Between You And Me on zee one Thursday 18th may 2023 update, Devina saying I have to make Monu out of the house. She gets a call from her well wisher and rushes to know Monu’s secret. She sees Monu going out secretly. She goes to tell this to Pushpa. She asks Pushpa to come fast. Monu was going out, they have to follow him. Pushpa asks what do you mean to say. Devina asks her to just come. They go out and see Monu leaving.

Devina says he is fooling us. Mishri calls out Maapu. Devina asks whom is he calling if he is an orphan. They hide and see Monu meeting Ira. They get shocked. Ira sees them hiding and says I missed you, its fine, you have made Akhilesh your dad. Mishri says I did what you told me, even then… Ira says I m very happy that you convinced Akhilesh. Pushpa cries seeing them. Ira says our plan worked, I trust
you, you are my blood, like you won everyone’s heart, you will get everything here, go before anyone sees you. Mishri asks can I call uncle as dad. Ira nods. Mishri goes. Ira feels sad to cheat Mishri. She acts and says my son will make me reach Akhilesh’s richness, Akhilesh be ready, I m going to come back in your life soon.
Pushpa claps and confronts her planning. Ira says it doesn’t matter, Akhilesh will adopt Monu. Pushpa says I will see how this happens. Ira cries. Akhilesh thinks of Ira. Mishri comes to him. She tells her story to Akhilesh. Akhilesh says I feel this story’s hero is you. Mishri says you are very smart Papa. Akhilesh asks what did you say, Papa? Mishri says Papa, why, didn’t you like it, I like to call you Bapu, but people here will laugh hearing this. Akhilesh asks her not to think of people and call him Bapu. Mishri says Bapu. Akhilesh gets happy and excited. He says with whom shall I share my happiness, everyone is sleeping, Bahadur would be awake. He calls out Bahadur. Ira runs to hide and answers. She asks him not to come ahead, she is doing some puja. Akhilesh says fine, continue your puja. Ira asks didn’t you sleep. He tells Ira about Monu giving happiness and Ira giving him sorrow. Ira cries. He says I feel I have a heart even today which beats, Monu called me Bapu, old Akhilesh is alive even today. Ira cries. He says continue your puja, I will go and sleep. He goes.
Its morning, Pushpa thinks who is in kitchen at this time. She sees Akhilesh cooking food for Monu. She recalls Ira. Akhilesh calls out Monu. Pushpa says I need to talk to you. He says we will first have food, Monu come down, I have a surprise for you. Kunika comes and greets them. Devina asks her to wait and watch. Lawyer comes and asks Akhilesh to sign the papers of adoption. Akhilesh goes to sign. Mishri and Vansh come. Akhilesh asks Monu to have food. Pushpa and Devina look on. Pushpa tears the papers and shocks Akhilesh. She says I won’t let you adopt this boy. She sends the lawyer. Mishri asks did I do any mistake. Pushpa scolds her. Ira as Bahadur looks on. Pushpa asks Monu to get out. Kunika smiles.
Akhilesh says you know Monu is an orphan, why are you being so rude. Devina says don’t get fooled, this boy is very clever. Mishri says no, I m not clever. Pushpa asks Monu to swear and say that his mum has died. Devina asks Monu to swear it that he is an orphan. Mishri sees Ira. Pushpa asks Monu to swear. Mishri says I can’t swear because my mum is alive. Akhilesh gets shocked. Devina says his mum has planted him in our house so that he wins your heart. Kunika says this is insane, shameful. Mishri says no, I just came for your love. Pushpa scolds her and asks her to just leave. Mishri asks Akhilesh to believe her. Akhilesh scolds her and says once trust breaks, it can’t be joined, you played with our feelings for the sake of love. He gets angry on Mishri and gives her a blank cheque to fill amount. Devina insults Mishri. Mishri takes the cheque and says I write what I want. She writes Bapu. She says I just want Bapu. Akhilesh tears the cheque and says I m not your dad. Aditya asks Mishri to just leave. Akhilesh says we don’t care for Monu now. Mishri cries.
Akhilesh tells Monu / Mishri to pick her bags and leave. Mishri picks her bag tearfully. Akhilesh’s photo falls down. She is keeping it back inside when Akhilesh takes it from her. You don’t need to take it with you! Mishri walks out of the house. Ira looks on sadly.
Ira follows Mishri outside and calls out to her. She hugs her daughter. Mishri asks her why Akhilesh is upset with her. My dream broke. I couldn’t make him my Bapu. He hates me because of my one lie! What should I do? I committed a sin! God wont let me in even in hell now. Ira tells her she will take it on her head. Mishri denies. Akhilesh was in tears because of me today. I wont be able to forgive myself ever. Go and check on him. Please stop him from crying. I cannot see tears in his eyes. Ira reasons she cannot go
upstairs but Mishri insists. Ira hugs her. Go to service quarters. I will check Akhilesh. Mishri complies. Ira apologizes ot her mentally. It was important to push you away from Akhilesh to protect you. I am sorry!
Kunika and Devnia watch Akhilesh throw things angrily in his room. Akhilesh wonders why such people come in his life time and again! He cheated me in return of the love I gave him! Devina and Kunika high-five. They go serious noticing Pushpa there. Pushpa asks them if they had a word with Akhilesh. Kunika denies. I want to but I cannot gather courage to talk to him. Devina agrees that she has never seen Akhilesh so angry. Akhilesh does not let even his mother stay / talk to him. Devina and Kunika run downstairs. Pushpa closes the door sadly. She cries and hits herself on her face repeatedly. Ira watches her thus and stops her. Why are you hurting yourself? Pushpa replies that she should be punished worse. I broke my son’s heart. I cannot see him in this condition! I found out yesterday only that Monu / Mishri is my son’s kid from his first wife. How would I let him be near his Hanikarak wife or her kid again! We don’t know who would have sent him here! Ira tells her to handle herself. Pushpa rues that she was happy that a kid could melt her son’s heart finally but that kid proved out to be a cheater like his mother. I don’t think my son will ever open up before any kid ever again! Ira says whatever happens, happens for good. Pushpa blames Ira for all that has gone wrong in Akhilesh’s life. Now Akhilesh wont agree to adopt any kid in future. You were right though. Whatever happens, happens for good. I have an idea to make Akhilesh happy. She heads downstairs. Ira thinks they should marry Akhilesh to Kunika asap. Only she will be able to make him happy now.
Devina, Kunika and Devina’s son do cheers. Kunika is happy that she will have Akhilesh’s property now. Devina’s son reminds her to leave something in their name too. Devina tells him Kunika knows it well. Kunika dismisses the topic. She notices Pushpa there and pretends that she isn’t interested in drinking. Pushpa agrees that this is a bad thing which cannot make anyone happy. She requests Devina to return her son his happiness. She tells Kunika that Akhilesh’s semen was stored before he had an operation. A baby was born using it. Only Devina knows who that woman is. She keeps a big bag in front of Devina. Take all this money and whatever you want. Just make meet Akhilesh’s baby once. You are my last hope now! She walks away. Kunika is shocked but Devina is too excited about the money. Devina and her son tell her that they only know that there was a woman but we don’t know who that woman or baby is. Kunika understands that they were blackmailing Pushpa. Devina agrees. From where will we find a baby now?
Ira tells someone to tell the landlord in Pune that they are coming tomorrow. She notices Mishri sitting sadly by the window. We will be very happy once we go to Pune. I have to give my final handover now and then we will leave. Mishri continues crying. Ira asks her to eat something but Mishri replies that even Akhilesh wouldn’t have eaten anything. He never eats when he is upset. Ira sits near Mishri. You cannot solve a problem by avoiding food. Mishri refuses to eat anything till the time Akhilesh eats. Ira offers to make him eat first. Mishri agrees but remains firm on her condition.
Ira comes to Akhilesh’s room with a plate of food. She tells him to eat something but he replies that his stomach is full. I have been cheated enough. Ira tells him to eat for Pushpa’s sake. Akhilesh is about to take a bite when he notices Vansh putting photos of emoji’s all over his room. Vansh even lights incense to brighten his mood. Akhilesh holds his head. Ira compliments Vansh. You are very smart. Vansh tells her it is Monu’s idea. He wrote me a letter writing what I should do whenever Mamu is upset. He tells his Mamu to trust Monu. He isn’t a liar. He loves you for real. Akhilesh tells him to be quiet but Vansh keeps talking. Ira intervenes and sends Vansh downstairs. Akhilesh removes the photos. I don’t know why I only meet cheaters in life! Ira turns him around and hugs him. Akhilesh is taken aback. Ira says this helps in relieving the pain. Akhilesh hugs her back. Ira mentally apologizes to him. I dint wish to add on to your pain. I want to relieve you of your pain by hugging you for the last time today. They part from their hug. Ira takes leave for him on the pretext of some Nepali function. Akhilesh allows her. Ira prays he is safe and happy. I am seeing you for the last time. I hope you don’t come across any trouble ever. She touches his feet before leaving from the room.
Next morning, Pushpa is doing Maha Shivratri puja. She prays that her son finds his happiness again. He loves and respects you so much. I am afraid he will stop believing in love. Please accept my prayer. Unite him with his real baby.
Pushpa has made halwa for Akhilesh. It will make him happy. Akhilesh comes downstairs while talking on phone but his mother asks him to eat first. He tells her he has to work to divert his mind from Monu. Don’t wait for me tonight. I will be late. Saying so, he walks out of the house.
Devina and her son are about to sit down excitedly when Pushpa hits her on her back. She warns them not to touch the food till the time they find out Akhilesh’s baby. Devina tells her they are working on it but Kunika tells Pushpa she has the baby. Kunika brings a boy with him calling him Akhilesh’s son. He is your grandson. Pushpa gets emotional. The boy touches her feet. Pushpa and Devina ask her how she found him. Kunika lies that she met the lab guy and found the records. It is written that the sample donor is Akhilesh. Pushpa talks to the boy emotionally. She hugs the boy Bablu. Devina asks Pushpa to take her grandson to the temple to seek Lord’s blessings. Pushpa takes Bablu with her. Devina asks Kunika about the boy. Kunika replies that she got the boy on rent for a day. Just wait and watch!
Ira keeps the bags in the cupboard. I am going to the hospital. We will leave for Pune in a while. Mishri is lost. Ira asks her why she is so sad. We will be very happy there. We will make new friends and enjoy a lot there. I will love you so much that you wont miss anyone. How to bring a smile on your face now? Mishri asks her if she can get her Akhilesh’s photo. Ira declines and leaves for hospital. Mishri wonders if she cannot even keep a photo of Akhilesh with her. She hears Akhilesh’s voice and gets excited. She stealthily walks till the window and peeks at Akhilesh. God gave me a great idea. I can make his photo in my mind. I will keep it in my heart forever. She does an imaginary click and smiles.
Pushpa smiles through her tears as Bablu calls her Badi Amma. Pushpa decides to call Akhilesh but Kunika advises her against it. He is not in a state of mind to believe it. We should do a DNA test to confirm the facts to him. She explains Pushpa about the test. Pushpa tells her to take Bablu’s hair sample and goes to bring Akhilesh’s hair sample from his room. Devina questions Kunika as to what she is up to.
Mishri is having a tough time drawing Akhilesh’s sketch.
Devina is impressed by the plan. The test will prove that this isn’t Akhilesh’s kid and he cannot become a father anyways. We will also tell that the sample got lost in the lab. Devina’s son tells Bablu to comb his hair and put the sample in the bag. Devina’s son refuses to touch him. Vansh holds Bablu’s hand when he is about to comb his hair. Pushpa introduces him to Bablu but Vansh tells them that no one can take Monu’s place in the house. He runs away with the brush. He cleans the brush in a corner and throws the samples away. He is passing from Mishri’s room when he notices her lost in thought. She tells him she is going to Pune today. They hug. He requests her not to go. I will miss you very much. She says I have hurt Mogambo uncle. God wont let me stay even in hell for that. Vansh requests him not to go. Look at your hair. He hands her his brush. She ties her hair.
Kunika calls out to Vansh. Mishri returns the brush to him and hides before Kunika can see him. Kunika warns Vansh not to show tantrums to her. You saw how I kicked Monu out of the house! She takes the brush from him and calls Pushpa. I have Bablu and Akhilesh’s sample. I will send them to lab. She ends the call. The result will be negative. It will break Pushpa Pandey’s heart. Akhilesh will then marry me.
A guy delivers the reports at Pandey House. Kunika is about to read it but Pushpa wants Bablu to read it. It is Mahadev’s blessings. She asks for Bablu. Kunika shares that she sent him back. We have to keep him away till the time Akhilesh is back. Pushpa wants her grandson to be here when the good news is read out before everyone. Kunika and Devina go to bring Bablu.
Vansh asks Pushpa why she seems so excited. Pushpa says I am holding a packet which I cannot wait to open. She lets Vansh read it. Vansh shares that the DNA test has matched. Pushpa says it means Bablu is Akhilesh’s son. Vansh gets thinking. How can it be? Pushpa says we took his hair sample. It matched with Akhilesh’s hair sample. Vansh recalls letting Mishri comb her hair before Kunika took the brush from him. He tells Pushpa that the hair sample wasn’t of Bablu but someone else. He takes Pushpa with her to show who it was. Pushpa is surprised as Vansh brings her in Mishri’s room. Vansh tells Pushpa that Mishri’s mom has gone out. She left Mishri here as everyone was worried. It was her hair on the brush. It has matched with Akhilesh’s DNA. Pushpa is boggled. Is Mishri Akhilesh’s daughter? Mishri’s eyes widen in shock.
Vansh nods. I cleaned it well when I took the brush from Bablu. Mishri combed her hair next after which Kunika snatched it from me. The sample on the brush was Mishri’s. It matches with Mamu’s DNA. Mishri asks them what a DNA match means. Vansh tells her.
