Between You And Me on zee one Sunday 25th June 2023 update, Pushpa asks her to see it but Ira says I am tensed about the event. You guys should go home. My turn might come in evening. Her family refuses. Ira even turns rude which shocks everyone. My stress will increase if you guys will roam around me like this! Please go home. She realises that the belt of the bomb has loosened. I must adjust it before someone sees it. She goes.

Pushpa wonders why Ira seemed so upset. She has never spoken to me like this. This isn’t about function but something else which is gnawing at her! Devina says she has become famous now. She thinks too much of herself suddenly and is showing us attitude. Come! Mishri stands there with a sad face. Pushpa tries to cheer her up.
Minister comes to the function. Terrorist asks his junior where he is. Who will make preps
here? His junior tells him that Akhilesh followed him to their hideout. I was taking care of him only! Terrorist tells him to finish Akhilesh before he messes their plan. His junior happily agrees. They end the call. Akhilesh picks a can lying nearby and sprays it in the eyes of the junior terrorist. He asks him what he wants to accomplish through Ira. The terrorist refuses but Akhilesh threatens to shoot him. He ends up telling Akhilesh everything. Akhilesh says Ira cannot do anything like this. He tells him to see it himself. He recalls how Ira was acting strange in the morning. She even lied that she was wearing a belt to soothe her back pain. It is true that she has been used by these people as human bomb! I wont let anything happen to her. The junior terrorist requests Akhilesh to let him go but Akhilesh hits him on his head thereby making him unconscious. He next ties his hands and guns. Ira cannot do this even against her will!
The award function starts. Ira’s family gets happy thinking Ira will be called on stage right away. They see Ira returning to the function and tell her that she will be called on stage soon. Ira asks them why they are still here. Pushpa and Mishri tell her that they will watch it live and then on TV. Devina thinks her expensive saree will not be seen in any byte now. Pushpa wont let me take any limelight. She pushes Vansh towards Pushpa and her saree gets dirty. Pushpa goes to clean herself. Devina asks everyone to come. Mishri asks for Bapu. Devina says he cannot miss this function. She takes the kids inside. She tells Ira that she cannot fathom why she does not want them to go inside. Ira thinks the time has come. Terrorist looks on.
While going inside, Mishri drops ice cream on Devina’s saree. She too goes to clean herself up. She collides with Pushpa on her way in. Pushpa enjoys teasing her now. The washroom is packed. Devina uses tissues to clean her saree. Pushpa notices Ira’s bag lying nearby. Devina walks away paying no attention to her words. Pushpa picks Ira’s bag but it falls on the floor. A gun falls out from her bag. Pushpa is stunned to see the contents of Ira’s bag. Is Ira in some danger? She goes to look for Ira.
Terrorist is unhappy as Akhilesh found out about their hideout. He collides with Mishri as he turns. He talks rudely to her. She gives him fitting replies. She notices his fake beard coming off and tells him. He fixes it back but by now she has realised that he is a terrorist! I cannot risk Mapu’s life. I will tell her everything. He covers her mouth before she can flee from there.
Akhilesh pulls Ira to a corner. Pushpa notices them and follows them outside. Ira asks Akhilesh to leave her. What are you doing? The function is about to start. We have made preps for it. let me go. He asks her if there is any other intention behind it. I know everything! I know you are a human bomb right now! Her eyes widen in shock. He says you will kill innocents along with yourself. Why dint you tell me that the terrorists were threatening you? You could have told me once. She tells him it is too late. I wont let anything happen to our family. Let me go. He shouts that nothing will happen to anyone. We cannot bow down like cowards. You should have told me! She shouts that nothing will work now. They are very strong. Our family will be safe only if you let me go. She receives a call from the terrorist. He tells her to tell him clearly that you wont follow their plan. She puts the call on speaker. Akhilesh threatens the terrorist instead. My wife wont do anything that you say! I will make sure you guys hang! Terrorist says Ira will do it or you will lose your beloved daughter. Mishri requests her parents to save her. Terrorist tells Ira to reach the auditorium asap or he will kill Mishri. Mishri keeps repeating that she is very scared. Please save me. Ira refuses to let anything happen to Mishri. She starts running towards the auditorium when he blocks her way. Will you risk the lives of so many people for your daughter? I wont let you anything wrong. I wont let you be harmed. She asks him to step aside. he tries to reassure her that he wont let anything happen to her or Mishri. She tells him to understand that they are very dangerous people. I will save her. She reaches near the door when he shouts at her to stop. I will shoot otherwise! Pushpa looks on from far.
Ira tells Akhilesh she must go inside. He stays put. I wont let you do this. He shoots a bullet in air. Ira and Pushpa are shocked but Ira is undeterred. He requests Ira not to take a step further. She says I know you. You wont be able to harm me. He says I also know that you wont be able to kill innocents.
Terrorist brings Mishri to his hideout. She asks him why he has brought her here. Where is my Mapu, Bapu? He ties her to a chair. He thinks to do something to bring Akhilesh and Ira at the right spot so his plan works. Mishri requests him not to harm so many people or he wont get even a place in Hell. This irks him more. She shouts for help as he steps outside.
It starts raining. Akhilesh chases Ira with the gun. She tells him to stop. He tells her not to take any step further or he will be forced to shoot. She switches on the button. It will blast in a minute! I must go inside. Pushpa asks Ira what this is. Akhilesh stops her and gives last warning to Ira. He shoots her in the stomach. The bomb explodes. Akhilesh shouts Ira’s name.
Voiceover:
The house shook completely since Ira left. The remaining hope could have also withered away if it wasn’t for Mishri.
Mishri is making a sculpture.
Seeing her toil so hard, it seems like a heavy prayer is going to be made.
Mishri has made a Bajrang Bali. I have heard that you accept the prayer of those who make your idol with a pure heart. It is 1st. Bapu will come home today. I will see him after 3 months. I have heard that he has changed a lot since Mapu left us. Just make meet him once. Strong wind starts blowing. The garland on Ira’s photo shifts. Mishri throws it away angrily. I have told them that Mapu isn’t dead but they don’t listen to me! Vansh says Mapu has become a star but I am certain she will come home some day. I haven’t spoken to Bapu
since 2150 hours. You have to unite us today.
Voiceover:
I hope every kid had such a strong belief. How can I break the trust of my young devotee?
A flower falls. Mishri recognizes it as Bajrang Bali’s hint. She runs to make Kheer for Akhilesh but there is no milk. She goes to market and takes Ira’s photo with her.
Mishri is speaking to Ira’s photo all along. A couple recognizes Ira from her photo. They call Ira a terrorist. Mishri tries to defend her but the couple gathers more people on their side. The lady snatches Ira’s photo out of Mishri’s hands. Mishri falls down. They throw Ira’s photo on the ground. The guy is about to stomp over it when Mishri keeps her hand above it. She cleans the broken frame. I wont let anything happen to Mapu. She runs holding the photo but collides with a coconut vendor. That same lady is about to slap her when a lady holds her hand. Don’t you dare touch my daughter! She wipes Mishri’s tears. The lady questions her about Ira. The new lady says Mishri isn’t at fault for what Ira did. No one will touch my daughter! They ask her how she is related to Mishri. Tanya introduces herself as Tanya Pandey. What if Ira is no more, no one can even touch my daughter till the time I am alive! Leave or I will send everyone to jail. She takes Mishri with her.
Mishri is still thinking about what happened at the market but does not allow it to spoil her mood. I have to be happy. Bapu is coming after so long. I should be happy. Doorbell rings. She gets excited thinking it will be Akhilesh but the door is locked. She bangs at the door and shouts for help. I have to meet my Bapu. He will leave otherwise! Please open the door.
Tanya opens the door for Akhilesh. She keeps her hand on his shoulder but he shifts. She says I know your wounds are too deep yet you came for Ira Didi’s shanty puja. He tells her to sit in the puja. You have handled every responsibility since Ira left. My companies have been locked down but we still have this house. You have taken very good care of Mishri. She requests him to stay to meet Mishri atleast but he keeps a bundle of money in her hand to take care of the house and its people. On the other hand, Adi opens the door. Mishri runs downstairs. Akhilesh stops at the door but then leaves with a heavy heart. Tanya stops Mishri by holding her hand. Mishri requests her to leave her hand. Bapu must be around. I have to meet him. Tanya asks her if she will die if she wont see her Bapu for few days. How much drama will you do? She drapes her saree differently. Who opened your door? Adi asks her if she had locked Mishri. She nods. Use your brain sometimes. Entire property is in your brother’s name! I wonder why I married you. Mishri requests her Chachi to let go of her hand. Bapu must be near the gate. I have to meet him. Tanya asks her if she will complain to Akhilesh as to what all they make her do. Mishri denies. I just want to meet him once. Let go of my hand or! She bites on her hand. Adi manages to get hold of her just in time. Tanya slaps her. I will make you work so hard today that you wont be able to show me attitude! You wont get food before you complete every household chore. Mishri goes inside sadly.
Adi asks Tanya if it is hurting. She replies that she is fed up of this drama. He says we have to do this to fool Akhilesh. This is why he keeps money in your hands every month. She says I cannot do this anymore. He pacifies her and takes her inside. Mishri is cleaning the floor. She folds her hands before Bajrang Bali. You dint listen to me this time also. I only wanted to meet Bapu once. I would have told him Chachi’s truth if I had met him! She has even got me out of school. Vansh wipes her tears. I told you I will teach you whatever the teacher will teach in the class! She says I am crying as I couldn’t meet Bapu today too. She hugs him. He shares that he has something through which she can meet Mamu. He shows her a pamphlet in which Akhilesh’s photo is printed. He is supposed to be at a hotel at around 3. Mishri smiles. What will he be doing there? Vansh guesses that there might be a conference. She rues that Tanya isn’t letting her step out of the house. Vansh tells her his plan. He comes back with a wig. I will work as Mishri here. Tanya wont know anything then! Mishri says thank you with a hug. He gives her his phone as well to contact in case of any emergency. She nods and runs.

Mishri reaches the hotel. She also sees Akhilesh’s posters everywhere. She reaches the auditorium where the program is supposed to happen. She is confused seeing the surroundings but then finds out that Akhilesh is standing in a boxing ring. What kind of an Akhada is this?
