At the Shah house, Hasmuk asks Paritosh why he took money from Raja. Leela questions him too, asking why he needs money when he has a job. Kinjal then reveals that Paritosh is actually unemployed and addicted to gambling. Hasmuk is shocked. Kinjal says Paritosh always acts like the victim. Leela slaps him. Paritosh defends himself and says he will become a big businessman one day. Kinjal tells him to leave the house and says Anupama would have thrown him out by now. Paritosh shouts at her not to act like Anupama. Pari warns him to stay far away from Raja and the Kotharis.
Later, Tarun visits Manohar. Manohar greets him with love, but Tarun pushes him away. Anupama feels hurt seeing his disrespect.

Kinjal apologizes to Pari for Paritosh’s behavior. Pari says she misses Anupama but also feels relieved she is away from the chaos. She says she feels ashamed of the Shah family’s reputation and feels bad for Rahi.
Tarun tells Manohar to sell the house. He says he has always been ashamed of his father’s profession. Manohar refuses and says the house holds memories of his wife. Tarun says she is never coming back and even says he wishes Manohar would die so he can take the house. He threatens not to perform his last rites and then destroys all of Manohar’s trophies. Manohar is shocked. He says parents raise children only to get insulted like this. He collapses in front of Anupama and says she should let him die since his son wants that. Anupama tries hard to save him.
Somewhere else, Pakhi plans to steal imported items from the Kotharis to sell them. Ishani encourages her and then goes out for a coffee date.

Back with Manohar, the doctor asks Anupama for his medical history. Anupama says she is just a maid in the house, but the doctor tells her to find the details fast. Anupama searches through the house for his prescriptions.
Meanwhile, Rahi tries calling to check if Manohar is in Ahmedabad. Anupama sees the call and feels hopeful. But right at that moment, Tarun catches her using the landline.
