Happy Hearts brings a light take on Happy’s not-so-little problems. The series has a decent start. It has all the elements of a good family drama. The lead character Jasmin Bhasin owns it completely. She makes the character of Happy look effortless.
Jasmin looks innocent, fresh, and charming. One doesn’t get bored watching Happy’s unique take on the situational drama.
The other leads Ansh Bagri and Aru K Verma are also well-cast for the distinct roles. Aruna Irani plays an old widow in the show.
The supporting cast is good. Happy’s dialogues are sensible, funny, and thought-provoking.
The story gets intriguing with each episode. The characterization differences between Chintu and Rocky are worth watching. They share a strong bond. The brotherly love will be tested when the love triangle begins.
The series brings good detailing in almost every character, be it Happy’s uncle Pratap, or Happy’s mother Sandhya. Chintu’s dad and Biji are also seen sharing their health issues. The focus gets evenly divided among all the characters, which brings a natural appeal.
Happy Hearts On Star Life Full Story summary
Happy Mehra is a free-spirited middle-class girl. Rocky Khosla is a playboy and an arrogant goon. His elder kind-hearted brother Chintu falls in love with Happy and befriends her. Happy constantly fighting with Rocky. She and Chintu get married as she learns about his feelings. However, Chintu dies in an accident.
Late Chintu and Rocky’s father Kulwant blame Rocky and disown him. Rocky sets up a hotel to fulfill Chintu’s dream. Happy joins him; they slowly become friends.
Then comes the entry of Ranvijay Shroff, a dapper famous lawyer fighting for the righteousness of society who starts falling for Happy. Rocky is falsely accused of molesting Happy’s sister Smiley and jailed for ten years.
3 Years Later
Happy is running the hotel successfully and has a friendship with Ranvijay. After escaping from jail, Rocky is jealous of seeing them together and proves his innocence. He realizes his feelings for Happy and decides to confess them.
Obsessed with Happy, Ranvijay dies after killing his brother Ranveer and girlfriend Anaya. Happy fakes her death to leave the city and leaves Rocky is heartbroken.
6 Years Later
Happy is an RJ, known as Khushi (which is the Hindi word for ‘Happy’). Rocky has a wife Harleen but hates her and still mourns Happy. Harleen hates their son Honey as she never wanted a child. Honey runs away and meets Happy who looks after him. She finds out about him being Rocky’s son. Rocky learns that Happy is alive. Kumar tries to shoot Honey. Harleen comes in between to save him and dies. Happy proposes to Rocky and they get married.
