Jhanak On Starlife Sunday 19th January 2025 Update, Dadi and Dadu are scolding Choton, telling him to leave. Baren asks them to eat, but Dadi replies, “No, we can’t even have water.” Choton retorts, “You asked me to love Laxmi. When I’m doing this, you get upset.” Anjana tells Choton to stop the drama. He questions her, “Why? Didn’t you tell me to help Laxmi become successful?” Dadi asks what he means.

Anjana realizes he’s referring to Laxmi Mata, and Baren laughs along with everyone else. Mrinalini comments that Choton is fooling around again. Choton insists, “I call Laxmi Mata Potu with love; she is my everything. If you didn’t understand and complained about me, then it’s not my mistake.” Baren concedes, “Okay, fine, sit.” Choton then asks Mrinalini to go and get tea.
Meanwhile, Jhanak brings tea for Guru Ji. He enjoys it and asks her where she learned to dance. She honestly replies, “I’ve never taken any dance training.” He finds this hard to believe and questions her further. She explains, “My mum was a great dancer; I learned from her.” When he asks for her mother’s name, she mentions that she wasn’t famous and that they are from Srinagar. He inquires about her situation and why she is working in this city. Jhanak reveals, “I’m new here, and I’m alone.” He asks if she needs money and whether she has a father. She sorrowfully states, “I don’t have a mum or dad. My mum is no more; she committed suicide.” Guru Ji is shocked and asks why.
Anirudh arrives home, and Shubh asks if he met Arshi. Anirudh nods, and Tanuja asks about her condition. He replies, “She is much better and will be discharged on Monday.” Guru Ji expresses his desire to train Jhanak, believing she has the potential to clear the audition round. Jhanak, however, expresses her reluctance. He presses her for an explanation, and Anirudh interjects that Arshi needs time to recover, but she can participate in the dance show later. Bipasha comments that Arshi needs time, and they don’t know how much she needs.
Jhanak talks to Guru Ji, who encourages her to dance as if no one is watching. She counters that she isn’t a professional dancer and that he has high expectations. He assures her he will manage everything and tells her not to worry about registration. She fears losing her job if she participates and fails to qualify. Guru Ji argues that if she qualifies, the channel will take care of her responsibilities, and appearing on TV is a significant achievement. Jhanak protests, worrying that being on TV won’t guarantee her a job and insists that she’s focusing on her betterment. Guru Ji challenges her, saying that if she truly wants to improve, she should respect her talent.
Anirudh argues with his family, and Shubh suggests speaking to Shrishti and Pandit Ji. Anirudh refuses, stating he doesn’t want to repeat the marriage drama. Guru Ji reassures Jhanak that she will clear the auditions if she trusts him. He asks her to wear ghungroos and show him some Western dance. Jhanak complies and smiles as he plays music. As “Manwa lage…” plays, Jhanak dances beautifully. Guru Ji smiles, changes the song, and praises her performance with applause. He notes that he has been in this profession for years and that it would be a sin if she loses her job and doesn’t qualify. He promises to help her get a job if things don’t work out and encourages her to register for the audition.
Jhanak is apprehensive and requests that he not tell anyone she is signing up, fearing it will create problems for her. He reassures her that he will speak to her boss and that she will soon be on TV. She thinks about how those who called her a thief will react when they see her on screen. Meanwhile, Tanuja expresses frustration that Jhanak didn’t inform them before leaving. Anirudh interrupts, insisting he doesn’t want to discuss it further, noting that Jhanak was almost jailed, and it’s fortunate Mrinalini intervened to reveal the truth. Shubh and Tanuja argue, and Anirudh asserts he understands Jhanak’s actions and motives; he just wants Arshi to recover.
Guru Ji encourages Jhanak to focus on her practice. As everyone enters, Muskaan asks if Jhanak will dance with them. Guru Ji dismisses her, stating her dance was poor and implying she thinks she is a star. He instructs her to leave and sign her papers. Jhanak nods, feeling disappointed. Guru Ji internally resolves that he won’t let them know Jhanak is auditioning, and he believes she will perform well. Jhanak reflects on her situation, feeling misunderstood, but believes that sometimes, fate intervenes positively. She hopes to make her mother proud and smiles.
