Bound By Love On StarLife Friday 9th January 2026 Update, Ritesh kisses his mother’s hand and smiles at her. Zoon tells Ritesh that now that he has said sorry to his mother, he should feed her because she is hungry. Ritesh smiles, takes the food from the caretaker, and starts feeding his mother. Both Ritesh and Shakuntala get emotional. He asks his mother to rest and says that the next day they will go on a long drive together. He tells her “I love you” and kisses her forehead.

Zoon smiles while watching all this. Anjali suddenly realizes Zoon is not with her and starts searching for her. She gets worried when she receives a call from Indu, who asks when they are returning and even offers to pick them up. Anjali refuses and says they will be back in a few minutes, then cuts the call. She continues looking for Zoon.
Anjali bumps into Rahul, and they both share an intense eye lock. Dolly arrives and asks what is happening. Rahul helps Anjali get up, but Anjali scolds him. Dolly asks Anjali who she is, and Anjali introduces herself as Zoon’s aunt, saying they came to meet Ritesh.
On the other side, Ritesh tells Zoon that she has no idea how happy she has made him. He says that because of her, he feels light after so many years and calls her an angel. He then asks why she wanted to meet him. Zoon tells him that she came to talk about Indu, leaving Ritesh thoughtful.
Indu cooks food for everyone and wonders why Zoon and Anjali have not returned yet. Zoon and Anjali finally come home, and Zoon calls Indu. Indu asks why they are so late. Zoon tells her that Ritesh will attend her office Independence Day celebration the next day. Indu gets shocked and recalls everything that happened before. She kneels in front of Zoon, kisses her hand, and asks why she did this. Zoon says she just wants to help her. Indu asks both Zoon and Anjali to freshen up so they can have dinner together, but her strange behavior worries everyone.
Anjali asks Indu if she is unhappy with what Zoon did for her. Indu says it is not like that and walks into the kitchen. Sunita shares her concern about Indu’s behavior. While washing utensils, Indu recalls the insults Kaamna threw at her and looks lost. Rajender comes and closes the tap, asking Indu what is wrong. She tries to hide it, but Rajender tells her that a daughter can never lie to her father. Indu breaks down and says the entire day was bad, filled with insults and accusations for no reason.
Rajender advises Indu to forget everything and enjoy how the day is ending. He also tells her that her reaction toward Zoon was not right when she heard about Ritesh attending the celebration. Indu says she has planned something special for Zoon and hugs her father. Rajender encourages her.
Vivek and Anjali take Zoon outside, while Asha also follows them. Sunita and Rajender remove the blindfold from Zoon’s eyes. Music starts playing, and Indu, Vivek, Asha, Anjali, and a few society kids dance in the rain. Zoon gets super happy. Rahul joins the dance too. The next day, Kadambari is shocked to see Sameer’s gift for her, which is the poem she wrote during her college days. She says she has lost trust in men, so it is not easy for her to accept Sameer’s efforts. On the other side, Kamash tells the guests that it is Indu, his assistant, who helped arrange everything when they praise him. The Rainas arrive, and Zoon asks Indu when Ritesh will come. Indu tells her he will arrive at 9:45.
Ritesh goes to Shakuntala’s room and tells her that they will attend the flag hoisting first. After that, they will go for a long drive. Before leaving, he says he will attend the society’s Independence Day celebration and asks the caretaker to prepare everything for Shakuntala and bring her down when he calls. Kadambari gets furious on learning that Ritesh is attending Indu’s office celebration and decides to go there to find out why he ignored her interview.
Kamash introduces his granddaughter Priya to Indu and thanks her for making Priya happy. Indu says it was not her effort but Zoon’s. On the other side, Kaamna brings Shakuntala downstairs. While waiting for the lift, Pankaj arrives and insults Shakuntala. He then gets angry at Kaamna for saying she has to answer Ritesh for being late. He forcefully pulls Kaamna’s hand and the wheelchair slips from her grip. Both Kaamna and Pankaj look on in shock.

Payal asks Indu why she lied to Kamash. Indu says she did it because she knows Ritesh will come to the event. On the other side, Ritesh asks Kaamna how his mother fell from the stairs. Kaamna says she lost her balance, but Ritesh shouts at her. Indu tells Vivek and Zoon that the Independence Day celebration will happen for sure, even if Ritesh does not attend.
