Jhanak On Starlife Thursday 9th October 2025 Update, Bablu expresses his wish for Anirudh to get divorced quickly so that he can marry Jhanak. He points out that since Arshi has already left the house, the divorce process should be easier now. Mrinalini joins the talk, saying they’re ready to begin the wedding preparations.

Jhanak, still unsure, asks if Arshi has truly made her final decision. Anirudh firmly tells her that his own decision is final — he won’t go back to Arshi, even if she decides to return. Bablu confidently says that Arshi leaving is itself proof she’s ready for divorce. To lighten the mood, Jhanak softly asks everyone what they would like to drink.
Anirudh jokes, warning them not to ask for juice since it’s more healthy than tasty. Jhanak then reveals she cooked upma for the day. Bablu’s face lights up as it’s his favorite dish. Anjana proudly says she was the one who taught Jhanak how to make it. Bablu teases that the student has now become better than the teacher. When Anjana offers to help in the kitchen, Jhanak insists everything is ready and asks her to rest. Mrinalini then reminds Jhanak that she should also start packing.
Anirudh asks if everyone truly supports the plan. Bablu assures him that he has already spoken to the family and no one will disrespect Jhanak again at the Bose house. Mrinalini tells Jhanak to speak up if anyone treats her unfairly and not to tolerate any mistreatment. Jhanak softly says that she should be the one to stay there. Mrinalini comforts her, reminding her that Arshi has moved on with Siddharth and Anirudh has chosen her. She asks Jhanak to have faith in him, promising that they will make the wedding unforgettable. She then announces that today they will take Anirudh and Jhanak to the Bose house.

Elsewhere, Appu reads an emotional letter written by Kajol, which makes Kajol tear up. Appu insists she doesn’t want to go to the hospital today. Kajol reassures her, saying things will be better tomorrow. Appu says she wants to meet Jhanak and tells Kajol to leave once she passes away. Kajol scolds her gently, refusing to hear such things. She tells Appu she has to fight for her, as Appu has become someone very close to her heart.
Jhimli playfully complains that she used to be Kajol’s favorite, but now Appu has taken her place. Kajol explains that Appu is pure and innocent. Lalon points out that Kajol has given everything to Appu. Just as he is about to leave for work, Appu stops him and asks Kajol not to go either. Lalon smiles and says Appu loves Kajol the most. Embarrassed, Appu denies it. Kajol replies that Lalon’s love is Appu’s strength. He looks at Kajol warmly, and she smiles back.
Later, Anirudh brings Jhanak to his family house. Mimi is overjoyed to see her and hugs her warmly. Anirudh then looks at his parents and says he didn’t want to return because he feared they would insult Jhanak behind his back. He asks them to speak honestly in front of him instead. Shubh reminds him that legally Arshi is still his wife. Anirudh clarifies that Jhanak hasn’t yet come as his wife — there is a right time for marriage, and they’ll do it then.
Amitabh surprises everyone by saying that Jhanak is the right match for Anirudh and will keep him happy. He blesses her, and Jhanak humbly takes his blessings. Anirudh then turns to Dadi and asks if she has anything to say. Dadi replies that her opinion doesn’t matter much anymore. She tells him it’s his life and his choice, but firmly adds that she will never accept Jhanak.
Bablu encourages Anirudh to fix both the divorce and wedding dates soon. Anjana adds that Jhanak will bring happiness into this house and into Anirudh’s life. Jhanak quietly seeks blessings from both Anjana and Anirudh.
Anirudh then asks his parents if they will truly accept the marriage. Tanuja answers that they’re only agreeing because of him. Choton points out that Arshi and Anirudh have already chosen their own paths. Anirudh firmly says the wedding will happen. Shubh, sounding disappointed, asks why Anirudh even needs their approval when so many others already stand by him. Amitabh says he will speak to the priest to set the wedding date.
Tanuja raises doubts, asking what will happen if the divorce is not finalized in time. Anirudh says he will talk to Arshi directly. Tanuja blames Jhanak for Arshi’s departure, but Jhanak calmly replies that Arshi made her own choice. Anirudh warns that if they keep insulting Jhanak, he will leave the house again. Tanuja accuses him of emotional blackmail. Anirudh says he simply won’t allow anyone to humiliate Jhanak.
Laal chooses to stay neutral, saying it’s Anirudh’s life and he wishes the couple well. Anirudh taunts him, saying Laal changed after Bipasha betrayed him. Turning to Bipasha, he assures her they won’t seek revenge. Bipasha insists that everything she did was for his good. Anirudh mocks her, telling her to focus on her own life. Bipasha angrily asks how he could insult her in front of Jhanak. He bluntly replies that he did it because he wanted to.
Rimi then declares she will never accept Jhanak as her sister-in-law. Anirudh sharply responds that Jhanak will not respect her either. He tells Jhanak to relax and avoid kitchen responsibilities, advising her to only respect those who treat her kindly. Jhanak looks at Anirudh with mixed feelings.
COMING UP
