Shashwat tells Ishani again that he wants to know. Ishani asks why he is asking this suddenly and lies, saying nothing like that ever happened in her life. She thinks that if she mentions Anurag’s name, Shashwat will not spare him. Shashwat says this is exactly what he wanted to know and now everything is normal. He leaves with Nandini. The haldi ceremony comes to an end.
Later, Ishani gets ready and feels restless. She thinks something is going on in Shashwat’s mind and wonders what he is up to. Pihu comes over and compliments Ishani. She asks if Ishani ever had a boyfriend. Ishani scolds Pihu for asking and reminds her that she is like Pihu’s mother. Pihu says many boys must have proposed to Ishani when she was young. Ishani says she went to college to study and wasn’t interested in other things. Pihu urges her not to be shy and share everything. Ishani tells her to stop talking like that, and Pihu agrees.
Shashwat arrives. Ishani sends Pihu away. Shashwat compliments Ishani and asks if she would mind if he held her hand in front of guests. Ishani is surprised and says Nandini won’t like that. Shashwat asks if she is jealous of Nandini. He holds her hand and takes her downstairs.
After some time, Ankita’s parents arrive to welcome Yash. Yash takes their blessings, and Ankita’s mother tells him to always keep Ankita happy. Raj didi asks Nandini where Shashwat is. Nandini says he went to bring Ishani. They go inside. Ankita reaches the marriage mandap. Shashwat introduces Ishani to the principal and professors, explaining that he invited them to clear misunderstandings. He takes Ishani to talk to them.
Nandini gets angry seeing Shashwat’s closeness to Ishani. She pulls him aside and asks what he is doing. Shashwat tells her not to ruin her mood because it’s part of his plan. He goes to the principal and explains that Ishani decided not to attend college due to marriage work. He promises to send her to college once Yash’s marriage is over. Ankita’s father calls Shashwat away.
