He wonders why he cannot control his feelings and why he always comes to her only to get deceived again. Feeling foolish, he says he has had enough. He tells her that he will not listen to her words anymore.

Prarthna asks him to close his eyes and ask his heart for the answers, but Shivansh refuses to believe her. He does not want to listen to her and says he is leaving the room, not because she wants him to, but for Bua Maa’s sake. He adds that people matter to him, not rooms or property. Bua Maa matters to him, and she does not want them to stay together.
Prarthna asks what he wants. Shivansh steps back and says he wants to stop living with her because she is no longer a nice person and has become a headache. Instead of giving him peace, she is selfish and has come only for money. Prarthna tells him that his heart cannot really say such things about her and feels that his family has brainwashed him. Shivansh finds this strange and says these are his own thoughts. He is not a child who can be provoked by someone else’s words.
Prarthna holds his hand and asks him to close his eyes once and ask his heart whether he trusts Sonalika or her. She insists, but Shivansh makes her let go of him. He refuses to listen and leaves, only to realize that he left his clothes in the room.
A man comes to show Prarthna the Bappa designs, but Bua Maa asks him to wait. She tells Shivansh that she knows he packed his clothes but accidentally left them in the room. She adds that Tanya saw him leaving the room. Shivansh thanks Bua Maa for forgiving him, hugs her and apologizes. Bua Maa says she is sorry too. Shivansh tells her that she means a lot to him and is the most important person in his life.
Prarthna hears her phone ringing and runs to answer it. Shivansh worries that she might fall. She meets the man, who asks her to come and see the designs. Bua Maa tells Prarthna that she should not do anything for the family and asks the man to leave. Prarthna asks him to wait for some time because she will speak to Bua Maa and then come outside. The man says he will finish his calls while waiting and goes outside.
Prarthna tells Shivansh that it is important to bring Bappa home. Bua Maa asks whether Prarthna asked or even informed her about bringing the Ganpati idol. Sonalika arrives and witnesses their argument. Bua Maa asks Prarthna if she is the owner of the house and will decide everything. Prarthna says it was Bua Maa’s Mannat and she wants to fulfill it.
Bua Maa says she will make all the preparations because it is her house. Prarthna then says that she will not let Shivansh and Sonalika get married. Bua Maa tells her that she knows Prarthna will take the alimony first and says she wants to conduct the pre-marriage functions. She decides to keep the engagement function and asks Prarthna to spare their lives. She says Prarthna cannot stop them from performing any rituals.
Prarthna tells her that the rituals will mean nothing because Shivansh is still married. She does not think Shivansh and Sonalika can perform any function with their hearts. She is also worried about his Kundali dosh. She says she will not let Shivansh perform any ritual until they are legally divorced. She still wants to bring Bappa home.
Bua Maa scolds her while Shivansh and Sonalika remain silent. Prarthna tells them that she will fulfill the Mannat because she does not want anything wrong to happen. She will bring Bappa home.
Sonalika recalls Prarthna’s words and becomes furious. She angrily breaks things until Tanya stops her. Tanya tells Sonalika that she loves Shivansh but needs to be patient. Sonalika says Prarthna does not want their marriage functions to happen and she cannot tolerate her anymore. She asks Tanya to suggest something.
Tanya tells her that Prarthna is a survivor because she comes from a middle-class family. She feels Sonalika cannot handle Prarthna. Bua Maa asks Shivansh if he is going to remain silent. He asks what she wants to hear from him. She asks him to speak about Prarthna and clearly tell her that this is not her house.
Shivansh tells Bua Maa that Prarthna is his wife and has a right to his house. Bua Maa says she will not tolerate Prarthna in her house and will not let her celebrate the Ganpati festival because Prarthna is stopping their marriage functions. Prarthna tells Bua Maa that Shivansh loves and respects her deeply because he considers her his mother, but she feels Bua Maa has no motherly affection for him. She says Bua Maa troubles Shivansh and plays with his emotions.
Bua Maa tells Prarthna to shut up. She says she does not need to explain what Shivansh means to her. Their relationship has existed for decades, and they know what they share. She tells Prarthna that she is nobody to judge her love for Shivansh.

Bua Maa angrily takes Tanya with her. Prarthna tells Shivansh that Bua Maa became upset with Tanya. Shivansh says he does not want any drama during Bappa’s puja. He asks Prarthna to focus only on the puja.
Prarthna asks Shivansh to get ready and come for the puja because the Pandit will arrive soon.
Bua Maa takes Tanya to her room and rebukes her for joining Prarthna in the puja. She wants Tanya to support her and Sonalika. Tanya says she was only participating in the puja for Bappa’s sake and asks Bua Maa to attend the puja.
