Twist Of Fate On ZeeWorld Sunday 16th August 2026 Update, Raunak asks Payal why Shakti did not call to inform him that the house was on fire. Payal tells him that the task might be completed by now. Mayank asks Raunak to call Kanti and check if he is at home. Raunak says that Kanti is not there. Payal tells Raunak to go home and call the fire brigade and the police. She says that he should file a police complaint immediately and get Shivansh arrested.

Shivansh gets locked inside a room. He calls the lawyer for help, but the lawyer does not answer. Meanwhile, Prarthna is upset as she remembers Smita’s harsh words. She walks through the corridor crying and suddenly spots the fire. She gets a huge shock and runs to inform Smita.
Smita asks Prarthna to go away. Prarthna tells her that a fire has broken out, but Smita does not believe her. She tells Prarthna not to make up another story and tries to leave. Prarthna keeps warning her about the fire and stops her from going outside. Smita asks her to let go of her hand and warns her not to do it again. She then goes to check for herself. Prarthna worries about Smita and follows her to save her.
Shivansh tries to open the door and break it, but he cannot get out. His phone battery is almost finished, so he finds a charger and puts his phone on charge. He is shocked when he sees the fire and wonders how it started. Smita also sees the fire and finally believes Prarthna. She decides to escape through the rear exit.
Prarthna and Smita see the fire spreading throughout the house. Raunak, Mayank and Payal return and see the mansion burning. Prarthna asks Smita to come with her, while Payal tells Raunak that the entire house is on fire.
Raunak says that the house will turn to ashes. He worries about Shivansh and says that he never wanted to kill him. He only wanted Shivansh to be arrested and says that he has to save him. Mayank agrees with Raunak, but Payal asks them to let Shivansh die because he is Raunak’s enemy.
Raunak says that he cannot kill Shivansh. Payal tells him not to become emotional. She says that she is stronger than him and does not care if Shivansh dies. She reminds him of everything Shivansh has done to ruin his life. Raunak says that Shivansh will die in the dangerous fire and regrets what he has done. Payal manages to stop him.
Inside the mansion, Smita loses hope when she sees the house burning. She tells Prarthna that they will not survive. Prarthna encourages her and says that they will help each other and save themselves. She takes Smita with her.
Shivansh thinks about jumping out through the window. He calls the fire brigade, but the number is busy.
Bua Maa asks Shubhvi about Smita and starts taunting her. They get into an argument. Bua Maa asks Shubhvi if she knows who Smita really is. She says that she knows the entire truth and that Shubhvi will hate Smita if she finds out. Shubhvi does not understand what she means and walks away.
Raunak asks Payal if she is really sure that they should not save Shivansh. Payal tells him that Shivansh has taken away his peace. She says that Raunak’s family and Prarthna are safe, but if he saves Shivansh today, he will never get Prarthna back. She insists that he should let Shivansh die.
Payal remembers that Shakti called her and told her that Prarthna was inside the house. She tells Shakti that Prarthna must die in the fire. She wants Prarthna out of Raunak’s life and says that Raunak will belong only to her. She orders Shakti not to tell Raunak anything. Shakti agrees and leaves. Payal smirks.
Prarthna takes Smita into a room and sees the fire near the window. She quickly puts it out. Smita says that the fire is too intense and they need a fire extinguisher. Prarthna says that she will come with her.
Smita asks if Prarthna does not trust her. Prarthna offers to help and says that she trusts her. Smita scolds her and tells her to stay there while she goes to get the extinguisher.
Shivansh receives a call from Bua Maa. She asks about Prarthna and tells him that Prarthna did not come to the wedding. She says that her word will have no value if Prarthna does not come. She tells him not to misunderstand her, but points out that both Prarthna and Raunak are absent from the function. She plants a doubt in Shivansh’s mind.
Shivansh calls Prarthna. She answers the phone, already expecting him to scold her. She says that she could not reach the wedding. Shivansh tells her that he never doubted her character, but he is upset that she did not attend the wedding.
Prarthna tells him that she is not with Raunak and is actually with Smita at the Zaveri mansion. Shivansh asks her not to lie to him. She insists that she is telling the truth and asks him not to question her character. He asks her to let him speak to Smita. Prarthna says that they are trapped inside the fire and Smita has gone to the storeroom to get a fire extinguisher.
Shivansh becomes worried and asks where Prarthna is. She refuses to tell him until he apologizes for doubting her. He warns that she will get trapped because the fire is spreading quickly. Prarthna asks how he knows this and wonders if he is also inside the house.
Shivansh and Prarthna start questioning each other about their presence in the Zaveri mansion. Shivansh asks why she is talking like his wife. Prarthna replies that she is indeed his wife. She asks where he is. She tells him that she used to work in the Zaveri house and knows all the rooms. Shivansh says that he is in Smita’s room.
Suddenly, someone comes and unlocks the door anonymously. Shivansh is finally free.
Tanya tells Bua Maa that she did wrong by putting doubts in Shivansh’s mind. Bua Maa tells her not to support Prarthna. Tanya says that Prarthna is not a bad person. Bua Maa says that one can never know when a girl’s character changes. Tanya asks Bua Maa to tell the truth. Bua Maa says that she only told Shivansh that Prarthna and Raunak were not at the function.
Tanya defends Raunak, leaving Bua Maa puzzled. Tanya remembers how Raunak saved her and says that he is a nice guy. Bua Maa asks what has happened to her.
Outside the Zaveri mansion, Raunak, Mayank and Payal remain near the burning house. Payal receives a call from Ketki, who asks where she is. Payal says that her dream is about to come true and asks Ketki not to call again. Ketki asks what she is planning.
Payal tells her that Raunak is carrying out his revenge plan against Shivansh and that she feels she will eventually win. She explains Raunak’s dangerous plan. Ketki is shocked to learn that the Zaveri mansion has been set on fire. Payal tells her that Shivansh and Prarthna are inside and will both die. She adds that Raunak does not know Prarthna is there. Ketki worries about Payal.
Payal sees Raunak and becomes happy. At the same time, Shivansh finds Prarthna at the door. Prarthna asks him to come with her quickly. He tells her that the entire house is burning, but she asks him to listen to her. She takes him along.
Shivansh asks Prarthna not to risk their lives. They enter a room, and Prarthna looks for her phone. Shivansh and Prarthna protect each other from the fire.
Tanya calls Prarthna. Shivansh asks why Tanya is calling her and answers the phone. Tanya asks where Prarthna is. Shivansh tells her that Prarthna is with him. Tanya asks where they are. Shivansh says that they are at Raunak’s house because they had some work there. Tanya is relieved.
Shivansh and Prarthna argue. Prarthna tells him that she came to meet Smita. He learns that Smita is still inside the house. Prarthna explains that she came to speak to Smita about ending the fight between Raunak and Shivansh.
Shivansh asks where Smita went. Prarthna says that she went to the storeroom. He says that he will go and save her. Prarthna tells him that the fire will not reach the storeroom, but Shivansh says that fire spreads quickly. He tells her not to stop him because he has to save Smita. She says that she will be happy if he saves her.
Prarthna tries to stop him, but Shivansh says that he will find a way. She asks him to wait while she gets wet towels and a blanket to protect them. She rushes away, but when she returns, Shivansh is gone.
Tanya tells Bua Maa that she called Prarthna and Shivansh answered the phone. She says that Shivansh told her they were together at Raunak’s house. Bua Maa says that it is impossible and asks if Tanya is trying to protect Raunak.
Shubhvi asks Bua Maa why she is scolding her daughter. Bua Maa scolds Shubhvi. Meanwhile, Shivansh runs towards the storeroom while trying to protect himself from the heavy fire. He says that he has to reach Smita before the flames reach her because he does not want her to die.
Bua Maa questions Tanya about Raunak. Tanya admits that she has a soft corner for him and explains how Raunak saved her from a bad man. Bua Maa asks why she did not tell her earlier. Tanya says that she did not want to create a scene. Bua Maa tells her to forget everything and starts speaking against the Zaveris.
Bua Maa gets angry and tells Tanya that they should go home. Tanya feels bad, but Bua Maa takes her away. Shubhvi watches them leave and calls Smita to give her the news.
Smita is still looking for the fire extinguisher. She cannot find it anywhere and answers the call. Shubhvi starts gossiping, but Smita asks her to listen to her. Shubhvi cannot hear her properly, and Smita’s phone loses network.
Prarthna looks for Shivansh. Smita finally finds the fire extinguisher and says that she will save herself and Prarthna because Prarthna also tried to save her. She sees the fire spreading and starts crying as she watches the house burn. The fire extinguisher does not help. She wonders who will come to save her.

Raunak calls Shubhvi and asks if Smita is angry with him. Shubhvi tells him that Smita went home to get a diamond necklace for the bride. Raunak is shaken by this news. Shubhvi says that Smita has not returned yet and informs him that Shivansh and Prarthna have gone to their house.
Raunak cannot believe it. He realizes that he has put three lives at risk and starts feeling a shock in his heart. Shubhvi confirms that Shivansh and Prarthna are at the Zaveri mansion. She explains that Tanya called Prarthna, but Shivansh answered and told Tanya that they were at the Zaveri house. None of them have returned. Raunak becomes emotional and drops the phone in shock.
Prarthna worries about getting Shivansh back to consciousness. She gets some water and sprinkles it on his face. He wakes up. She asks if he is okay, but he says that he has to save Smita. Prarthna tells him that he is injured and says that she will save Smita instead. She orders him to leave through the window.
Prarthna locks Shivansh inside the room and tells him to leave the house. She then runs to save Smita. Shivansh worries that Smita could die in the fire and does not want to leave her in danger.
Raunak suddenly runs towards the fire to enter the house. Payal asks Mayank to stop him. Mayank tells Payal that Prarthna and Smita are also trapped inside. He goes to call the fire brigade, but Payal stops him. She then runs after Raunak.
Payal asks Raunak not to go inside. Raunak asks how she can stop him when Prarthna and Smita are inside. Payal says that Shivansh is there to save Prarthna. Raunak says that he will save Prarthna himself. Payal argues that Shivansh cares about Prarthna.
Raunak and Payal continue arguing. She threatens to inform the police about his plan. Raunak tells her to do whatever she wants and rushes towards the entrance. Payal vents her anger at Mayank.
Inside the mansion, Prarthna feels guilty for sending Smita to the storeroom alone. She shouts for Smita, hoping to get a response. Shivansh tries to break the door and becomes angry that Prarthna thinks she is a superwoman. He wants to save his mother.
Raunak finds a door locked and shouts for Smita and Prarthna. He admits that he wanted to frame Shivansh, but everything has gone wrong. Mayank helps him, but they fail to break the door. Raunak says that he has to enter through a window. Mayank asks him to wait for the fire brigade.
Payal says that Raunak has gone mad for Prarthna. She receives another call from Ketki and tells her that Raunak has discovered Prarthna’s presence and has gone to save her. Ketki tells Payal to relax and advises her to follow Raunak and prove her love for him.
Payal refuses because she does not want to risk her life. Ketki tells her to follow Raunak and help him. She says they can tell Raunak later that Payal loves him and risked her life for him. Payal finally agrees, although she is scared. Ketki says that she is coming to protect her and will also send the bodyguards. She asks Payal to impress Raunak. Payal goes after him.
Prarthna reaches the storeroom and finds Smita lying unconscious. She asks Smita to open her eyes and get up. Smita sees Prarthna but is unable to breathe. Prarthna encourages her to keep her eyes open.
Shivansh manages to open the door and runs to find Smita. Mayank asks Raunak to let him come with him. Raunak sees that Mayank is determined, so they enter the burning house together and face the dangerous fire.
Prarthna takes Smita with her, but the smoke makes her dizzy. Prarthna and Smita fall to the ground. Shivansh reaches them. Prarthna asks him to take Smita through the back door. He asks how she will manage, but she says that she is fine.
Shivansh lifts Smita and carries her away. Prarthna tells him that she will follow. As he walks ahead, Prarthna faints. Raunak looks for Smita and Prarthna and tells Mayank that Prarthna knows the house well, so she will try to find a way through the fire.
Payal becomes scared to enter the burning house and does not want to follow Raunak. Shivansh puts Smita in the car and looks for Prarthna. He says that Prarthna wants to prove that she is strong and will not call him for help. He does not go back to save her immediately.
Raunak and Mayank reach the corridor. Raunak says that he will go to the storeroom and does not care about his own life. He only wants to save Prarthna.
Shivansh says that Prarthna has become a headache for him. He regrets marrying her and gets angry. He says that he will take Smita to the hospital. He remembers Preeta’s words and recalls his marriage with Prarthna.
Prarthna finally wakes up and starts coughing. Shivansh reaches her and tells her that he came back to save her, but she is only wasting time. He scolds her. Prarthna faints again, and Shivansh carries her in his arms.
Raunak and Mayank reach them and see Shivansh carrying Prarthna. Raunak says that he will not let Shivansh take Prarthna and wants to save her himself. He runs after Shivansh.
