Jhanak On Starlife Thursday 8th October 2026 Full Update, Rishi asks Jhanak how long she will punish him. Jhanak tells him that she wants to sleep, but Rishi asks her to understand him. Jhanak taunts him, saying that he was looking good while sitting with Aditi. Rishi asks why they are talking about a third person when their misunderstanding was cleared recently. Jhanak says she wants to know why he got angry when the family did not invite Aditi to Putul’s program. She says Aditi is her sister and she loves her, but Aditi was also Rishi’s wife.

Rishi admits that he was really angry with Jhanak. He also says that no one invited Aditi even though she should have been invited. Jhanak tells him that he sat with Aditi because he was angry, and that was wrong. She says she would not have questioned him if he had sat with Aditi as a friend. She trusts Rishi and will never doubt him. Rishi accepts that he made a mistake and says he knows Jhanak is more mature than him. Jhanak tells him that everyone has flaws and that Rishi will always be her husband.
Rishi teasingly tells Jhanak that he is older than her, so she should always listen to him. He tells her that she lives in his heart and apologises for doubting her. Jhanak asks him to sleep, and they both fall asleep.
Meanwhile, Arya meets Putul and tells her that they have already lost many days, so he wants their future to be better. He notices that Putul is not wearing vermilion and applies it to her forehead. He tells her that she looks the best when she wears it. He promises never to leave her. Putul says she wants to believe everything he is saying, but she is scared. Arya asks her not to be afraid and hugs her.
Putul tells Arya that she cannot go with him now. Arya reminds her that he has already stayed away from her for many years and loves her so much that he cannot stay away from her anymore. He decides to stay there until the festival ends. He says he knows he is not worthy of Putul, but he will work hard so that she can feel proud of him.
On the other side, Aniruddh tells Anjana that Aditi is adamant. Anjana says stubbornness can break relationships. She says Aditi thinks she is making everything better, but she is actually ruining everything. Aniruddh says his wife is going away from him, but he cannot do anything. Anjana tells him that she understands his pain. Aniruddh adds that even Aditi has not told him why she wants to go to Simulboni and says there are not enough facilities there for her to stay.
Aditi arrives and says she understands that they cannot support her decision. Arshi also comes there. Aditi asks whether Arshi is ready, but Arshi refuses to go with her. She says she does not want to live with Aditi and does not want to become a burden to her. Arshi then tells Aniruddh that she will leave his house too. Anjana asks where she will stay, and Arshi says she will learn to live alone.
Later, Jhanak and the others discuss Kali Puja. Abhimanyu asks Jhanak whether she gave her name for the president election, and Jhanak nods. They receive a courier, and Jhanak reads Dritimaan’s report. She announces that Dritimaan does not have cancer. Everyone becomes happy after hearing the news.
Jhanak becomes the new president, but Dadabhai is annoyed. The society members ask Jhanak to accompany them to bring Mata Kali’s idol. Jhanak says the old customs will be changed and that they will welcome Mata Kali with a dance. Dadabhai says Jhanak will ruin everything one day. Jhanak tells him that she is not only his daughter-in-law but also the president, so he should not taunt her. She announces that everyone will dance to welcome Mata Kali.
Sanjhbati and Mishti decide to go with Jhanak. Dadabhai taunts them, but Indumati tells him to let the children enjoy themselves. Dadabhai asks her not to say anything. Indumati says he is angry because Jhanak defeated him in the president election and laughs.
Dadabhai sends his family inside and tells his friends that he will lose all his respect if Jhanak manages to do everything well. He says he has decided to teach Jhanak a lesson so that she will not even think about organising a puja again. His friends agree with him.
Later, Jhanak learns that a new doctor is coming from abroad. The doctor arrives, and Jhanak and the other interns introduce themselves to him. He says he does not like people who take leave often. Jhanak remembers that she has taken responsibility for organising the puja and tells him that she wants three days of leave. The doctor says it is impossible.
Jhanak explains that she wants the leave because there is a puja in her society. The doctor taunts her for asking for leave to attend a society puja and says practice is important. Jhanak tells him that she will not take leave after this, but she will be insulted in front of her in-laws and society if she fails to fulfil her responsibility as president. The doctor leaves without saying anything. The nurse asks Jhanak not to irritate him.
The next day, Jhanak tells Rishi that they should dance to welcome Kali Mata. Rishi says Dadabhai does not like such things. Putul tells him that they should dance and enjoy themselves, and Mishti agrees with her. Jhanak and the others start dancing to welcome Kali Mata, making Dadabhai angry. He asks his friends how the youngsters can dance so shamelessly and says he has a plan to teach them a lesson.
Tanushri tells Indumati that she also wants to dance. Indumati says they are not lucky enough to dance. They become happy when they see Putul dancing. Dritimaan says Rishi is also looking happy. Sanjhbati says she wants to dance too. Indumati tells her to go and dance, saying that both Jhanak and Sanjhbati are daughters-in-law and are equal. Jhanak then pulls Sanjhbati into the dance.
Meanwhile, Anjana asks Arshi why she is working in the kitchen. Arshi says she has to learn all these things and is grateful that she got a chance to live there. Anjana tells her that she should have learned these things earlier. Arshi accepts that she made many mistakes and says she will serve them to repay for her sins.
Anjana asks the maid to serve Arshi. The maid says Arshi is not eating properly. Aniruddh tells Aditi to ask Arshi to eat. Aditi says Arshi will become ill if she does not eat properly, but they are busy and cannot always focus on her diet. Aniruddh asks Arshi to have breakfast, but she says she is not hungry. Anjana convinces her to eat. Aniruddh asks why Arshi is not eating her diet food. Arshi says what she is eating is enough to survive. Aniruddh wonders whether Arshi has really changed or is only acting.
