Between You And Me on zee one Saturday 15th July 2023 update, Chuttan and Mishri’s dance. Mishri is pretty energetic. Chuttan gets an idea. He takes a hand mirror from his friend and points it at Mishri. She ends up slipping and hurts her leg. Chuttan asks her if she became a falling star. I won! Mishri tells him he cheated but he tells her not to cry if she has lost.

This is the reason why I don’t play with girls! You wont get anything here. Leave! This is mine now! She refuses to let him take her Mapu’s purse but he insists that it is for his Mother India. They both struggle for the purse. He bites on her hand to snatch it out of her hands and runs. Vansh stops her from chasing Chuttan and his friends. We will tell Mamu everything. He will help us. At home, Akhilesh is unable to reach Ramavatar. Ira tells him to relax. It was a kid! Akhilesh reasons that a kid isn’t supposed to steal. Ira reasons that Devina dint give him money. He might have picked up stuff to get a reaction from us. Vansh holds Mishri as they enter. He is a very naughty kid. Her family members ask her how she got hurt. She shares that that kid (Chuttan) is responsible for her condition. They tell them everything in details. Akhilesh decides to teach him a lesson. How dare he hurt Mishri? He does not let Ira intervene. He should be punished for his misbehaviour! Tell me his address.
Ramavatar slaps Chuttan and beats him. Chanda tries to save him but Ramavatar is miffed. Chuttan reasons that that family dint pay him for the idol so he stole some stuff from their house. Your bag had holes so I got you a new one. Ramavatar cries. Why did I get a son like you? What sins did I commit? Chuttan says my friends say the opposite. Ramavatar lifts a stick again but Chanda stops him. He tells her not to spoil him so much. I have been telling you that this boy will go to jail once! He stole stuff from such a big house! We will be sent to jail one day. He starts coughing. Chanda cares for him. She looks at the purse and smiles. My son cares so much about me. She opens the purse and is stunned to see Ira’s ID card. She is that doctor! It means Chuttan went to her house? She panics. What if she or her family come here looking for him? I cannot let her come close to Chuttan. She might have given birth to him but he is my son. She sets fire to the ID. Ramavatar asks her where she is going. She lies that she has to go to work as some guests are coming at Sir’s house. He tells her to come soon. She leaves. Someone knocks the door. Ramavatar is shocked to see police at his doorstep. Inspector tells him to come to Akhilesh’s house with them right away. Ramavatar thinks he was sure it was bound to happen. I must get rid of him now.
Chuttan is playing with marbles with his friends outside. He wins all the marbles and jumps in joy. He asks for big marbles now. His friends get tensed. What if Chuttan wins them as well? Their fear comes true. Ramavatar pulls his ears. Chuttan tells him he was about to win when his father drags him with him. Police came to our home to take you! I kept telling you that you will go to jail one day! Go now. He hands over Chuttan to police. Chuttan explains that he isn’t used to steal. I dint get the payment for my idol so I had to steal. Inspector reasons that he should have come to police if that was the case. Chuttan tells him to take him if he does not believe him. He lifts his jar of marbles and leads them instead.
Vansh is leaving. Devina tells Pushpa not to spoil her mood because of that naughty kid. Pushpa says I know. I wont spoil my mood for him. She gives Vansh his favourite parathas. Devina makes faces. Akhilesh gifts encyclopaedia to Vansh. Ira advises him to exercise with it when he gets tired. Devina asks Mishri if she dint bring anything for Vansh. Mishri says how I can let him go like that. She gives him a handmade collage. He gets emotional. Mishri tells him to put it over his bed so he can see them as soon as he wakes up. You wont forget us ever then. He thanks her with a hug. I wont be able to forget all of you anyways. Ira tells him to place the new idol in the temple before leaving. Pushpa seconds her thought. They all go to the house temple. Vansh unveils the idol and does aarti. Vansh is teary eyed. Will you all come to drop me till airport? I wont be able to bid you guys adieu. Pushpa tells Ira and Akhilesh not to come. Devina and I will go. Vansh touches Ira’s feet and hugs Akhilesh. He also hugs Mishri. I will send you a video once I reach home. She nods.
Chuttan says I made a mistake so I should be punished. He is walking way too fast which is a trouble for the police already but then he starts running. He drops the marbles on the ground thereby making them fall. Ramavatar holds his hand. Aren’t you ashamed of fooling police? Chuttan tries to free himself but in vain. Inspector arrests Ramavatar as well.

Vansh tells Mishri if anyone troubles him he will tell the kid that God wont give him a place even in hell. She replies that she will also say Holy Moly if someone will trouble her. The elders smile. Devina and Pushpa take Vansh to the airport. Ira wipes Mishri’s tears. You should be happy for Vansh. He will be with his parents now. Delhi isn’t far. We will go to meet him. Mishri says I don’t have a brother with whom I can play. Ira suggests her to pray to God to find a friend for her asap. Akhilesh also encourages her to pray. It is a new idol so you
must pray for what you want dearly. God hears the prayers of kids. Ira goes to bring crown for Bal Gopal. Mishri prays. No one can take Vansh’s place but I have gotten used to him. Please send someone like him. Doorbell rings. Ira opens the door and finds Chuttan lying in her feet as soon as she opens the door. His eyes are closed and he requests her not to hand him to police. She holds his hand and feels something strange. Who are you? Akhilesh and Mishri look on. Ira asks Chuttan if they have met before. Mishri runs to tell her Mapu it is the same naughty kid who stole her purse. Ira holds her hand. Akhilesh also recalls meeting him in the past. Have you started stealing as well? You do all the wrong things! Police comes as well.
Chuttan runs around the living door. Ramavatar gets tensed seeing him thus. Finally Akhilesh catches hold of Chuttan. He is the same kid because of whom I went to jail! Ira says he looks so innocent. How can he steal? Chuttan puts the peacock feather around his ear. I am indeed very innocent. Don’t you see Bal Gopal in me? She smiles. Ramavatar is certain he will be in trouble today because of Chuttan. Ira says it seems as if Nand Gopal is present in front of me. Mishri and Akhilesh tell her otherwise. I went to jail because of me. He is responsible for Mishri’s wound and he even stole in the house! Why are you supporting him? Chuttan tells him he is not a thief. I stole stuff as she (Devina) dint pay me. Akhilesh tells him to be quiet. You are a kid but you speak so much! Chuttan points out that this is what tongue is for. Akhilesh notices Ira smiling. Stop smiling. I will hand him to police. Ramavatar apologizes to him. Chuttan’s mother has spoiled him. Chuttan warns him not to utter another word against Chanda. Ramavatar tells him to be quiet. You can keep everything. I don’t want anything. Please don’t file a case against us! I don’t have money to pay for anything.
Akhilesh says I will forgive him on one condition. Chuttan must apologize to Mishri. Chuttan refuses (in his style). I dint make any mistake. Why should I apologize? I dint get the money I deserved so I stole stuff from your house. Ramavatar is worried that he might have to go to jail because of Chuttan’s behaviour. Akhilesh tells police to put him in juvenile prison but Ira reasons that it isn’t his fault. If anyone is to be punished then it’s him (Ramavatar). Inspector seconds her. I will send Ramavatar to jail and take good care of him. Constables try to handcuff him but Ramavatar asks him why he is getting punished for Chuttan’s mistake. Ira says you are his father. Ramavatar tells them that Chuttan isn’t his son. Chuttan looks at him in shock. Everyone else is stunned as well. Chuttan asks him what he is saying. Am I not your son? Ramavatar denies.
Chanda finds Chuttan’s friends cheering for him. What happened? Did he win another competition again? One of the kids tells her that Chuttan has made them proud today. He is the first kid of our gang who was arrested by police. He will become a big man one day! She panics. What did he do? The boy shares that the rich family complained against him. Chuttan and his father have gone to that house. Chanda gets scared. It means Chuttan is in Ira’s house? I cannot even go there. What if she recognizes me? What if she finds out that Chuttan is her son? I cannot live without her.
Ramavatar repeats that Chuttan isn’t his son. Chuttan asks him what he is saying. I dint trouble you this much that you will break your relation with me because of police. Ramavatar shrugs him aside and leaves. Chuttan cries and shouts after him but in vain. Pandey family feels bad for him.
Mishri tells her Mapu she did want Chuttan to be punished but I dint want his Bapu to go away from him. Ira walks up to Chuttan. He insists that he was his Bapu. Why did he leave me then? Ira wipes his tears. Even I cried seeing you thus. He still cannot understand why Ramavatar said that. Ira says elders say a lot in anger but don’t take it to your heart. Akhilesh tells her not to intervene. His Bapu’s behaviour wasn’t right but it doesn’t mean we will not punish him. Let police do their work. Chuttan mentally prays that he keeps quiet. He blames Akhilesh for making his Bapu go away. Akhilesh complains of his attitude. Ira reasons that he is a kid. What’s his fault in all this? He is very worried. He does not need a remand home but a family. She withdraws her complaint. She asks Chuttan to promise her he wont do anything because of which people will be in problem. Chuttan promises her. Ira offers to drop him home but he politely refuses. He asks police to do that instead so his Bapu will allow him inside. Ira requests police. They agree. Chuttan prays that he does not get to meet Akhilesh or Mishri ever again.
Police takes Chuttan home. Mishri hugs Akhilesh. Will you also tell me some day that I am not your daughter? He hugs her. Come what may, I will never push you away from me. Ira asks her why they will say that. You aren’t naughty at all. I want you to act naughty sometimes. Mishri smiles. Akhilesh tells Mishri he is positive you wont make us look down ever. You are our life. He hugs her tight. Do you miss Vansh? She nods. He offers to play video games with her today. They go to her room excitedly. Ira hopes everything goes well with Chuttan. Why did I feel for some time that I share some relation with that kid?
Chanda asks her husband how he could do this. He is our son. We have raised him together. You left him with police? Ramavatar says I got scared of police. She asks him if it
would have mattered. You could have let them beat you for our son’s sake. Where did you leave him? She cries. Chuttan enters. I am here, Mai. She hugs him. She also pleads inspector to forgive Chuttan. He is a kid. Inspector tells her that Ira has withdrawn her complaint. We came to drop Chuttan home. He asks Ramavatar if Chuttan indeed isn’t his son. Chanda denies. He said that as he was angry. Police leaves. Chanda reassures Chuttan that she loves him very much. You know how much I love you. Chuttan wipes his tears after making sure police has left. How was my acting? I cried badly when Bapu said I am not his son because of which that rich lady told police to leave me. Chanda asks him if he did not believe his Bapu. Chuttan denies. I know you are my Mother India. I am not that lucky to get rid of Bapu. She hugs him. You are my smart son. I wont let you go away from me ever. He sits down to eat. Chanda goes to bring flour.
Ramavatar asks Chuttan what he is made of. I said such a big thing and you pretended to shed fake tears? Chuttan tells him that what he just did is drama. You hurt me with your words today. I don’t want to upset Mai. I don’t want a Bapu like you who can leave me alone just because he got scared. Ramavatar walks away murmuring the same thing which puzzles Chuttan. It dint impact him at all. Does it mean that he might not be my real Bapu?
Ira is putting Mishri to sleep. I am so lucky to have a daughter like you. You don’t trouble anyone. You take care of everyone. Maybe circumstances turned that boy into what he is today. His face is so innocent. God must reside in him as well. I wonder why I felt a strange connection towards him. My eyes welled up seeing him in tears. His life would have been so different if he had been born in our house. He might not have taken the wrong path in that case. We would also have 2 kids then. Anyways, we cannot change fate.

Next morning, Mishri wakes up and wishes Vansh good morning. Finally Saturday is here. It’s my holiday. I will play snakes and ladders with you and defeat you today! Before that, I will eat the food cooked by Mapu. She removes the quilt trying to wake Vansh when she realises that Vansh is in Delhi. I promised Vansh I wont cry even when I will miss him. She looks at their photo. I will still play and defeat you in the game. Her eyes well up. She takes out the board game, keeps their photo on one side and sits on the other. Naina plays. She ends up crying thinking of the past memories. Where have you gone? I am so lonely without you. Who will I play with now? Pushpa feels bad seeing her thus. She needs a companion. I will not let her feel lonely.
Akhilesh is doing puja when Ira tickles him. He tells her to let go but she does not relent. I wont stop till the time you will listen to me. You should go on a date with me. He agrees. They part seeing Pushpa. Pushpa asks Ira if Akhilesh’s operation’s effect would have drained out or not. Akhilesh asks her what she is saying. Pushpa rues that Mishri is feeling very lonely. She needs a brother. Think about Mishri. She closes the door as she heads out of the room. Ira says how to make her understand that this no one can recover from that operation. She is right though. Mishri is feeling lonely. We cannot do anything about it. He says I also feel Amma is right. Another kid will light up the house. Ira nods. How will it be possible? He suggests that they should adopt a kid. She is ecstatic. I had been thinking about this since long. Mishri will have a brother / sister and we will also be happy. Let’s tell Moti Ba. He tells her to bring the baby home first and then see her reaction. She wants to tell Mishri. He assures her he will do it. She is my daughter. She will understand. We will not tell her anything beforehand. We will bring the baby home directly.
Chuttan bosses over his friends and takes the first chance to play. Ira, Akhilesh and Mishri reach the same neighbourhood. Mishri recognizes the locality. That naughty kid Chuttan stays here. Have we come to meet him? Akhilesh declines.
Chuttan wins the game. I am bored of this game. Let’s play hide and seek.
