Ramoona tells Mahira she must make sure she is not thrown out of Luthra house anymore, nor she should return to her in tears, instead this time Preeta must cry. She will make Preeta suffer like Gayatri. Mahira recognizes her as dad’s ex-wife. Ramoona corrects wife, she made her ex.

Mahira’s dad was married to Gayatri, she met him in a later stage of life and fall in love with him instantly. She got to know he was married, and his heart resided with Gayatri. Ramoona habitually takes what she wants, by hook or by crook. She went to any extent to throw Gayatri from his dad’s life. Now, Gayatri must be suffering with her old parents. It was not Gayatri’s story, it was hers (Ramoona’s). Mahira remembers that dad left Gayatri because… Ramoona corrects it was all lie.
She had presented it to Mahira’s dad as truth. She wanted her dad, and she did anything to get him. She believes Mahira must also do something like this. Mahira says Ramoona’s story is simple, because Gayatri was simple. Ramoona sits with Mahira and says it is never easy to take a husband away from any wife. Mahira must follow her footprints and Karan will be hers. Mahira says she wants to get Karan. That Preeta challenged her that she is and will always be a friend only. Ramoona suggests Mahira to keep a Karwachot fast for Karan tomorrow, and with full heart and zeal. Mahira agrees.
At home, Dadi agrees to all five conditions of Rakhi and tells her to take rest. Dadi repeats all conditions, firstly she will handle all matters of Karwachot. Secondly, she will make sure she performs all rituals of Preeta’s first Karwachot. Thirdly, she must behave well with Preeta. She says it is difficult, but she will make sure Preeta feels she loves Preeta even more than Rakhi. Fourthly, she won’t snatch Preeta’s rights in any case and privilege Mahira. Lastly, she will make the Karwachot memorable for all daughter in laws of Luthra house. She now takes Rakhi’s promise to take rest and sleep.
Preeta was in her room setting dresses. She remembers it is her second Karwachot tomorrow. She had done this fast once earlier as well, and recalls Karan helped her break her fast. She remembers a lady in temple advised her to fast for her husband, this fast increases the age of relationships. Preeta was satisfied that this time she will be fasting in her own house.
Sarla sat upset in her house. She discusses with Janki that it is Karwachot tomorrow. Shrishti teases that Janki will not fast. Janki jokes that Jaya Bachan should fast for her husband, she can obviously not fast for Amitabh. Sarla was irritated and worries for Preeta’s Karwachot. Shrishti makes a video call to Preeta. Sarla speaks to Preeta that it is her first Karwachot, no matter what goes on in her house and family, she must fast for Karan at any cost. She tells Preeta every newly-wed must fast in the name of Goddess Garwa, who will spread love, affection and understanding in her relationship. Sarla says Rakhi will gift her Sargi early morning and bless her for a healthy relationship with her husband. Preeta discusses with Sarla that Karan does nothing to be worthy of her fast. Karan comes to the room then. Preeta complains that Karan hadn’t even inquired her about her injured forehead on the day of reception. Karan snatches the phone from Preeta and complains to Sarla. He says he inquired Preeta where she had been on the day of reception, but she didn’t tell; he was irritated and though he noticed the injury but did not console. Preeta’s family agree to Karan that no one feels pity for anyone when angry. Preeta was annoyed and cuts the call.
Shrishti wonders if they love because of fights or fight because they love each other. Janki says the second one is appropriate. Sarla prays for increase in their love.
Karan tells Preeta she is jealous whenever someone is his side. Preeta denies. Karan asks why she cut the call. Preeta says it is anger because her family took his side. Karan argues it was jealousy, not anger. Preeta says alright, its good that her family sides him. Her family knows the importance of relations. Sarla knew he is their son in law, and Shrishti’s brother in law. Karan makes Preeta sit and says he is always right. Preeta stops the argument. Karan continues that she got a lot of ego, no matter she says this to him. Preeta asks him to clarify what he has to say, he must be confident to stand eye to eye and say what’s in his heart. She hates this habit. Karan laughs that Preeta does not hate him, she actually loves him; that is why she is fasting for him. Preeta says every wife fasts for her husband. Karan says that according to Dadi wives fast for husband’s life so they can live with their husbands for longer. Preeta also wants so. Preeta clears this is not the case. Karan was offended and says he hates people who does not reply to his questions. Preeta asks what his question is. Karan says Preeta did not tell him how she was injured. Preeta says alright, he cares then. Karan accepts that he cares.
Preeta lies that she felt drowsy. Karan catches her lie. Preeta says she felt drowsy, fell and got injured. Karan says Preeta is injured each day in her heart, whenever Mahira comes close. Preeta denies feeling jealous of Mahira. Karan says Mahira cares for him, loves him as well and might fast for him as well. Preeta was annoyed and says Mahira might do it. Karwachot is a ritual and only wives keep the fast, it does not matter if everyone in the world fasts. Karan pulls Preeta closer, asking if she doesn’t care someone gets this close to him. She replies no. He pulls her closer, she replies no. He now hugs Preeta. Preeta hugs Karan back, to his relief. When they part, Preeta says she does not care if Mahira fast for him or not. She turns to give medicine to Rakhi.
In the kitchen, Dadi scolds the Giresh why he does not know where dry fruits are. Karina and Kritika come there to calm Dadi. They say they do not like what Dadi is doing here, she must take rest. Dadi says she needs to prepare Sargi. Rakhi is ill and wants her to perform all the rituals happily and with love. Dadi was excited to make every daughter in law’s Sargi memorable and happy one.
Mahira comes to the kitchen and tells the ladies she will also fast. Kritika asks how she can fast, she is not the daughter…. She stops looking at Karina. Kritika says she might be low on energy. Mahira says Karan is her husband, not Preeta’s. She will keep her fast whole heartedly. Dadi says by rituals Mahira can not fast. Karina defends Mahira’s will as it will be for Karan’s life. Dadi thinks Rakhi would not let Mahira fast, but she also stopped her, and this was her responsibility. She agrees. Mahira hugs Dadi.
Dadi gets a call from Rakhi. She tells Karina that Sarla is coming with some gifts for Preeta. Karina smiles bitterly.
Mahira stops outside Karan’s room. Karan notices her there and asks if she wants something. Mahira says she should have knocked. She just saw him and stopped there. She was about to sit on his bed. Karan says it is late, she should go and sleep. Mahira sits on his bed and says she knows what is in Karan’s heart and mind. Karan leaves the bed. He tells Mahira to understand he is a married man. Mahira says she will prove to Karan that she is his real wife, by fasting for him tomorrow. She says it is for a husband’s long life. And even Bani Dadi and Karina Bua allowed her. Karan tells Mahira to leave this Karwa Chot, it is nothing. Mahira says Karan left him on a path where she decided to die, and still she will fast for him. Karan apologizes. Preeta had come to the room. Mahira says she loves him and needs his love in return. Karan backs up from Mahira because of Preeta. Mahira asks if Karan is afraid of Preeta and not confessing his love. Karan teases that Preeta is turning red because of anger and jealousy.
Mahira holds Karan’s arm. Preeta leaves. Karan leaves the room saying Mahira must sleep, as it is late. Mahira forces Karan’s hand on her face saying she has fever. Preeta watches them from a window. Karan withdraws his hand and checks the fever from forehead and tells her to take rest. Her fever of misunderstanding will soon be gone. Karan leaves the room. Preeta comes to the room and says Bye to Mahira, signaling her to leave. She says this is Karan and her room. Mahira challenges that soon she will break Preeta’s ego. Preeta says since day one, Preeta has been breaking… but she never once succeeded. She stands here as a daughter in law of the family and wife of Karan Luthra. Mahira forbids Preeta to call herself a wife. She says tomorrow she will fast for Karan and he will break her fast. Preeta was shocked to know this. Mahira says even Karina and Dadi blessed her, Karan will accept her as a wife tomorrow and her husband will break her fast. Giresh comes to tell Preeta that Sarla is here. Preeta was excited.
In the hall, Rishab and Kritika welcomes Sarla and Shrishti. Preeta comes running to meet Sarla and Shrishti. Mahira and Sherlin show up, Dadi and Karina also come there. Dadi tells Karina not to fight Sarla, she is their relative. Karina says she never fights, it is just that Sarla blames her and her family. Dadi requests Karina to stay silent for Rakhi today. They offer Sarla a seat. Karan also comes downstairs and greets Shrishti and Sarla. Sarla discusses that she spoke to Rakhi, it is good they told her to take rest. Sarla says it is a ritual in her family, a woman gifts dry fruit laddu to her son and daughter in laws. She has no son, so she brought it for Preeta. They can keep it in their Sargi. Karan takes the tiffin, but Karina and Dadi snatch the box. Sarla gifts Karan a bottle full of Besan Ke Laddu. Rishab, Karan and Kritika fight for the sweet. Giresh serves cold drinks. Mahira thinks curtly that they all behave so well with Sarla, she can’t let Preeta’s family mingle with Luthra family.
In the corridor, Mahira calls her mother. Ramoona was driving the car and asks Mahira how she feels. Mahira asks Ramoona to come here, apologize for misunderstandings between them and bless her for Karwachot. She says Preeta’s mother is here.
Preeta looks around and wonders where Mahira is.
Dadi requests Sarla to take the drinks. Sarla sips for her approval. She tells Sherlin she must also taste the sweets; she will like them. Sherlin nods with a smile.
There, Kritika, Rishab and Karan still fought for Besan Ke Laddu. The laddu drops on the floor. Karan asks Giresh to clean up. Karina tells Kritika to leave it. Dadi requests Sarla to stay at their place tonight. Sarla takes a leave as she came unwelcomed. She requests them to keep her Sargi with theirs. Shrishti meets Preeta. Preeta was happy to see two families unite, her mother got the respect she deserves.
She watches Mahira come to the hall.
Sarla silently prays that even Karan’s Dadi loves Preeta, otherwise the whole family hated Preeta even Karan. It must be Preeta’s good behaviour which united it. She prays no one can break these relations.
Ramoona enters the Luthra House. She asks why everyone is shocked to see her; would not they invite her inside. Karina goes to welcome Ramoona, she can rightfully be here. Ramoona goes to Mahira and apologizes her for behaving so bad, even when Mahira needed her the most. When Mahira underwent the accident and was hospitalized, she was really angry. She later on realized she was wrong. Mahira angrily jerks her and tells Ramoona to apologize Karina, Dadi and even Karan.
Ramoona joins hands to Bani Dadi and Ramoona. Mahira stood besides Karan. Ramoona says Mahira’s family has even forgiven her. Mahira demands Ramoona to apologize Karan as well. Dadi says it is not needed. Ramoona agrees she was wrong. She joins her hands to apologize Karan as well. Karan says it was not needed; it is ok. Mahira finally hugs her mother. Ramoona says she knows she loves Karan and has married him in her heart. She is sure Mahira must be fasting for Karan tomorrow as well. Mahira nods. Ramoona gifts Mahira the laddu and requests Dadi to add these in her Sargi. Mahira tastes a laddu and appreciates their taste. Sarla was worried what is happening in the house. Karwachot is a wife’s ritual, how can Mahira fast. Why anyone in the family has no objection with this?
Sarla finally shouts at them to stop it. She says why Ramoona is asking Mahira for the fast, and why no one has an objection. She clarifies to Ramoona that her daughter is not married to Karan, how she can fast for Karan. Ramoona replies Mahira loves Karan and was about to marry Karan. She wants to fast for her husband, she should. Sarla requests Dadi to speak to them, this girl is not Karan’s wife. Preeta is Karan’s wife. Mahira argues she has to fast, and she will. Sarla asks what right Mahira has, does she understand any rituals? These fasts are for married women. Mahira asserts that even Dadi did not stop her, who is Sarla to forbid her then? Sarla demands Dadi to question Mahira. Karina accepts they all agreed to Mahira’s right for fast. They are not snatching Preeta’s right, and instead celebrating her first Karwachot.
Ramoona interferes that Preeta married Karan under the veil and snatched Mahira’s right, otherwise Mahira must be Karan’s wife. Sarla reminds them that even before that, Karan came and married Preeta. Ramoona argues what Preeta was doing in Karan and Mahira’s engagement then? Which wife attends her husband’s engagement? Everyone in the family also approved of Karan and Mahira’s marriage. It was Sarla’s daughter who betrayed them. Dadi requests them to calm down. Sarla says it is Dadi’s house, she must fight for Preeta’s right; but she is doing this here. Ramoona blames Sarla that Preeta sent her daughter to hospital.
Preeta betrayed everyone in the family, she could have sent Preeta and all family members to jail. But Mahira saved them. She can send Sarla and Preeta to jail even now. Sarla accepts her challenge and demands to call the police. Preeta and Karan married twice, their relationship is stronger than all other marriages. Preeta cares for everyone, has a pure heart and does not think selfishly; she is proud that Preeta is her daughter. Ramoona insults Sarla that her daughter reached a palace from a poor neighborhood, why would not she be proud.
Preeta requests Sarla to stay calm, she is not well. Sarla asks if Preeta has a self-esteem. It is her right that she fasts for Karan, and here everyone is allowing Mahira to fast as well. One must behave to their in laws well, but not at the cost of one’s respect. Preeta must be really nice, but she will fight for her right.
Ramoona intervenes that Mahira’s right was actually snatched by Preeta. Mahira shouts at them to stop this, otherwise she will kill herself. Preeta threatens not to misbehave otherwise…. Ramoona tells Preeta to stay away from everything. Infact go away from the family and people in it.
