Ishani On Starlife Saturday 18th April 2026 Update, Shashwat says he is finally content with his life and wants to focus on himself and his family. Pihu suggests that they should go on a family trip and even mentions Europe as an option. She excitedly asks Ishani to come along with Anurag, but Shashwat questions why Anurag would come when he is about to get married. Pihu boldly says they are going to stop that marriage, but Ishani quickly tells her not to start that topic again.

Suddenly, everything changes when Shashwat collapses. Everyone rushes to him in panic. Siddarth quickly checks him and reveals that it is a heart attack. Pihu, shocked and scared, keeps asking Shashwat what happened to him. Raj didi runs to call an ambulance, but before anything can be done, Shashwat holds Ishani’s hand and takes his last breath.
Pihu refuses to accept it and keeps saying nothing will happen to him. Siddarth checks his pulse and quietly announces that Shashwat is no more. The whole family breaks down in tears. Raj didi cries uncontrollably, begging Shashwat to open his eyes and not leave her alone like this.
The next day, at the cremation ground, Shashwat’s last rites begin. Ishani stands beside Pihu, supporting her as she struggles to stay strong. The priest asks them to call Shashwat’s son to perform the final rituals. Pihu replies that Shashwat does not have a son. Raj didi says that Yash, Shashwat’s son, must be on his way, but Pihu firmly says that if he truly cared, he would have already arrived.
When the priest asks who will perform the rites, Pihu steps forward and says she will do it. The priest objects, saying that women are not allowed to perform these rituals. Pihu refuses to argue and makes it clear that she will do it no matter what. Seeing her determination, the priest finally agrees.
With a heavy heart, Pihu performs Shashwat’s last rites. Through her tears, she tells him that despite his flaws, he always took care of the family with love. She prays for his peace and promises that she will make him proud. She breaks down, saying she will miss him deeply. Siddarth holds her as she cries in his arms. Raj didi continues to mourn, asking how she will live without him. Ishani gently consoles her. Finally, Pihu lights the funeral pyre as the family stands there in grief.
Later, Pihu asks Ishani if she truly forgave Shashwat from her heart. Ishani is surprised by the question, but Pihu says she needs to know. Ishani admits that she went through a lot because of Shashwat, and those wounds are not easy to forget. However, she also says she saw him change, and that is why she was able to forgive him. She adds that even though it may sound strange, she will miss him deeply.
Pihu says that Shashwat seemed at peace before he died, as if he knew his time had come. Ishani agrees and hopes his soul rests in peace. Pihu says that God has freed him from his pain. She then hands Ishani a letter that Shashwat had written for her.
COMING UP
Ishani asks Anurag what he is doing at the cremation ground. Anurag tells her that his marriage has been cancelled.
