he bailed Gafoor out.
Sid walks up to them.
Rajveer says he will find out where Gafoor is.
Roshni calls Sid to come and pick her up from the NGO.
DD is sitting up in her bed.
Grandmother arrives and DD says she has made a lot of mistakes in the past few months.
Grandmother says Kesar is fine now.
DD says she misjudged Sid but now she knows he wants the best for everyone and he always warns her if she is about to make a wrong decision.
Grandmother smiles.
DD says she wants them to organise a small wedding for Roshni and Sid again so she can accept him for real; she no longer cares if Sid is middle class and just wants the best for her daughter.
Sid meets Roshni up and she thanks him for saving Kesar. She hugs him and one of the children holds a fake mistletoe over their heads and tells them to kiss.
Roshni says it’s not a real mistletoe.
Sid tells the kids to make Roshni kiss him.
The kids start chanting “kiss! kiss! Kiss!”
Sid draws her close and she kisses his cheek.
The children throw artificial snow.
Kratika is spying on them.
She says to herself so that’s Roshni and the one deceiving her mother all this while?
She says she is the only daughter of the family and Roshni has no idea what she has in store for her.
At night, Sid remembers what Gafoor said and also remembers what Rajveer said when he saw him at the station.
Roshni begs him to come to bed.
He lies down but can’t sleep.
Roshni tells him to try and close his eyes.
His phone vibrates and the callers says he has done what Sid asked him to.
Sid asks where he is.
The contact says he will send him the address.
Sid says he has to find out the person in the family that Gafoor was referring to.
