Between You And Me on zee one Thursday 19th January 2023 update, Devina asking Vallabh whom does he want to meet. He says Akhilesh. She asks him to leave, Akhilesh is marrying a Gujarati girl. She goes. He says I came to ask him why did he settle my loans, if he marrying Ira, I will call Ira and ask. His phone battery gets down. Vallabh says I will go and find out. Pushpa sends the bride and groom’s name board out. She blesses Akhilesh. She says I wish Birju was here, I m not upset. She taunts Devina. Ira comes. Pushpa compliments her. Devina asks Ira about her family.

Indu comes and says I m here, I m her Kaka. Devina says you should be ashamed to keep her uneducated. He says she has life’s experience, I m her namesake Kaka, I have come as her dad couldn’t come. Pushpa welcomes him. Vallabh goes inside. He gets shocked seeing Ira’s name on the board. He rushes in and sees Akhilesh and Pushpa. He goes to him. Indu catches Vallabh and takes him out. Akhilesh worries.
Bhavik asks Ira to get ready fast. Akhilesh says your dad has come here. Ira gets shocked. Bhavik says they will kill us. Ira says dad can blame Indu for this, I have to blame him. Vallabh scolds Indu for ruining his life. He says I have raised you along Ira, did you forget everything. He asks him how could he support Ira. Indu says I agreed for this marriage as I can’t see Ira behind bars, its my dream too to see her become a doctor, yes we lied to you for a reason, we were hiding Ira’s mistake. Vallabh asks what mistake did she do.
Indu says Ira has done a vasectomy operation on Akhilesh by mistake, his marriage broke because of her mistake, she has seen Akhilesh begging to girl’s family, Akhilesh’s posters made the city laugh on him, he lost his job, Ira tried a lot to get the reverse operation, Pushpa was going to die because of Ira’s mistake, Ira is doing this to repent. Vallabh gets shocked. Indu says this is a drama going on, its not any real marriage, this is a try to get Akhilesh’s lost respect back, Ira will arrange money for his reverse operation.
Vallabh says fine, is marriage a joke, I met Pushpa, she has narrow thinking, she will ruin Ira’s life, I can’t see this, call Ira. Ira and Bhavik come there. Vallabh sees her and says I know everything, you did a mistake, marriage is not a solution, come with me. Ira says sorry, I can’t agree to you, mistake doesn’t make any person small, one who runs away from repentance becomes a small person, how will I become a good doctor. He says Pushpa wants an uneducated bahu, I didn’t make you a doctor to do this. She says I will repent for my mistake, with or without your blessing.
He says I need courage, I have fallen alone, I have no daughter, son and brother from today. He angrily leaves. Ira cries. Indu and Bhavik console her. Vallabh says my family ruined my hardwork. Akhilesh stops him and puts his pagdi in his feet. He says I know what you are going through, I assure you this is just a drama, Ira is your daughter, she is doing this for Pushpa’s life. Vallabh says I will never bless her to get ruined, you don’t know how much one has to work hard to become doctor, she had one dream since childhood, she wanted to become a doctor, that dream will break because of you. He scolds Ira. Ira gets ready. Akhilesh says I will never go against my promise, I promise this marriage won’t affect her studies, I will support her, I will never see her as a wife, she will become a doctor, just support her, I request you. Vallabh goes.
Ira thinking of Vallabh. Akhilesh comes. She asks him not to console. He says you don’t need to marry me by getting helpless, I value a father, I always missed my dad and stayed independent, when I met my dad, I found him a liar, I m glad he didn’t raise me, why are you leaving your dad, he is everything for you, don’t leave a true relation for this fake relation, I may live with vasectomy stain, but I can’t live with the burden of your tears, you can take your decision.
Lakhan jokes on Bhoomi and Siddhi. Devina asks Pushpa to focus on attending guests. The lady says Pushpa found a beautiful girl for Akhilesh in two days, maybe guests didn’t come as Akhilesh’s marriage has no future. Devina hears the ladies. Siddhi says let them try, remember the
marriage won’t happen, I have a plan, I will make the bride faint, marriage will get cancelled.
Ira thinks of Vallabh and Akhilesh’s words. She goes to bathroom and washes her face. Bhoomi and Siddhi spray inside the bathroom and think Ira has fainted. Media comes. Pushpa and Devina try to act united to get Birju’s attention. Siddhi asks Devina to let Pushpa speak to media, she won’t be able to speak from now on. Akhilesh thinks how will I explain Pushpa if Ira really goes. Bhavik says Ira is not in the room. He thinks where did Ira go. Devina says Ira has run away, its a disaster. Bhavik says just mum can give her strength at this time. Ira is on the way. She says before they know about me, I will ask Bhavik to leave from there. She calls Bhavik. He sends her mum’s recording. Ira hears the recording. She cries and says what about dad’s dreams. Her mum says he would want to make you a successful doctor, but you can fulfill his dream by fulfilling duties towards your marriage, his anger will end when you show him success, its my promise. Ira cries.
Pushpa says Ira is here, she won’t go. Devina asks where is she. They argue. Pushpa cries. Akhilesh worries. Ira comes back and says I have gone to tie the thread to banyan tree, so that no hurdle arises in marriage, sorry I didn’t tell you. Pushpa smiles. Akhilesh sees her. Bhavik says you should have told us. Ira says I had run away, but I got strength by hearing mum’s voice. Akhilesh asks do you want to do this marriage or not. She promises she won’t move back. They sit in the mandap. She prays that she is doing this to repent. He prays as he is doing this just for Pushpa’s sake.
Bhavik getting a pandit home. He tells Ira that this pandit for the couple married in tv serials. Pandit chants fake mantras. Pushpa realizes this and corrects pandit. They argue. She says you are fraud, I m groom’s mum, just leave. She goes to beat him. He runs away. Devina and her children laugh. Pushpa asks who got him. Devina says bravo, you made fake pandit run, its about Akhilesh’s future, sorry this marriage got cancelled. Pushpa says no, Akhilesh’s marriage will happen. Devina says but pandit has run away. Pushpa says I will chant mantra and get them marriage, I will chant real mantras, they will always be together. Akhilesh and Ira worry.
Pushpa chants the mantras. Bhoomi and Siddhi find ways to help Devina. Siddhi says we have to stop the marriage in 10 mins. She gets an idea and says sindoor…. Bhavik says I will feed chilli to Pushpa, she can’t say mantra then. Siddhi says Pushpa will consume sindoor and can’t talk then. Indu asks Bhavik to add chilli. Bhoomi asks shall I do this. Bhavik adds chilli in kachori. Bhoomi gets sindoor. They collide. He says sorry. He calls her angel. He compliments her. Devina asks what’s happening. He says its kachori for Pushpa. She says I will eat it, let me see if you can stop me. She eats kachori and shouts. He runs. Bhoomi gives the sindoor drink to Devina. Devina’s voice goes.
Indu scolds Bhavik. He says I didn’t get the fake pandit, how will marriage stop. Devina beats Bhoomi. Pushpa asks groom and bride to exchange varmala. Akhilesh says I don’t know what to do. Pushpa asks them to talk later. Bhavik lifts Ira and asks Akhilesh to work hard to make her wear garland. Akhilesh asks shall we drop this ritual. Lakhan and Chandu lift Akhilesh. Ira and Akhilesh exchange garlands.
