Between You And Me on zee one Monday 17th July 2023 update, Mishri’s smile disappears the moment she sees Chuttan. Akhilesh follows her gaze. You? He switches off the music. He is the same kid who stole in this house! How did he come inside? Leave! Mishri also asks him to leave. She pushes him. Chuttan falls down and looks around in confusion. I was day dreaming?

Mishri and Ira are dancing with the kids. Chuttan thinks they are enjoying after putting him in trouble. I will spoil their party now! He adds lots of red chilli in juice. Whoever will drink it will end up fuming! He spoils the cake as well by sprinkling a powder over it. Everyone will start sneezing the moment they will blow the candles.
Pushpa stops the dance. Who will bring the cake now? Devina gladly goes to bring it. Chuttan hits her on her feet and she trips. Pushpa
runs to check on her. Devina has kheer smeared over her face. She tells Pushpa to stop laughing. Someone intentionally made me trip. The ladies look around but see nothing. Devina refuses to give up. I will come back after cleaning my face and find out who it is. Ira wonders who can do this. Pushpa tells her to let it be. They take the cake outside. Chuttan looks on excitedly.
Akhilesh asks Mishri to blow on the cake and make a wish. She says all 3 of us have the same wish so we will wish together. They blow onto the cake together. All the kids and Pushpa start sneezing. Chuttan laughs seeing them from far. Akhilesh is puzzled as to what happened. Ira guesses that it might be because of a powder. He asks her who did this. She suggests taking care of the kids first. They must not fall ill. Bring water from kitchen. Chuttan decides to trap Akhilesh but Ira comes to the kitchen instead. Chuttan is in a fix. I don’t want her to fall. She is a nice aunty. I must get out ofhere to save her. Mishri holds Ira’s hand just in time before she can step on the oil. Ira is puzzled. Mishri stops her from cleaning it. She offers to do it instead. Ira goes. Mishri cleans the floor. She is thoughtful as to how everything can go wrong suddenly. Who could be behind it? All the kids are here only. Chuttan thinks to get out of the house or Mishri might catch him. Mishri senses someone’s presence and calls out curiously. Chuttan covers his head with an apron and runs upstairs. Mishri notices someone hiding behind the curtains of her room but it is just shoes. Chuttan escapes. He drops a vase while running which alerts Mishri. She shouts after him.
Chuttan hides in the water tank on the terrace. Mirchi comes upstairs and challenges Chuttan that she will find him. He decides to hide inside for some time. Mishri might come back with her family. He falls asleep.
Chanda comes to the orphanage. She asks for Shekhar but finds out that he left early today. Chanda asks about Chuttan. I came to adopt him. The other peon tells her that there is no kid by this name. Chanda tells him to speak to Shekhar. Chuttan is here only. Even the warden confirms it. There are only 30 kids here. I know them all by name. There is no kid with this name here. Please leave. Chanda is stunned. Where should I look for him now? It must be Kamla Chachi’s plan. She must have taken him to Ira. I wont spare her today!
Ira and Akhilesh have bathed the kids and have given them new clothes. The kids smile brightly.
Pushpa receives a call from her neighbour. She next tells her servant to switch on the motor. There is water shortage. The tank should be full. He nods.
Chuttan is still sleeping when water starts pouring in.
Warden calls Ira to check onto the kids. Pushpa Ma’am told me that you will be adopting one out of the 5 kids. Did you decide something? Ira shares that there are only 4 kids here. Warden tells her to double check. Our peon said he took 5 kids with him. Ira agrees to check and call her back. Ira tells her family about it. Mishri tells them that there is another naughty kid in the house. He did all this. He is hiding somewhere. Ira hopes he is not in any trouble.
Water starts rising in the tank.
Pushpa wonders where the fifth kid is. Devina says he is hiding. Akhilesh also starts looking. Devina tells Pushpa to let the kid hide but Pushpa reasons that that kid is her responsibility. She asks Ira to show her the places where she has looked for the kid. Ira and Mishri agree whereas Devina fakes a headache. She hopes the kid lands in a big trouble because of which Ira and Akhilesh will be blamed. I don’t want any illiterate to hold a share in our property.
Chuttan is still sleeping peacefully.
Mishri shows Chuttan’s shoes. He kept it behind the curtains to fool me. Akhilesh wonders where he could be. Mishri is also clueless. I followed him to the terrace but he wasn’t there. Akhilesh says he might have climbed down from the pipe and goes to check. Pushpa says a pipe
ends in backside also. She goes to look in the backside. Ira and Mishri head to the terrace. Ira suddenly experiences stomach ache again but ignores it.
Voiceover:
There is a signal in every pain. Maybe this pain is telling you that your son is in big trouble.
Chuttan wakes up and is stunned to see the water filling in the tank. I dint even realise!
Kamla Chachi wakes up as her phone rings. A man tells her that she is lucky. We found an old report. Both the kids are fine. The twins must have grown up now. She confirms. She tells him Ira’s address. Please courier the report to that address. She ends the call. I can file a complaint against Chanda now. She opens the door and finds Chanda waiting for her. Chanda threatens to kill her. Kamla Chachi is unable to struggle as she is weak. Chanda asks her to give her Chuttan. Kamla Chachi says I have no idea. He is anyways Ira’s son. I will send him to his real parents. Chanda is unrelenting. She keeps pushing the door. Kamla Chachi decides to tell the truth to Ira before something goes wrong.
Pushpa and Akhilesh have not been able to find Chuttan. He sends the kids with Pushpa to the orphanage. She is worried as to how she will face the warden. Akhilesh receives Kamla Chachi’s call on Ira’s number. She hurriedly begins to tell her about Chuttan when Chanda manages to break open the door. Akhilesh coaxes her to speak but Chanda throws the phone on the floor. She is completely out of her wits. Give me my son! Kamla Chachi reasons that Chuttan is Ira’s son. I will tell her that she had twins and you stole her son! Akhilesh overhears it. Kamla Chachi pushes Chanda. She picks up her phone again. Can you hear me? Chanda throws the phone again and hits Kamla Chachi. Give me my son! Where is he? Kamla Chachi drops a vase. Akhilesh gets tensed. She seems to be in danger. I will find out the secret there only.
Chuttan is crying for help. Mayi would have saved me if she was here. She wouldn’t have let me fall in any problem. Ira and Mishri come upstairs. They call out to him but he cannot hear them. He bangs at the water tank and keeps shouting for help. Ira says he isn’t here. Mishri is sure he had come here. They check again but in vain. There is a drill machine nearby which is making a lot of noise. Mishri notices the mark of blood on the floor. We should follow them to find the boy. She tells Ira about it. Ira gets concerned but Mishri tells her not to worry. The blood marks point at the water tank. Mishri points out that the kid might have gotten stuck inside the water tank. Chuttan is shouting for help. Ira tells Mishri it wont be possible. Go downstairs. Ask Bapu if he saw the boy. Mishri scurries downstairs.
Akhilesh is on his way to Kamla Chachi’s house. He is still connected with Kamla Chachi. Who is there? Talk to me.
Chanda and Kamla Chachi are still fighting. Chanda stomps on the phone to break it. Akhilesh’s phone’s battery goes dead. He is unable to contact police and continues driving.
Chanda and Kamla Chachi keep arguing. Kamla Chachi insists upon uniting Chuttan with his real parents. Chanda begs her not to do this. I cannot live without my son. I will die without him. Kamla Chachi refuses to help her in her lie. I will tell everyone the truth today! She struggles to break free but Chanda is reluctant. Kamla Chachi falls on a piece of glass during the struggle. Chanda panics seeing blood. What did I do? I must flee from here before police comes! She escapes from the back door.
Ira stands next to the water tank. Her pain reoccurs. Ira is sure Akhilesh must have found the boy if he had gotten down from the pipe. Let me call warden. Chuttan throws his shirt out of the water tank. Ira finds it and looks at the water tank in confusion. Was Mishri right? Is that kid inside the water tank? She taps at the water tank. Are you inside? Chuttan smiles. Ira climbs the stairs and peeks inside. She notices Chuttan there. How did you get inside? Don’t panic. I will get you out of there. She extends her hand towards him but he is too short. She advises him to jump. He jumps and manages to catch hold of her hand. She shouts for help but Mishri informs her that Akhilesh is not at home. Ira asks her to help her. That kid is inside. Mishri recognizes Chuttan. Ira tells her to help him. Mishri and Ira extend their hands at once. Chuttan jumps and catches hold of their hands who pull him out of the water tank safely. Ira holds him close.
Mishri and Ira pull him out of the water tank safely. Ira holds him close. Ira asks Mishri to help her take Chuttan downstairs. She holds Chuttan with Mishri’s help and steps down from the stairs. Mishri follows her.
Akhilesh reaches Kamla Chachi’s house. He is shocked to see her thus. You were saying something on the phone. Who was here? Who did this? She tells him that the one who stole his other kid is responsible for it. Ira had twins. Akhilesh asks her who is responsible for her condition. I will take you to hospital asap. He notices the glass bottle and pulls it out. She screams. He asks her if she is fine. Kamla Chachi says it is the same person who has your other kid. Neighbours come there hearing her scream and blame Akhilesh for it. He tries to explain but they refuse
to believe him. All of his explanations are ignored.
Ira and Mishri are taking care of Chuttan. Ira hopes it isn’t pneumonia. Mishri says I don’t understand how he ended up in an orphanage. He has parents. Ira says only he can tell once he wakes up. Servant hands a courier to Ira. She finds her reports from Silvassa and realises that she had twins. Both the kids are healthy. She recalls her conversation with doctor recently. It means I did have twins?
Police arrests Akhilesh. Neighbours tell Police to give death sentence to Akhilesh. He insists he dint kill her. He tells everything in detail. I have to find my other kid. please let me go. The culprit must be roaming freely. Inspector tells him to explain in court. Akhilesh explains that Kamla Chachi was his relative. Why will I kill her? Inspector points at the evidences. Akhilesh reasons that Kamla Chachi was attacked before he came here. Inspector stays put. Akhilesh asks him to let him speak to his family. It is law. You cannot deny me this. Inspector gives him his phone.
Ira comes downstairs. She wonders why Kamla Chachi hid such a big thing from her. I don’t understand anything. It means I have another kid out there in the world. I know nothing about my kid. She is looking for her phone when landline rings. It is Akhilesh. They both speak of their second kid at once and are shocked. Akhilesh tells her about Kamla Chachi’s call.
Ira says why did she hid it from us all these years. I found out after I received pathology reports. Akhilesh shares that he came to Silvassa to find out the truth but Kamla Chachi is no more. Villagers saw me when I was trying to revive her. They think I killed her! I am under arrest. He asks her to come over asap. Don’t tell Amma or Mishri. She agrees to come right away. I wont let anything happen to you. Inspector takes Akhilesh with him and tells the constable to do the rest.
