Barrister Babu on Joyprime Monday 16th January 2023 update, Thakumaa and Sumati asking Bondita to open the door. Bondita says I won’t open the door and get the aid until you free Anirudh from the jail. Thakumaa says I know to break your rigidity and door. Bondita says I will jump from the window if you break the door. Sumati asks Thakumaa not to do anything. She says Anirudh is much imp to Bondita. Bondita cries.

Anirudh gets released from the jail. Thakumaa says I take back the complaint, prepare the papers, I will sign. Inspector says I didn’t understand, why are you freeing Anirudh. She says Anirudh had become a problem for me, I know how to handle him.
Anirudh and Trilochan look on and think what’s going on in her mind. She signs the papers and leaves. Trilochan asks Anirudh to come. Sumati asks Bondita to get the aid. Bondita refuses. Thakumaa comes and says you got much educated, you should have read my heart, I just want your betterment, I got Anirudh freed, open the door and get the aid. Bondita says I don’t trust you, you lied to me. Thakumaa sends Tapur to Anirudh. Ainirudh signals Bondita by the flickering light of the lamp. Bondita sees that and smiles. She opens the door. Thakumaa goes to do her aid. She asks Anirudh to come out. Bondita smiles seeing Anirudh. They cry. She asks are you fine. He says yes, how are you. She asks him not to cry. He asks her not to cry.
She says I m happy seeing you. They smile. Thakumaa takes Bondita and applies the lep to her wound. She asks Bondita to take rest. Trilochan says Thakumaa is changing, she let you see Bondita yesterday. Anirudh says she won’t change easily, something is going on in her mind. Trilochan says Bondita would have explained her with love. Anirudh says maybe, but my decision won’t change. Sampoorna comes and says sorry, I got late. Trilochan says its fine. Sampoorna says we are going back to Tulsipur. He asks who told you. She says Thakumaa fixed Bondita’s alliance, so we have to go back. Anirudh asks who told you. She says I got to know this from the tailor, Bondita’s bridal clothes are also getting stitched there. Anirudh says I knew Thakumaa won’t change.
Thakumaa asks Bondita to agree for the marriage. Bondita refuses. Anirudh comes and says I won’t let this marriage happen, I will not let the child marriage custom take place. Thakumaa asks why did you ruin her life by breaking the marriage. He says I believe that child marriage is wrong. He asks Bondita to refuse to the groom’s family. Bondita falls down. He asks what happened. Sumati says she is hurt. He asks what. Sumati shows the wound and says she got hurt by an iron rod in that dark place. Anirudh asks Thakumaa to see the result of her deed. He says I will get a doctor. Bondita says Thakumaa is treating me with her medicines. He says sorry, I don’t trust her now. He calls a doctor. Doctor checks Bondita and gives the medicines. Rimjhim says I find it strange, Thakumaa allowed Anirudh and also the doctor home. Sumati says yes, but maybe she agreed for Bondita’s sake. Rimjhim says she won’t change for anyone. She thinks its Thakumaa’s plan. Anirudh asks will Bondita get fine. Doctor says you called me at the right time. Anirudh thanks him. He says Bondita is going to London for further studies. Doctor says this can’t happen. Anirudh asks why. Doctor says we have to cut her leg to stop the infection, we can save her life doing so. Anirudh gets shocked.
Tapur says your relation is fixed. Bondita says Anirudh is with me, he won’t let my child marriage happen. Anirudh asks what are you saying, she is a kid, she can’t lose her leg, I can’t let such bad thinking of wrong customs win, you save her, there would be some way. Doctor says there is no other way. Anirudh sits crying. A man delivers Bondita’s dresses. He gets angry and throws the clothes in front of Thakumaa. He says I will take Bondita with me, no marriage will happen here, doctor said that Bondita…. He thinks I can’t tell them anything, else Bondita will know it, better I find some solution. He shouts Bondita is just my responsibility now, she isn’t able to walk, she is with me in the fight against child marriage, you have to end your stubbornness this time else… He gets angry and throws some plate. He says else I won’t spare anyone. He leaves.
Bondita says Anirudh will not let my child marriage happen. Anirudh comes. Bondita says I have much tolerance. She asks Anirudh to see Tapur crying. She says I will get fine. Anirudh also cries. He says you will be fine, you don’t play games that needs her to run. He cries. He asks Tapur not to worry, Bondita will be fine, I will take her to Calcutta and get her treated, her leg will get fine. Bondita smiles.
Anirudh saying all the doctors are saying the same. Trilochan asks what will you do now, who else will you call, you are calling many doctors since morning, they all said the same that Bondita’s leg has to get amputated. Doctor comes and says I m amazed seeing Bondita’s wound getting fine now. Anirudh thanks him. Doctor says she is recovering by the ayurvedic lep given by Thakumaa. Trilochan says yes, maybe, Thakumaa is a good Vaid. Doctor says let Thakumaa do Bondita’s treatment. Anirudh thanks him. Thakumaa looks on. Anirudh sees a shadow and asks who is there. She comes in front. He says you here…. She says I want Bondita’s betterment, I want her to get married and have a good future. He says you are a good Vaid, but think as a good Thakumaa, Bondita is a kid, should you get her married, do you think its a right age for marriage, child marriage is illegal now, I won’t let this happen, I can call the police or take any big move. She says you want Bondita’s leg to get fine. He says yes, I want it. She says you know that just I can treat her, else her leg will get amputated. He says you are a good Vaid and Bondita’s Thakumaa, you will treat her.
Thakumaa says yes, I m also a hurt woman, who was abandoned by a landlord, I lost my respect because of someone, I don’t want Bondita to bow down and live her life, if you want me to treat Bondita, then I have a condition, you won’t become a hurdle in her marriage, you will disappear in her life, you will make her believe that you are going to leave her. He says its wrong. She says I got you out of jail, you used my love for Bondita, you won’t stop Bondita’s marriage now, else I won’t treat her, you decide it now, is your principles imp or Bondita’s leg. He asks do you have a heart or not, you are forgetting that you are a Vaid, its your duty to treat people, you are keeping this condition to sink her bright future in darkness. She says let it sink, darkness isn’t anything new for a woman in men’s society.
She says yes, I m heartless, you decide what you want now. She goes. He gets sad. Sumati worries. Rimjhim says Bondita isn’t obedient like Tapur and Tupur, we will refuse for the alliance. Sumati says I m also worried, what’s Thakumaa thinking. Thakumaa gets the dress for Bondita’s rasam. She asks how is it. Sumati says Bondita and Anirudh will never agree, I have seen the fire of rebel in their eyes. Thakumaa says I know how to control Bondita, its good if she compromises with her situation, get to work, I have to go and apply the lep to Bondita. She goes.
Anirudh imagines a cheerful Bondita and a handicapped Bondita. He worries and thinks of Thakumaa’s words. He gets shocked seeing her on the wheelchair. He cries. He says you can run and do anything. Rishta tera mera….plays… Bondita comes out of the house and sees the haldi celebrations. She angrily throws the plate. Thakumaa asks her to sit for the haldi. Bondita throws the haldi bowl. Rimjhim catches her. Thakumaa says let her do what she wants. Bondita goes to Anirudh’s house and knocks the door. A man gives her a letter and a gift. She smiles and says its Anirudh’s letter. He writes… I m going back to Tulsipur for an imp work, I got busy in just your life, dreams and betterment, I want to live for myself now. She thinks he left me alone and went, he promised to take me for treatment today and fulfill my dreams.
She reads… I lost much time because of you, I want to live for my own dreams, I m going to make a new way for myself. She thinks who will show me the path to my destination. She cries reading… whatever Thakumaa wants is right for you, promise me, you will do what she wants, take this as the last gift from my side. She gets an idol. Thakumaa comes and asks why is the landlords not opening the door. The man says they left for Tulsipur. She thanks him. She says he was saying he will get Bondita treated, see he is a coward, he ran away, he repeated the history. Bondita recalls Anirudh’s words. She says I believe that he will come back. Thakumaa says fine, the truth is he has locked your happiness and dreams. Bondita says I will call home and talk to him. Anirudh is at his home. He says I chose your steps than your success, I can’t see you losing your leg. Sumati consoles Bondita. She says accept that he has left you.
